While getting there, you will drive down a 2 mile gravel road that's peacefully lined with trees and swamp before it meets the pavement to the neighborhood. Once you enter the neighborhood, you will instantly feel at ease and in vacation mode. When you walk upstairs, you will be greeted by the Amite River and serene trees.

The Colonel’s Inn

Built in 1929, this old cozy country home was built with a country store. In the 50’s they were joined. A big room was added to the store portion, and is now a very unique meeting hall that features live music on occasion. Not part of the inn rental, but this space can be rented as well.
