We love this house. The location is excellent, close to restaurants, activities, shopping, yet quiet and private. We walked the neighborhood every morning, visited area beaches, fished off the dock and enjoyed sitting by the pool. The house is impeccably clean and well equipped for our needs. The host is responsive and communicative. Any questions or issues were answered or resolved ver promptly. I highly recommend this house and host.

House was perfect for a family with young children for a relaxing stay in Punta Gorda. Close to Fisherman’s village and restaurants. We loved the pool (especially since it had a screen to prevent our kids from entering without supervision). Beds were comfortable and kitchen well stocked. Host was proactive and responsive. We would definitely stay again and loved the serenity of being located on the canal. Perfect for a family vacation!

The house was very nice and clean. Joe was extremely responsive to any communication. Minor issues with the electronic lock but it was handled quickly. Make sure to bring your own water / coffee etc. That was one thing that would have been nice but certainly not a problem. We did not cook on our short trip but it looked like the necessary items were there. Overall, great experience, and the hosts are super nice and accommodating.

This house was perfect for our large family to spend time together at. They were on top of any hiccups we came across. It was nice to be on the waterway to connect to the bay. The pool and hottub was a nice perk along with being able play pool any time.

We had a lovely time staying here. The house was clean, with a great, well outfitted kitchen and comfortable and roomy living room. The bedrooms are small but functional. The pool and lanai were lovely. The pool isn’t heated but we were able to have fun swimming in February. Our kids had so much fun fishing off the dock into the canal. We loved going to the beaches at Manasota Key, Gasparilla Island, Nokomis and Siesta Key! It’s a great little house if you just want to relax around the pool or if you’re looking to explore the local beaches. We found lots of beautiful options within an hour drive.

Amazing place. We had wonderful time here, felt like at home. House was very clean. My nephew loved Pokémon game in the living room. A lot of toys for kids. We spent most of the time playing games, fishing and kayaking. Cj is a wonderful host, very responsive. I would definitely recommend this place, and I hope we will stay here again.

From the welcoming basket of goodies to the great coffee bar, this was a great place to stay. We enjoyed the quiet of the home and the convenience to local restaurants and shopping. The kitchen had all we needed to cook with when we wanted to stay in for a meal. This was a very nice place to stay - we would come back here if we are in the area!

The MOST well-stocked and furnished AirBnB we've ever stayed at. You need cleaning supplies? They're here. You need paper products? Fully stashed. Literally EVERYTHING we wanted or needed was conveniently found in the house. We were both very impressed and very appreciative. The house was well maintained, clean, and even the neighbors were extremely friendly. A+++ for everything. One note, however, it's that while sitting in the sunroom relaxing, you'll hear continuous road noise from the highway across the canal. It isn't "vacation ruining" or NYC street noise, but it's there. If we would have had kids or a dog with us, it might not have been noticed whatsoever, but since we're quiet people, it was apparent. Would we stay again? Definitely. Great location and really enjoyed the house. Thanks!

We enjoyed our time at Mike and Patty’s! Very nice accommodations! Loved having the kayaks, bikes and beach stuff there to use! Very short walk to the beach. Within walking distance to restaurants.

Mike’s place was just as described, clean and tidy. Best part was one block walk to the beach, especially this year when the main Englewood beach and parking lot was closed due to previous hurricane. Owners were very responsive and accommodating. Everything you need for the beach including well functioning carts to pull your stuff. Outdoor shower was handy for washing sand off after. The garage for bike storage, golf, clubs, etc. and two full capacity washers and dryers is a bonus. As noted in listing, unit two is upstairs using an outside stairway, might be an issue for older folks. Really enjoyed our stay.

Absolutely fantastic stay! This Airbnb is a gem, located just 8 minutes away from the beach, making it incredibly convenient for beach lovers. The cleanliness of the place is impeccable – it was super duper clean and well-maintained. The hosts have thought of everything you could possibly need during your stay. From a fully stocked kitchen to cozy linens and even beach gear, they've got it all covered. The attention to detail and thoughtful amenities truly made our stay comfortable and enjoyable. Very nice place to stay. Perfect location to the beaches and nice restaurants/hang out spots that were very close. Very quiet and peaceful. September is a quiet month - not lots of tourists. Lovely place that was clean and nicely decorated. My only issue was that the shower water never got above luke warm. I like hot showers. Otherwise, very nice place to stay. I would definitely recommend.

Loved our stay!!! The weather didn’t cooperate, so we appreciated the amazing home. The communication was great, we coordinated the water taxi & check in time. The place is perfectly simple, well stocked, and felt like home. Loved having the extras for the few things I forgot. We are looking forward to staying there again! The drop off dock & beach are a quick walk either way! If you’re looking to stay on LGI, she was the perfect hostess to walk you thru how it works from the water taxi, grocery information, and all the “need to know’s” to make your stay unforgettable!!

Amazing House and Hosts!!! The pool and lake are a real gem. We had a lot of rain and couldn't go out much, but there was so much to do at the house that we had a wonderful time. The garage has a lot to do and all the beach equipment you could dream of. We ended up having a scary health situation arise and Stu and Catherine were so helpful and responsive. I would recommend them as hosts to anyone, the house was so well stocked, even with toddler/baby options, the guest book had so much useful information about the area, and they were always a message away if we had questions. We're looking forward to booking them for a vacation again next year!
