We rented this cabin on the fly (literally) my husband and I were looking for quick getaways for a much needed vacation and time away from the norm and it was my bday weekend as well. We had never heard of Burton, TX or Log Country Cabins and are both Texas natives but we are so glad that we came across it on our search and decided to give it a try. The cabin itself was just as described and looked like the photos online and the location of the cabin was amazing. The views were amazing, access to the lake and creek for fishing was just steps away from the cabin and the common area and peaceful park were just steps away too. The weather was perfect and it was not peak season so it also felt secluded and private and not too crowded which is what we were looking for! We had an amazing time disconnecting from the everyday and re connecting with each other! We enjoyed every bit of it & will be returning soon!!

Perfect, quiet, relaxing stay. This is a “mostly” off the grid kind of stay so keep that in mind if you’re a big internet user. We loved being able to actually “unplug” for a bit. Highly recommended!!

I had a fantastic stay at this Airbnb! The host was incredibly responsive and helpful throughout my entire trip. The place was exactly as described in the listing, with comfortable accommodations and clean facilities. I especially appreciated the privacy and the great in-house amenities, including the pool and games. It was the perfect spot to relax and unwind after a long day. The office staff was also very helpful and accommodating. There were tons of amenities surrounding the office, making it easy to find everything I needed. The grounds were beautifully maintained and provided a peaceful atmosphere. Overall, I would highly recommend this Airbnb to anyone looking for a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

We spent Christmas at Brooke’s place and she thought of everything. The lake, water toys and beautiful sunsets were a hit with everyone. Everything was as described and ready for us! Would definitely recommend. Thank you🎄

Beautiful and peaceful location. Close to Inks Lake State Park, Kingsland, and the Perissos Winery. Great place for kids and dogs.

Nice cozy little cabin. There were 6 cats on the property that were friendly and loved to be fed and pet. Hot tub was nice and it was quiet and relaxing. Bed was comfortable and the stars were amazing out there with very little light pollution. Only 20 minutes from downtown Fredericksburg. Only thing to be aware of is there is no stove or oven here. We planned accordingly being there for Christmas with not much open, we had to bring microwave friendly meals. There is a charcoal grill and cast iron pans that you could cook with also.

Sharan was very accommodating! Would stay here again if in the area. Very comfortable place to stay. Had everything we needed!

Great place for a getaway. I would say the only downside is that the cabin is close to a the main road so you can hear the cars passing but other than that it was a great way to connect with nature and find some peace while sipping on some nice wine. Would definitely recommend!

WOW!!! This place is so cool!! It is exactly as described! We throughly enjoyed ourselves!!!! There aren't too many bad reviews but the ones there are crack me up! Yes, it is a lake house, pretty much right on the water... There will be spiders out on the decks! The water level is not always the same but definitely fishable, kayakable, swimable and beautiful!!! There are A LOT of steps inside and out! It is build on the side of a hill... also should be expected!! And yes there may be a loose rock or two here and there! This place has everything you could need as far as kitchen supplies and bathroom supplies! The fact they supply so many kayaks is soooo awesome! 👏 The weather was so perfect this weekend we didn't even use the ac units, just had the windows cracked and it was so comfortable! Love that our mini dachshund was welcome and he had a blast on the kayak!!!! We will return and bring friends to enjoy it with! :)

I can’t say enough about this place. It was quiet, beautiful, peaceful. It’s def a ranch. So if that’s jets you’re looking for. Look no further. We spent hours exploring and driving around. Great host and great place.

One of our new favs on the Llano River! Exactly as described and what we wanted. Lovely section of the river and east access. Perfect distance to hit our favs in Llano and Kingsland. River exploring was awesome and we all enjoyed it! House is so cute, cozy and very clean. Laura was a wonderful and kind host. Beds were amazing, couch was so comfortable and the kitchen table was perfect for our monopoly game. We didn’t cook but kitchen was nicely appointed, picnic table under the trees was our favorite for lunch before exploring the river. The property and house were lovely and well setup and thought out. We enjoyed on stay and we’d love to stay again!

We had a fantastic time during our stay! The cabin's location offered a stunning view and was in a great spot. We were pleased to find the cabin exceptionally clean and neat upon our arrival. The owner maintained excellent communication throughout our trip, which was incredibly helpful. Overall, I highly recommend this place for a family getaway—it’s the perfect spot to spend quality time at the cabin.

What a wonderful, secluded cabin to escape to. Andrea was an excellent host. The cabin surroundings were quiet and full of nature. Mornings and evenings were spent watching the variety of birds around the creek and deer and cattle among the ranch grounds. I would recommend this cabin to anyone for a quiet getaway.

We loved staying in the cabin. The place was so private and quaint. A perfect location for anyone wanting/needing to get away from it all. From playing in the river (direct access on the property), walking to the general store for a beer and burger (the friendliest people there, we felt like family), to stargazing from the teepee down by the river. The place is amazing! And just a short drive with beautiful scenery to Fredricksburg. We will definitely be back!!

Great place to stay! Clean, fun, loved using the paddle boats! The sunflower was super clean from the bedding to the bathroom to the kitchen. Can’t wait to return!
