I was on the hunt for a cabin in the woods and finding Williams place was a dream. It’s 15 minutes from Torrington but you feel like you’re more isolated. It was perfect for my husband’s birthday getaway. William is friendly, helpful and responds quickly. He even gave us a late check out time. The house has amazing antiques and interior. I’m sure he sourced from several of the local antique and flea markets in the area.(Don’t forget to hit an ATM prior to going antiquing) He has a book in the cabin with a ton of local recommendations. We mostly just kicked back and relaxed at the cabin. Soaking up the sun in the hot tub outside next to a lovely bustling river/creek in the back yard. It was a bonus given I have a bad back and it was a little tough adjusting to not sleeping in my own bed. We have already decided to book this place for our anniversary. Thank you again for hosting us and we can’t wait to come again!

We had such a delightful stay here. The photos don’t do it justice. The kitchen was exceptionally well equipped, which we used extensively. When a couple of minor issues with the house popped up, Brian responded immediately. I can’t recommend this place highly enough.

We loved our stay at Jordyn's cabin. It was such a serene and peaceful way to spend our weekend away. The Airbnb looks exactly as the pictures depict! It was an incredibly quiet area that is tucked away a short 10 min drive from anything that you might need during your stay. Highly recommend and we look forward to coming back some day!

What an awesome trip! The cabin and backyard was beautiful and we loved the hot tub. We recommend visiting Kent Falls and Craft Kitchen and Bar. Overall totally worth every penny and would love to visit again!

Laura and Rashaad were gracious hosts, gave us clear instructions for their beautiful home, and helped us feel welcome with great restaurant recommendations and information about the area. Their home was clean, cozy and spacious - nicer in person than the pictures showed! We had one hiccup with a door being stuck and they even refunded me $100 - unnecessary but very appreciated! We had a wonderful weekend and would 100% return.

Michael and Beth were superb hosts. From the moment we arrived to when we left, they made us feel as if we were family. They are absolutely wonderful people! Their property is beautiful and perfect for nature seekers. There’s a lot to do around the surrounding areas and they were super helpful with giving some awesome recommendations. The cabin is awesome and very clean. It was a great family trip with our 2 little ones (2 and 1 yrs old) highly recommend this spot!

I must say visitingKara‘s place was an amazing experience like none other before. The house is literally right off the water. It’s a very comfortable relaxing place to stay very clean very spacious. Everything that you know is going to be right there. There’s nothing like having a cup of coffee first thing in the morning and sitting by the they also do have hiking trails nearby, and the local restaurants are great. This is a I will never forget. I’m definitely coming back. This is 100% a hidden gem.

Jen's cabin is a real gem. It was all I was hoping to find and even better: a beautiful home on a beautiful property. Every little part of the house, from the kitchen to the bathroom to the bedroom and living room displayed a refined and careful attention to both practical and esthetic detail. The 40 acre property was gorgeous and perfectly maintained. I could not be more pleased with my stay. I hope to come back!

Henry’s place easily fit the needs of our group (three families with little kids) and had plenty of bedrooms for us to spread out between. We appreciated the large couch / living room area which was large enough for us all to comfortably sit. It’s a quick drive to the town of Kent which was very cute to explore (and lots of good places to eat!). We have friends in the area and would definitely book here again for a return trip. Check out was a breeze and we greatly appreciated not having a long list of to do items like other Airbnb’s.

We loved staying at Lucy’s. It’s one of those places that has everything you need, from extra blankets, lots of silverware, to high quality WiFi. And the surrounding area is beautiful.

Phillip’s cabin in the woods is heavenly! It’s so beautiful and comfy and cozy. Phillip was such an extremely nice host. He called us before we checked in to explain everything we needed to know about the house. He was so kind and gregarious. My boyfriend and I booked his place at the last minute for a quick getaway for our birthdays and Phillip let us check in and out early as a birthday gift which was so generous of him. We will definitely be back. We felt as if we were in a little slice of mountain heaven!

Everything was great! Charming house that was ideal with kids for a weekend skiing.

We absolutely loved our stay!!! The house is beautiful, well decorated, has everything you need and it is truly dog friendly!! Instructions were clear, helpful, and the house was spotless clean. The towns nearby are very cute and we definitely plan on going back for Spring or Fall!!

This is our second year at Emily & Carol's cabin. It's homely, cozy, lovely and warm at night with a small fire going and the TV on. We spent the evening assembling legos hah! We had an amazing time looking out towards the lake and would love to come back next year too!

We wanted a place where me and my two girls could enjoy a home away from home while we visited nearby Gilmore Girls sites and this place didn’t disappoint it was perfect!

We really enjoyed our stay at the cabin. Our pets loved taking long naps by the fireplace. - clean place - responsive host - private and peaceful

My friends and I had a wonderful stay at Ana’s home. The place was so cozy, and we felt right at home from the moment we arrived. Everything was clean, well-stocked, and just as described. Ana was very responsive and made the whole experience seamless. The location was great, we loved the outdoor area and comfy living space. We’d definitely stay here again!
