We loved our stay here! The neighborhood was peaceful with beautiful surroundings. Everything was clean, there was plenty of space, and the place was well stocked. Location was great, just a short drive into Downtown Flagstaff, and near lots of cool hiking areas.

Beautiful spacious comfortable cabin with amazing views, comfortable beds and furniture. Cool game and family room, large open living room with lovely view of the mountains.

The home was exactly as described. It was clean and cozy and Maria went above and beyond to let us know she was available for anything we needed. Beautiful area and wildlife came right up to the porch - was a great experience for our kids. We would love to return to this home next time we are in the area.

We cannot say enough about this place! Stayed here with our 2 young kids (2&6) and another family with an 11yr old. Our kids loved riding the power wheels on the race track out back, had snow ball fights off the front deck, played tons of games that were supplied inside in front of the warm fireplace, played Pac-Man, ps4, and with all the toys in the kids bedroom, etc. Us adults also loved the gas fire-pit and hanging heaters on the front deck to help with star gazing at night. The list goes on and on. Only thing I would note is that the pots and pans needed some updating. Not really a problem though, we made it work! Also, Gary was very responsive and proactive! There was a winter storm coming and he did everything above and beyond to make sure we got there safely and stayed safe! Great host experience for sure. Will definitely stay here again if ever in Show Low! Thanks so much for everything! Our kids didn’t want to leave!

This was the perfect place to stay! It was even more beautiful than the pictures! We had zero issues checking in, and the house was extremely clean. The views are absolutely incredible. As someone who has visited Sedona before, the neighborhood of this property is great. You can walk to restaurants and bars, tour pickup is nearby, and you have access to hiking trails without needing to shuttle or worry about parking! 10/10 would stay again!

Doug's place is an easy walk to restaurants and coffee shops and the hot tub is a welcome respite after a day of hiking. Overall, a good value for the money. We will be back next year.

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our 10-day stay at Amy Jo’s. From the great location in a quiet, idyllic neighborhood with spectacular views, to the exceptional, well-stocked kitchen, spacious bathrooms, comfortable furnishings and quality linens, our stay was so relaxing and wonderful. Amy Jo is a lovely, proactive communicator and thoughtful host who kindly allowed us early check-in. The village of Oak Creek has pretty much everything you need, so much so that we only went into Sedona for a few hikes. There are trails everywhere. We found excess to Big Park Loop Trail just further down Jacks Canyon Road after seeing several cars parked along the road. It’s a beautiful, easy walk with multiple trails and very few people too! We really enjoyed the toasted paninis from the deli at nearby Clark’s grocery store, along with fresh bread from Big Park Bakery — both conveniently close by. If Amy Jo’s retreat is available, book it! You will be glad you did. We will definitely be back!
