We have stayed in 63 Air Bnbs and I must say that Deborah’s is the most luxurious. The interior decor would do well in a magazine. From the plush cushions on the super comfortable sofa, to the beautiful lamps, pictures, vases, and ornaments. We loved all the nods to Scottish culture. The kitchen was well appointed and the dinnerware stunning. The master bedroom was sumptuous. Stunning decor, linen and beautiful styling. The bed was super comfy too. The bathroom is magnificent with shower and jacuzzi bath and so many extra touches. Thank you Deborah for all the hard work you have put into making us feel like royalty! Also for the sandwiches, cake, milk, chips, chocolates. You certainly deserve nothing under 5 stars, and we would give you 10 if we could.

A gorgeous, cosy little place perfectly located for exploring the beautiful surrounding area either on foot or as we did by bikes. Emerald cottage was spotlessly clean with all the amenities you could need. Julie and Paul were brilliant hosts, super friendly and responsive to any queries we had. I would definitely recommend to anyone thinking about visiting 👍🏼

The place was great,spotless,peaceful and had great tv. the bed was so comfy,room spotless. the only thing I would say is need a wee lamp in bedroom. all the house was amazingly clean and fresh. Nice touch to have tea and coffee with milk there for us. Sher was easy to contact and replied quickly. would make a great base to travel from. we will return. thanks Sher

Such a lovely place to stay in a beautiful quiet village. The flat had everything we needed & we felt at home straightaway, good WiFi. Julie was a friendly host who met us & walked us over to the flat when we arrived, showing us around. I would definitely stay here again, it was perfect!

Joanna made my booking and stay stress free and surprised us with a lovely thoughtful welcome gift. The caravan was immaculate and spacious for us to have a relaxing few days celebrating family.

I rented Paul's accommodation for 7 weeks in total and it was lovely, clean and very handy for our tour during their rehearsal period. I shall definitely book again for more rehearsals in Jan/Feb/March 2025. Paul was also very responsive if we needed anything. I would highly recommend this house.

Couldn’t recommend enough. We stayed for a weekend, 5 adults and 5 kids. The house is well equipped and has modern kitchen and bedrooms. All the instructions for when you arrive are really easy with no problems. Definitely would stay again.

The cottage was easy to find and had good access. It was warm when we arrived which made it feel welcoming. The rooms were spacious, well laid out and had plenty of storage. The living room had plenty of comfy seating. It was very clean and had attractive decor throughout. The bedding was fabulous! It was fully equipped with everything you need. There was easy access to Dumfries and had lovely views all round. Milk was found in the fridge on arrival along with tea, coffee and sugar and the obligatory Scottish shortbread, which was yummy! Had a great stay - highly recommend!

So glad we found this gem ! Perfect for our short stay while visiting family in Ayr. Beautiful and generously spaced property stylishly furnished. It was the cleanest Airbnb we have stayed at so far. Little touches (coffee, tea etc) were very much appreciated. Marcus was very responsive and communicated brilliantly. We felt very at home here and will hopefully be back.

L’ancienne école a été très bien restaurée. Elle est décorée avec du cachet mais juste ce qu’il faut. Elle est également très agréable à vivre. Nous l’avons réservée pour une seule nuit mais elle mériterait d’y passer plus de temps. Je recommande

We spent 3 nights here with our 2 dogs & felt very at home, Nordlys had everything we needed for our stay incl little dog tags for your dogs to use which was such a thoughtful idea, I loved it. Although the cottage was still a little chilly inside the fires soon made the rooms feel like little snugs cosy and warm, loved our stay and would definitely recommend to everyone.

We spent a lovely few days at cleugh cottage and it was just beautiful. The decor is very well thought out and in keeping with this unique property. We were completely comfortable and able to relax. There were some lovely touches like the fresh lillies throughout the house along with a bottle of prosecco on arrival. The hot tub was one of our favourite things about our stay as the view over the woodlands and burn was just stunning. Great host who is very responsive. Wouldn't hesitate to book again.

From the moment it was booked, Gemma kept in contact with me. Brilliant location and Gemma even left us some goodies out which was a lovely touch and made us feel right at home. Beautiful place thank you.

Had a great stay at Mandy's cottage. She was a fantastic host very helpful for any questions we had about the area or public transport in the area etc. Would recommend 👍🏻

We have just returned home after a wonderful few days spent at The Annexe. The apartment was absolutely stunning and spotlessly clean and the furnishings are clearly of a high standard. Every care has been taken by the hosts to ensure that guests have a restful and comfortable stay. The complimentary breakfast on our last morning was a very thoughtful touch. A really wonderful place with an incredible view to the Isle of Arran. Great facilities and comfortable beds. Janice was a great host.

James was very attentive and friendly. When we had a problem he arrived within minutes. The flat was spacious and had recently been modernised with new kitchen and bathroom. We chose this accommodation as we were at the Jazz Festival and were only a few minutes away from the venues and the town centre. Have no reservations in recommending this accommodation

Lovely little apartment located in Portinscale, coffee shop/ day time restaurant over the street and the Farmers Arms pub approx 500yrds down the road. Great spot for walking only 50 mins to the base of Cat Bells and 25 minute walk into the centre of Keswick. Great little apartment for 2, nice comfy bed and shower, good cooking utensils, nespresso coffee maker with a selection of coffee pods supplied and some locally sourced ginger biscuits and a selection of speciality teas. There was a Smart TV so you can log into your own accounts for Netflix and Prime, ITVX. We were lucky as during our stay we had glorious weather which was fantastic during early April for walking and eating outside restaurants in Keswick. Definitely recommend for a short break in the lakes, also worth noting the apartment has private off road. parking. We hopefully will be back in the future.

Warm and cosy with a great shower. The living and sitting room are small but absolutely useable. The bathroom is warm and light and the bedroom is large with lots of storage. Having stayed in many places in the area I would stay here again just for the value for money. Its not the prettiest or most modern but its nice and clean, hot water and heat work well and its a great location. No noise in the bedroom at the back.

The property had everything we needed and more. Tracy has thought of everything. We were grateful for the welcome pack which included a lovely bottle of wine and tea, coffee, toiletries etc were provided. The beds were comfy and the apartment and was warm, cosy, modern and clean - exactly as described. Tracy is a great host and provided clear instructions for our stay.
