Great location in a walkable neighborhood of Black Mountain, NC. House is warm and inviting. We enjoyed our time there. Rooms are small and it is hard to imagine 12 people staying in this place. We are a family of 8 and it seemed a bit cramped at times. If you plan to eat meals together at the house it would be difficult to have seating for all; there is no real kitchen table. Kitchen is cozy, but they do have two, one upstairs and one downstairs in a cleverly concealed staircase. There is no dishwasher, so be prepared to wash and dry dishes if you eat at the house. Kids really enjoyed to pool and hot tub. Also the inside of the house is warm and inviting, personal decorations and books and toys will make a family feel right at home or potentially nervous that something will be left out of place or broken. Overall, we felt the place suited our needs and we were thankful for our time there. Hosts clearly love their home and have done a nice job making it a place that is inviting.

Enjoyed our stay at this house just outside of Black Mountain for the weekend. In a quiet spot with amazing views from porch that is only a short drive from the town and other spots. The house itself was in pristine condition when we arrived and looked exactly like the photos. Would highly recommend for a mountain getaway!

Marks place was perfect for a ski getaway. Well stocked with everything we needed. Ideally located near Sugar and Beech mountain. The photos did not do it justice, the view was magnificent and the deck space was amazing. Enjoyed peaceful mornings on the deck overlooking the lake.

Peaceful Getaway with Stunning Lake Views I had an incredible stay at the Cozy Lakefront Retreat! From the moment I arrived, I was welcomed by the serene surroundings and breathtaking lake views. The cabin was impeccably clean, beautifully decorated, and equipped with everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The location is perfect for unwinding—whether sipping coffee on the deck overlooking the water or enjoying an evening by the fire pit. The hosts were incredibly attentive and made sure I had everything I needed without being intrusive. If you’re looking for a peaceful escape surrounded by nature, this is the perfect spot. I can’t recommend it enough and look forward to coming back soon!

We had a great stay at Jared's place. Everything was very comfortable -- and the bathrooms and kitchen were super-clean, which was great. It was a very quiet community (winter), and the houses are placed for privacy/good views. The club also had very helpful staff, a nice pool, and a good gym. We were happy there was no ice or snow when we were there, as the driveway is steep. A convenient location related to Boone, Blowing Rock, etc. -- everything seemed about 20 minutes away. Jared was also generous on check-out time for us. And we appreciated the very simple check-out procedure.

Our family of 5 thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this beautiful mountain lodge. The views from every room of the house are spectacular and we had everything we needed for a winter getaway to the mountains. The location and proximity to both Black Mountain and Asheville are ideal for eating out, shopping, and exploring these great towns while also giving a quiet place to retreat to. The hosts were very responsive during our stay despite it being the holidays and we would stay with them again.

Great place to stay, beautiful scenery and great hosts! Communication was great, response time was quick and answered every question we had.

Our stay at Anne's house was simply amazing. She is the perfect host, always responsive, helpful, accommodating whenever possible, willing to answer questions, and the home itself was absolutely perfect! Every single person in our group returned raving about the house and how perfect it was for our weekend of skiing.

Feel like we stumbled upon a gem finding Molly’s place. It was incredibly convenient, impeccably clean, comfortable and cozy for our family. We are do glad we chose to stay here on a quick visit to Asheville. Molly had excellent restaurant recommendations and just a short walk or 2 minute car ride away was one of the best coffee shops in town. Looking forward to visiting again soon!

We had come to help with the hurricane disaster relief. It was great having a relaxing place to come back to at the end of the day.

Beautiful home, very comfortable for groups that seek private bedrooms. Also has very comfortable mattresses (some very firm, which I like). Close to Beech Mountain ski resort & beautiful views. Kitchen, dining & living area all open with a ton of windows. We really enjoyed our stay.

We had a short stay and not enough time to really enjoy it. The home was cozy and spotless, just as advertised! Gayle was helpful and flexible with our changing schedule, and even went by to turn on the lights for us when we weren't going to be there until dark. We would definitely stay there again!

Melissa's place was an amazing stay for our first weekend in Asheville. The house was incredible. So clean, well stocked, soft sheets with nice mattresses, hot tub and great views. Melissa was very responsive and pleasant. We're excited to come back to visit Asheville and support the rebuilding after the hurricane.

We had an amazing stay and thoroughly enjoyed the front yard for all day sledding! The house was spacious - perfect for our four families! Most importantly, the hosts were super friendly and responsive to any questions we had! We will definitely be back to enjoy the river in the summer!!

We had an amazing couple of days, the location was beautiful. The small hike to the water fall was definitely a memorable experience. I would highly recommend this picture perfect, peaceful retreat to families as well as couples. Gustavo and Isabel were extremely kind to let us arrive a few hours early as our drive was shorter than expected. Thank you for the hospitality.

Nice house. A little dated, but that was kind of nostalgic. Mountain views are breathtaking!!

We had a great stay! It snowed in the days before we arrived but the driveway was clear. My daughter was able to do some sledding in the side yard. The fireplace was wonderful and we enjoyed the collection of board games. An overall great mountain weekend!

Amazing Host! more than 5 star rating. The Host were extremely friendly and very responsive. There was a unexpected heavy snowfall while we were staying, our SUV got struck while driving back so Host/Neighbours are very responsive and helped us to get out from there. I never ever forget in my life the help that host did. My whole family loved the place and the veiws are amazing. We will visit again sometime in Summer or Fall and I will definitely recommend this place to my friends.
