Kevin reached out prior to our visit to make sure we had all the information we needed. Upon our arrival, we were greeted by little signs, welcoming us, as well as our dog, by name! The beach-themed decor is super cute! The gated deck area and the screened in porch were great for us and our dog. The community is very welcoming and friendly. Having access to the golf cart was helpful and convenient. We enjoyed the pools and Jacuzzi in the community area. Although it rained all week during our stay, we were able to find fun things to do in Myrtle Beach, such as Ripley’s aquarium, the house of mirrors and the haunted house. We highly recommend crabby Mike’s seafood buffet as a fun place to eat. The thermostat on the AC broke during our stay. Kevin was at the door within about 30 minutes and it was fixed by a professional within two hours. We really appreciated his responsiveness! Kevin and Janet were excellent hosts and we enjoyed our stay at the playful pelican very much!

John got back to me quickly when I had any questions. I could get ahold of him anytime. The place was perfect for our families-enough beds for everyone (8). Plenty of towels and the golf cart was in great shape.

Unit accurately described. Clean, great location no complaints. Only negative at first we didn’t see the instructions on how to enter the unit on the Airbnb email. Called the owner but they never called back-minor issue and only issue otherwise everything was great.

This place was perfect. It was centrally located, easy to get to, dog friendly and had everything anyone would need on a trip. We were there for work and couldn’t have had a better stay. Lindsey and Thomas were so responsive with any questions I had. The staff also was super nice. We will definitely be booking again for future work trips!

I booked this beach trip to take my elderly dog to the beach for the first time. Amazing that Maria has everything for your dog there.

This place exceeded our expectations! From the beginning, Matthew was very communicative and helpful. Check in was easy and the place was pristine! We loved drinking our morning coffee on the front porch overlooking the colorful azaleas. My kids loved the 2 twin bedroom and walking to the golf course. The pool was not open yet but is a great amenity to have so close by. It was a super easy, short drive to the Marsh Walk where we enjoyed food and drinks. If I ever find myself in Murrells Inlet I will stay here again and I would recommend to everyone!

Eric and Leslie's cottage was in perfect condition and in the best location for our needs (close to pool, tennis, golf, and wedding we were in town for). Their instructions were so detailed and the binder left on the counter had everything and more. We really appreciated the organization, convenience, and friendly response. Thank you both! Hope to be back soon.

Our family felt very much at home here. They had everything there to make your stay so enjoyable. Joe was there to greet us when we arrived and was super nice! Thank you for a wonderful stay. Joe even came over the next day after I told him the lights hanging in the trees weren’t working. He definitely went above and beyond!

Very cute, modern and convenient, walk to the beach. Had a great stay, Clyde was great with communication and we loved being able to take our dogs along. Awesome fall trip to the beach, would definitely recommend and would like to return.

Overall everything was great, no complaints about the actual unit. The reason we gave 4/5 stars for “easy to find” is because the address we received was to Ocean Lakes, not the unit’s address. The check-in process was a bit confusing.

We loved staying at Bruce‘s place! It was just far away enough from the boardwalk, about 3 miles or 10 minutes, to be nice and quiet, but was also a super easy and close walk to the beach! He had everything we needed for the beach and a handy wagon to get it there in! He was responsive and gave great local recommendations including a fishing charter and restaurants!

We loved our stay at this home in Myrtle Beach. Marty was very responsive and helpful if we needed something. The home was very clean and comfortable. There is even a golf cart provided which is wonderful to get around the very large campground the home is situated in. It was a 1-2 minute golf cart ride to the beach. The campground has everything you need and it even has security which is a reassuring feeling. The home has everything you need for your stay including a toaster, coffee maker and blender! We are already talking about coming back to stay again. We loved the fact we could bring our dogs with us and look forward to coming back!

My husband and I had the absolute best time at Linda’s Beach Cottage at OIB! As soon as we walked through the door childhood memories flooded back, we have finally found our home away from home. We absolutely adored the outside areas and the warm homey feeling of the cottage. We didn’t cook this stay, but I was so impressed that the kitchen was fully equipped and loved the gas stove. I can see so many future memories to be made at the downstairs seating around the gas fire pit while we fish off the dock! Beach is a 3 minute walk and so many restaurants under a 10 minute walk. Everyone was so friendly and the neighborhood was impeccable. We cannot wait to come back to the Beach Cottage with our family every year!

This was our 2nd time to stay at Sara's place. 2 wks the 1st time and 3 wks this time. This really says it all . The beach is a 7 minute walk. Golf and restaurants are within minutes. The accommodation is great. 1 bedroom with all the things you need. Sara is a wonderful host. Unfortunately our paths did not cross this time, but she responses immediately to any communication. Once again this year, Sara's place was the perfect match to all our needs.

Great location, communication from the owner and peaceful. With a spacious yard for pets. Grocery store and restaurants right around the corner. Highly recommended.

Janet was GREAT! She was very responsive to our needs. The home is cute and just as pictured. The neighborhood was very quiet. This our new favorite location for Myrtle Beach!! Can’t wait to stay again!!

We had a great time here for New Years. It’s clean, comfortable, and a great location! We were able to walk to mini golf, and there’s a playground that’s about a ten minute walk away that our son enjoyed. We brought our dog with us and even though there really isn’t much of a yard, there’s a side walk right across the street that’s great for dog walks. We would stay here again.

We had a fantastic stay at Janet’s Retreat. We’ve been coming to Holden for years and think this is one of the best parts of the island—the beach access was fantastic and the beach wasn’t crowded, even on a popular week. Easy bike access to Bridgeview Park and other destinations. The house truly felt like home, and the owners were easy to work with and responsive to messages. Washer and dryer were convenient, the outdoor shower was perfect (one of my favorite things about the beach), there were bikes, boogie boards, chairs, a beach shade: everything we needed. A truly great week.

This is the most wonderful Airbnb I have had the pleasure to stay at. The house is in pristine condition and soooo comfortable. It's in a wonderful location, close to the beach, grocery stores, and restaurants. I don't have enough good things to say, we can't wait to come back.

My wife and I had a fantastic weekend staying at Lisa’s property. From start to finish, everything exceeded our expectations. The communication with Lisa was smooth and prompt. The location is PERFECT! I watched the sun rise in bed every morning. We enjoyed exploring the area and found plenty of great restaurants. There was a little confusion regarding if bikes would be available, so Lisa paid for my bike rental at Julie’s Rentals, which I said was not necessary, but she did anyway. Overall, our experience was AMAZING! We cannot recommend Lisa and her property highly enough. Thank you for such a memorable stay, we will definitely be back.

Our stay was pure relaxation, which is exactly what we needed. The back deck was beautiful. There was a constant breeze and you could watch the waves break into the Cherry Grove Inlet. The hot tub was awesome but you will find yourself glued to the back deck, if relaxation is what you seek.

This is our second time staying at Robert's place. The location is perfect! The house was cute and clean and plenty of space. We'll definitely be back!

We had a great time at Jo's place! The place was very nice and clean. Beds were very comfortable nice memory foam on them. The kitchen and bathrooms exceeded our expectations, the couch was my favorite (even talking my hubby to get one very similar 😄) we really enjoyed spending time resting and relaxing at this place. Coffee maker and coffee was very nice. We enjoyed relaxing on the screened in porch. The host was amazing with communication. This is by far one of the best Airbnb's we have stayed at.
