I recently stayed with my family, and we had an amazing time! The place is fantastic, and it’s clear that the hosts put a lot of time and effort into making sure your stay is enjoyable. They went above and beyond in every way! The property was clean, organized, and spacious—perfect for our group. We felt so comfortable and at home. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a great getaway!

We fell in love with this beach house over the course of a month, and we are so grateful for Trevor's patience and attention to detail. The house has everything, clean kitchen and bathroom, up to date appliances, and most importantly, a view so beautiful that watching the clouds roll in every day cured all worries. Loved Trevor's house and will be back for my next vacation!

The host responds very promptly. However, disposing of trash is a bit inconvenient as it takes about 15 minutes round trip, and you need to pay $3 per trash bag. It’s recommended to dispose of the trash before checking out, not after. If you have a friend waiting in the parking lot while you take out the trash, they might rush you. Communication with the host was smooth and responses were quick. I wouldn’t recommend staying here in the winter as the heating isn’t great. It would be nice if each bed came with a comfortable duvet rather than just blankets. When the outdoor temperature is 7°C, the bedrooms can feel cold, but everything else was good.

My husband’s friends and I spent the week here in Deep River. We had the pleasure and luck to view the aurora borealis more than twice with excellent clearing from trees. Definitely a huge highlight! The wide and big deck and fire pit along the large property was more than enough room for 10 people. The common area inside had amazing views of the lake as well as the fall foliage trees colours. Can’t ask for more! This house is in a private area - around 3 km from the town with a lot of choices for groceries, stores along with hiking trails nearby. I highly recommend this place for families and groups especially those who appreciate the outdoors.

We came to ski for 3 days at Calabogie during March break. The location and view were ideal--a minute to the ski hill (that you can see through the trees out the main window) and parking was free and easy at the hill. This allowed us to come back to have lunch at the chalet and then return to the slopes in the afternoon. The chalet has several high end features--heated floors in kitchen and bathroom, and an induction stove and fancy microwave. it was nicer than we expected. We struggled a bit to figure out how everything worked (probably us, though--we have low tech stuff at home). The designer fridge and countertops and overall aesthetics of the kitchen are beautiful. The chairs were maybe a bit big and awkward to move around for the tight space they were in--was hard to get around them. That was a minor inconvenience, though--overall the space was a delight to be in.

We rented the cottage in the winter and it was exactly as described. The sauna was lovely. Comfortable and clean linens. Easy to find and Marcin was always available for any questions. Don’t think about it…just book!
