Me and my group had a great weekend at Don's place , always a good stay . Will definitely stay again , thanks Don & Mary !!

I would DEFINITELY RECOMMEND this place!!! This house was gorgeous and very well-kept! The owners thought of everything that travelers may need. They also had various snacks, movies, and games for the children. The grounds were beautiful and peaceful. The owners have bird feeders up, so it was really nice getting to see all the birds flying around the backyard. There were so many beautiful cardinals and we saw 1 blue jay. Stephanie and Jan were such friendly and amazing people! Whatever we needed, they always answered quickly. The home was very comfortable and we had such a good stay! We were even allowed to have visitors! Most of the Airbnbs that we have stayed at did not allow visitors, so it was nice to be able to have our family over. We will definitely stay here again!

Such a great place to stay, I am so glad that I found it! Lisa was friendly, quick to respond, and accommodated all of our needs. This place was exactly what we were looking for. I would highly recommend, and we hope to return again in the future.

The place was so peaceful and quiet. The master bedroom had windows facing the lake so it was always a treat to fall asleep and wake up to views of the lake. The fishing off the dock was outstanding. At one point, there was a power outage in the neighborhood and the host was quick to update me as she received updates which was very nice and unexpected! I will visit again.

5-Star Stay at the Perfect Fishing Getaway! We had an amazing stay at this cozy two-room cottage on Lake Athens! It was the perfect spot for a fishing getaway. The dock was ideal for tying up our boat, making it easy to head out early in the morning or relax on the water in the afternoon. The sunsets over the lake were absolutely stunning—something we looked forward to every night as we sat on the porch and reminisced. The kitchen was well-equipped for cooking up fresh meals, and the outdoor smoker was a fantastic bonus for preparing some delicious meals. The friendly neighbors even shared a few great fishing spots with us, which made our trip even more enjoyable. If you’re looking for a peaceful lakeside retreat with great fishing, beautiful views, and all the comforts of home, this is the place to be. We can’t wait to come back!

What a wonderful place. Very quiet, clean and comfortable. Caught a few fish in the pond all released. Very convenient to nearby small Texas towns. We loved it.

This beautiful home made us feel comfortable staying in all day, or going out on the town...very peaceful.

This was the perfect place to stay! Definitely enjoyed getting some peace and quiet by the lake just watching the water and wildlife. Everything was as described and exactly what I needed! Would love to stay here again in the future :)

Such a great little place. Even better than the pictures of it! They had such nice little extra touches as well. Bed was very comfortable. I adored the place. It was a nice way for us to recharge and relax!

This was our second time staying here and it keeps getting better. You can’t beat the lake view. It’s perfect size for a couple and we had a dog Ludo with us also. Highly recommend!

Stayed here for a horse show at the Texas Rose Horse Park and it was very convenient. Home was clean and beds were comfy! Would highly recommend!

I had such an amazing stay at Judy's Country Cottage! Michelle was a wonderful host very friendly and helpful, she put alot of thought into the decor and every amenity you can think of. The reclining sofa and bed were super comfy. When I walked in from a long drive. Homemade cookies and muffins were there and tasted amazing! Also met her super gentle and adorable pooch, he's a gentle giant. I would stay here again in a heartbeat!

We really enjoyed our stay. It was a very relaxing weekend. There was a pool table and a shuffleboard. It was a lot of fun. The host communicated clearly and was very friendly. The kitchen was fully stopped and we brought food to cook with. It was really fun. I would definitely stay here again. There’s also a really nice dock that when the weather is good, you can go swim off of our fish.

This was our first time in Bullard. We chose this place since it was one of the closer options to my son (and grandbabies) in Troup. We had a livelystay and the home met and exceeded our expectations. We will be back!

Nestled in a tranquil area, the house offers a sense of seclusion that enhances its charm. It comes fully stocked with all the essentials we needed for an enjoyable fishing adventure. Additionally, we were thrilled to discover a beautiful golf course just a short drive away, which became a highlight of our trip as we took in the picturesque views while enjoying a few rounds. Every aspect of our stay added to a memorable experience filled with relaxation and fun.

Lisa and Laura’s place was perfect for a weekend getaway!! The cottage was absolutely adorable (the decor was lovely) and had such a nice view. Everything was super clean and nice! The record player was one of our favorite parts, we even played some records we bought at trade days. We loved it everything. Thank you Lisa and Laura!
