Amazing cottage that is well equipped with everything you would need. The grounds are beautiful and well kept and the additional access to the facilities in the Abbey is such a delight. Everything is close by and for outdoor adventures you cannot have a better base. We loved it!

Heerlijk plekje en mooie omgeving. Het was lastig om aan de sleutel van het huisje te komen, maar daarna was alles perfect. We hebben zelfs een rondleiding gekregen. Zwembad en gym. Restaurant op het terrein.

5 Star stay. The 2 story space was immaculate and updated. Kitchen had all the utensils you need. It was also stocked with essentials (i.e. salt, paper,oil, tea , coffee, spices,etc. The TV and internet were flawless. Linens/towels top notch and were cleaned weekly. The grounds of the Highland Club and view of Lochness were stunning. Thank you Charles for the Champagne and milk.

We had a lovely stay, we will definitely return! Communication was great and the views are amazing. It was very clean and there are comfy beds.

The place was beyond our expectations. The views are incredible and it felt so private and peaceful. Inside the house was beautiful, very cozy but modern and they had thought of everything. The kitchen had lots of bits that meant you could cook proper meals which was lovely. Felt right at home and would reccomend it to anyone looking for comfort and tranquility.

Diane’s place is the ideal spot for a peaceful, picturesque getaway to the Isle of Skye. My friends and I used the kitchen a lot and it had everything we needed. The beds were cozy and everything was clean. And seeing the sheep everyday was an added bonus and so fun! Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a nice place to stay on the isle of Skye. Just know that the closest grocery store is 45 minutes away, so just get groceries before you arrive.

Carol & Allan 's Place was amazing!! We loved the house, it had everything we needed and more! The area was beautiful and peaceful. We drove all over and saw the most incredible scenery! We met Carol & Allan on our last night, and they are so lovely!! You cannot ask for a better place to stay!! Rodney

Our family of seven stayed at Daniel's house in Broadford for ten days. We were all very happy with the cleanliness of the house, tranquility of the surrounding area and Daniel and his father John's proactivity - they went above and beyond to make our stay the very best it could have been and helped us resolve an unfortunate situation after our ferry was cancelled. The property accommodated all seven of us happily and was even more beautiful and spacious than the pictures suggested. We were able to find everything we needed, including board games, books and records. The fireplace was a nice touch and warmed us up after long (and sometimes rainy) days of exploration. The nearby grocery store was very well stocked with plenty of vegan and vegetarian options. Overall, we all would highly recommend Daniel's house as a perfect base for exploring all peninsulae of the Isle of Skye!

Quiet area just a 5 minute walk to the center of town, extremely clean and well kept! Very comfortable

Felt like home. We stayed at Braes Retreat for four weeks and we loved every minute. The location is great for travelling around Skye as it’s pretty central but it still has that quiet isolation that most people come to Skye looking for. The house has everything you need, it’s very clean and comfy and Iain and Ingrid are great hosts to help you out with any issues. As all the other reviews say, the garden is spectacular, the views are beautiful and it’s generally a really lovely place to stay.

Me and my partner stayed for one night and can only be described as felt like at home. The living room is very “cosy” with all the amenities you could need to enjoy an evening relaxing. We had been out checking the surrounding area and arrived around 7pm, we were delighted to find the property was pre heated along with immediate hot water. The property was very clean and overall we have no complaints. Sarah was a great host and we would stay here again if we are back in the area.

This is a great home in which to stay! Clean, spacious, with all the amenities, and more. We especially appreciated having a place with both a washer and dryer. Our family of six was very comfortable here.

Our stay at Half of One was absolutely incredible. After arriving in less than favorable weather we were able to fully enjoy the property and its incomparable views during our stay. The location was in the perfect area to venture out and take in all the sites around Skye while still being close to Portree to take advantage of the shops and restaurants in town. Half of One was the perfect place for us to get out of the city and relax. The house and studio offered all the amenities we could need during our stay and felt like a home away from home. We will absolutely be recommending Half of One to anybody visiting Skye. P.S. Don't be afraid to shoo the sheep out of the way as you drive down the path to the house. They're more afraid of you than you are of them.

Stayed here during a trip with 6 friends traveling all throughout Scotland and this was definitely our favorite place to stay throughout the entire trip. The AirBnb was wonderful. It had everything we needed and felt cozy and right at home. We all agreed we got the best sleep of our trip at this stop. The host, Alexandra, was extremely helpful in letting us check-in early and providing us with a ton of recommendations for nearby activities. The house itself was lovely. Beautiful view of the water (that had seals right up by us!) Absolutely would love to stay here again and would recommend it to anyone.

We stayed for 3 nights and were very impressed. Everything was immaculately clean. Well stocked with cooking equipment you might need. Very quiet and peaceful location with easy parking. Front door access required a couple of steps from car park or back door just 1 step. All new appliances , bathroom and kitchen. Top quality white towels and bedding. Great communication. Many thanks we will be back.

We loved Julie’s place! Location was perfect, walking distance to everything in Fort Augustus and a great base from which to explore the Highlands. The house is beautiful, incredibly comfortable and very spacious for the 6 of us. Julie provided a great welcome with treats and even crackers ready for our Christmas meal. The kitchen is very well equipped. Nice garden and plenty of space for parking. Very highly recommended, would love to come back.

Strathspey was amazing! The home was beautiful! Loved all the decor and the views were stunning, even in the foggy, rainy weather conditions!! Very welcoming and comfortable! The hosts gave great recommendations for things to see and places to eat! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!
