Really great place to stay and well located for Chester, ice cream farm, zoo and bewilderwood. Place was as described though larger than expected, beds were comfortable, enough crockery etc in the kitchen. Great place to stay.

Myself and my partner really enjoyed our stay in the wagon at Waterside.If you want some time to switch off completely then definitely choose Janet's place! The hot tub is great and stays hot once it is fired up! Such a gorgeous, peaceful break away!

Margaret's farm cottage is absolutely wonderful. We have just spent Christmas there with all the family and has a really good time. The cottage is spacious and light with wonderful views over the countryside. The kitchen is extremely well equipped making cooking the Christmas dinner a pleasure. It's great for a family; there is a sitting area downstairs in the open plan kitchen/dining area, and then a big comfy lounge upstairs, so you can be sociable or hide away quietly if you prefer. Having four bathrooms was a great luxury and the games room really topped the whole things off, lots of fun. There are 2 smaller cottages also, so ideal if there are family members who want more privacy or if your family is just bigger than 10! We walked to the pub in the village on boxing day, which was a lovely easy walk and the pub and village are well worth a visit. Margaret was very friendly, helpful and always responsive. I highly recommend this place for family holidays.

A beautiful place to stay inside and out. The house is finished to a very high standard, with a lovely kitchen with a big table, and comfy bedrooms. There's a nice outside space with a table and a friendly horse in the next field. The surrounding countryside is beautiful. Rhian was a responsive and friendly host. We will definitely come back again!

Cerys and the other hosts were super accommodating as well as being so lovely and helpful! We had the best stay at their amazing home, the view from the patio was breathtaking and so peaceful. We really enjoyed being able to use the indoor fire as well as outside. Everything was super clean and the shower/bath was so relaxing. Location is so close to everything you would possibly want to do in North Wales. One of the days we run out of gas for the boiler and Cerys was so helpful and managed to get us another gas canister in a short amount of time was so kind about it. Would definitely recommend staying at this beautiful home, would love to return again. Thanks again!

Beautiful location and great place, the only downside is no enclosed garden for the dogs as the cottage is on a busy main road

We had the most lovely holiday at King Grove. The spotless cottage was very welcoming to walk into, full of polished wood, ornaments and pictures with a teapot, milk and biscuits all ready for us after a long journey. There is a great wood burning stove, comfortable sofas, cosy beds, and absolute peace and quiet. We slept so well! There was everything we could need in the cottage, including information on walks and a tempting collection of intriguing books. King Grove is set in a beautiful hidden valley in a wider area of stunning Shropshire landscape. We spent our days walking and visiting castles! Leena and Geoff live next door and they have designed their wonderful garden so that guests have plenty of private seating areas. They are very friendly and easy to communicate with. We can’t wait to return.
