Julie is an outstanding host! This house is perfect for any getaway. It was clean, spacious, well equipped, comfortable, and STUNNING outdoor area with a gorgeous pool. This is 3 FULL baths and 1/2 bath!! Two kitchens! Two family rooms! You had space! It made you want to relax! The kitchen was well stocked with any utensil or appliance you would need. It was private. You could really escape and get away. Woodbury and the surrounding towns were jampacked with things to do. There were many places to choose from to eat. Such a variety from steak, seafood, pizza, and American fare pubs and other specialty restaurants. Lots of variety/antique shops, flea market, wine/liquor stores, convenience stores. Just a short drive into Southbury you find more shops, antiques, restaurants, bigger, grocery store, etc. We also drove to a few other neighboring towns. All under 45 minutes. Friendly people! We had a wonderful time! Price is fabulous, house/outdoor area is A+ value! Thank you Julie!!

Really loved this airbnb! Would stay again! I love the lay out gives everyone a ton of space and was super clean. Easy 15 minute drive to most places we visited in New Haven. The only things that weren’t an issue for us but to keep in mind was the one bathroom for large groups, that can be challenging. Also, the ceilings are on the lower end for anyone over 6ft, my boyfriend had to watch his head at the doorways. Under 6 you are all good though. Lastly, one of the bedrooms has a bedroom behind it. This was not an issue at all for his but just to note. We did love that the entrance way has doors that you can close, so we actually used that as a sleeping space to have everyone more separated. We were a group of 7 and had a ton of room. All bedrooms are a pretty good size as well.

We stayed at Ryan's place while visiting family in the area over the holiday weekend. The place was comfortable and clean and the bonus of being able to bring our pups was the best part. The dog park down the road was amazing and the locals were very friendly. The location was great, very convenient to shops, grocery store, gas etc. Overall we had a great time. Thanks again, Ryan!

Yellow Door House was a fantastic stay, paired with an even more incredible host. The house itself was well-furnished and clean, with plenty of extra house supplies for us to use. Kathleen was also impeccable as a host, going above and beyond to make sure we had a great experience; one of our party left behind a water bottle, and she was so accommodating as to ship it back to us. I could not recommend this place more!

The host was exceptional! He took care of every need after we were displaced from our home. We stayed for a long time during snow and he took care of all snow removal as well! Very reasonable with his check-in and check out! He responds so quickly and a beautiful home, clean and we felt right at home! Beautiful neighborhood and yard, close by to everything needed. Everything needed was in the home. Very accommodating with anything needed! We loved that he was pet friendly and had everything a home could need including all supplies, laundry and amazing communication. I would definitely stay again!

A lovely house in a private location. Our kids loved the games, watching movies on the projector, and watching deer from the window. The kitchen was well equipped and everything was comfortable.

The place was incredibly beautiful. The photos did not do it justice. It is in the middle of nowhere. Tina was very detailed in her instruction and one of them was that you must bring groceries because the closest grocery store is 30 minutes away. If you decide to book this place, read her detailed instructions. They are very helpful. The home offered a full kitchen which made it so easy for us to prepared our family's meals without struggling. The hot tub was such a treat. The basement had lots of games, a couch to launch and another TV. Perfect if you come with children. We were seven adults and we did not feel that we where on top of each other. The high ceiling truly made one of our boys (the giant) feel at home. Even the basement had a high ceiling. Pretty cool. Tina was incredibly nice and flexible. Check in is at 4 pm and we arrived earlier. We decided to contact her to see if it would be okay to check in earlier and she accommodated us. Thank you soooo much.

Second stay at this place. Love the location as it is convenient to my family, walking, and eating out. We actually used the kitchen to cook this time. Nice layout, reasonably well equipped. Not a fan of Keurig so really appreciated the pour-over holder and filters.

Great place, pictures are representative. The whole place is huge and just a perfect place to stay. Location is amazing, walkable to the New Haven green and loads of restaurants and bars. Martin is a great host and leaves very clear instructions which is really helpful. Would definitely stay again. Only note- floors/ceiling seem quite thin so the upstairs neighbours could hear us and we could hear them at certain points of the day. But that did not dampen our trip at all. If anyone is visiting we highly recommend Trinity on orange street, amazing Irish pub with sports and classic pub grub. And Georgie’s diner in west haven - classic American diner style with great food options.

Bill and Megan are amazing hosts. Very professional, and they take the extra step to make every aspect of your stay smooth and comfortable!

Stayed here for 2 nights with a couple friends. Perfect spot for a quick getaway. Backyard and pool area was exactly what we were looking for with lots of space to lounge and relax. Lots of entertainment if you wanted to just hang inside as well. As some of the other reviewers noted, you can definitely hear the hosts move around upstairs. Didn't impact us too much except for Saturday morning. Was a little difficult to sleep in b/c of the noise.

Very nice place and location is amazing. We were grateful that our host provide some basic amenities - coffee, shampoo and condtuoner, etc. Made our visit easy and very pleasant. Thank you!

Had an amazing stay at Traci’s place, love the view and peaceful surrounding., I would definitely go back again.

Pleasant & spotless apartment! So convenient to Wesleyan and Main St, an ideal location. Mark was very communicative, and allowed us a late checkout which we so appreciated. Heads up on some details that might help make your stay as comfortable as ours was: We found it to be a quiet location for most of our time, but it is across from student housing so there was some noise on the weekend night of our stay. It wasn't a problem for a sound sleeper among us or for a light one with earplugs. (Ditto for springtime morning birdsong, which was delightful!) Also, we parked on the street, which was easy. The driveway alleyway is really narrow, so note details in the listing/ask for instructions if you have a wider car or are squeamish driving through narrow spaces.

I was very pleased at the pet- friendly features of this home away from home. There was lighting throughout the edge of the backyard which allowed me to safely take my dogs out before bedtime. We also took short walks in the neighborhood. The area was very quiet at night and I slept very well. I lived in the same city in a different area for years and had never experienced that level of quiet!

Pacers Pasture is on a quiet road giving it a cute country experience in a great small town. The space has an amazing unfenced yard which was great for the dogs. Easy access inside with key entry, and we loved the door entry being toward the back of house for added privacy. The house has very comfortable linens, tons of parking, and the hottest water ever - which was perfect after a cold day adventuring. Aaron provides toiletries, some nice kitchen basics likes spices and teas/coffee, fast wifi-TV streaming, and a cozy space perfect for relaxing. Bonus points for being tastefully decorated and not overly cluttered. Would stay again!

Oomi was very helpful and the house was peaceful as well as walkable. I nice place to stay.

Camila was a great host, very responsive and always helpful. The apartment was clean, tidy and cosy and made us feel at home very quickly. Location was good, walkable distance to New Haven Green and its surroundings. All in all, we enjoyed our stay very much and would recommend Camila’s place to anyone planing to spend some time in New Haven.

We had a really nice time at Elizabeth home. The place was immaculate, and had all the comforts of home. I was having trouble connecting to the Wi-Fi, messaged Elizabeth, She got back to me within five minutes, and the issue was resolved. It was simply a reset on the router. I will certainly stay here again if I am back in the area.

Muna is an awesome host. She is super responsive and always gives us good advise. We had a long stay and the place is very warm, clean, and very comfortable. Excellent location with everything you need, we had a wonderful stay and family vacation at her place. Thank you once again Muna, we look forward to come back again!
