Went away for Easter weekend with my partner and doggo! Gemma and family greeted us on arrival showed us around and left us be 🙂 they were always close if we needed anything! The place was so lovely and clean like a home away from home! Hot tub was lovely 🥰

Absolutely beautiful place in such a beautiful setting. My hubby and I felt very at home here. Our two little dogs loved it. The beach barn was spotless. The photos of the place are true to what it's like, however, if you're organised like us and think of bringing along coffee pods as you've seen photos of the machine so to not use all of the host's pods. Be aware it is not a Dolce Gusto machine, they now have a Tassimo. Don't fall into buying the wrong pods like we did by looking at the photos🤦‍♀️😂 A very short walk to The Captain's Wife pub and 1988 Indian, the food at both of these places is lovely and definitely worth trying! Lots of things to do and places to see whilst here. We drove to the Barrages walking over to Cardiff Bay, definitely worth a visit and also try Cosmeston Lakes Country Park, lovely walk around there and the medieval village. Barry Island beach is also perfect, it's lovely, clean, and perfect for dogs! We'd love to return the beach barn again in the future.

Lovely, cosy cottage in a beautiful part of the Brecon Beacons. Quiet and peaceful location next to a stream, with local amenities near by and two nice oubs. Kim was brilliant at communication and we appreciated the Easter chick gift on our daughters bed :) thank you

We had a really great stay. The house was well equipped and super cosy. The beds were comfortable and we enjoyed the lovely big bath. The location is absolutely fab, being less than 5 mins walk to two lovely pubs. A highlight was the bbq hut which we had so much fun cooking in and also using the fire pit and spending the evening under the stars. I am sure we will be back.

We had the most amazing time staying at this charming country cottage on a peaceful farm. It was the perfect mix of comfort, nature, and the hot tub! The cottage was clean, cozy, and had everything we needed—including a well-equipped kitchen and a fire pit for bbq’s! Paul is a great host being incredibly welcoming and thoughtful, making sure we had everything we needed for a great stay. Highly recommend this spot for families looking to unplug and reconnect in a beautiful, down-to-earth setting, walking distance to pubs and 20 minutes drive to Brean beach which our son loved. We’ll definitely be back!

We had a lovely family break and felt very at home. The cottage is beautiful and the hosts very friendly and welcoming. They left us information about the area and places to visit. We have already recommended the cottage to friends.

We had such a great few days at Valley View Cottage. Valley walks minutes from the doorstep (albeit a bit tricky to get onto main track with kids and bikes!) and beaches half an hour drive. We were blessed with amazing weather so we were able to get out and about. Also nice to meet the lovely neighbours and get to watch Pontycymer RFC win the league undefeated!! The whole family loved it!

We had a great stay. The location was perfect as it was easy walking distance to the centre of Cardiff. Despite being so central the street was extremely quiet. The house had everything we needed and was clean and comfortable. We will definitely stay again next time we come to Cardiff. Exceptional value.

Karen was very helpful throughout our short stay and very responsive to questions. The cabin is a very cute place to stay, but only for a short stay. We loved it for a long weekend, but don’t feel it would be suitable for a longer stay, due to lack of clothes hanging and cooking facilities. It is also very draughty (through the front door), so whilst sitting watching tv it was quite chilly, but with blankets on and the log burner on, we made it cosy, but not sure how we’d feel about staying there in the winter, but for a spring/summer break it is lovely. Views from the cabin are beautiful.
