Only word i have….is AMAZING…exactly how pictures look and people say. Plenty of yard..dogs loved it…very clean, host very friendly and responsive. Will recommend to everyone and will be back

Rocky Acres is a charming little cottage tucked in one of the few seemingly flat area up a mountain side. We were greeted with many deer the first morning there (around 15 or 16). I enjoyed petting amd talking to the horses there. Later on, we wandered up the path to the very large moss covered boulders there on the property. We found prickly pear cactus nestled in the moss there. This place seemed to be pulled from a fairytale. The house is just 10 mins or so from Desota Park and not very far at all from Desota Falls, Little River Falls,1 a and Fort Payne. GPS doesn't recognize the adress. It brought us to the end of the road, but no farther. However, Derek had sent detailed instructions, and we found the house with no problems. We had a minor problem come up, and Derek fixed it very quickly. The road to the house is steep and a bit rough, but we took it slow and made it fine. We definitely would stay here again.

My family and I had a great stay. The cabin was amazing and cozy. It featured all amenities needed and more. Easy instruction upon arrival and departure. My family plans on making this an annual trip moving forward. We had a great time!! Thank you Jacob for being so accommodating. We look forward to our next visit.

This is an amazing and cosy cabin with tonnes to do, and with a well stocked kitchen and bathroom. We came as a group of 8, and although it was a little snug at times, we loved it and had a great time. We would highly recommend it!

Magical Christmas Getaway Our family of 20 had the most incredible Christmas at this charming farmhouse! Spacious yet cozy, it perfectly accommodated us with a well-appointed kitchen, beautifully decorated rooms, and amazing customer service from the hosts. The festive decor (including a gorgeous tree) and outdoor firepit made it extra special. Every detail was thoughtfully designed, making it the perfect setting for unforgettable holiday memories. I literally booked around lunch time on Friday for a last minute weekend trip. Cathleen was super fast to respond and gave us great recommendations including Granny’s D fried pies at the Farmers Market…yummy! Beautiful surroundings and so peaceful. The screened back porch with fire table and tv (we used for music) was amazing. Perfect for relaxation and soul searching!
