This house is beautiful, the best view with my morning coffee I’ve had in this country. And so much wildlife, we had deer at the front window regularly amoungst lots of other! The host was so helpful and even put a Christmas tree in the house for us over our stay… Which can’t of been easy with how rural you are! Looking forward to coming back to experience it all again in the summer

Es war sehr schön bei Margaret Ann. Der Ausblick vom Wohnzimmer auf das Meer war traumhaft und Margaret Ann war eine super Gastgeberin. Die Zimmer waren sauber und das Frühstück war sehr gut. Wir würden wiederkommen.

Just back from a long weekend at The Little House celebrating my husband's 70th birthday. The Little House has absolutely everything you could need and more, spotlessly clean, freshly decorated, comfortable, cosy and very well equipped. Peaceful and private, away from the main tourist drag in Glencoe/Ballachulish and just a few minutes to the beach and local walks. Mountains a mere fifteen minutes' drive away. I would recommend this place to anyone who wants to get away from it all! Well stocked Co-op and good Fish & Chip shop in Ballachulish.

This house was in a stunning location. Fit 8 of us very comfortably. Love that we all had our own bathrooms. Bathtub was awesome! Beds were all extremely comfortable. Fresh sheets and towels. I’ve given 5 stars for everything but there were a few things I think could be improved just in light of paying 900+ for two nights. There was a smell in the fridge when we arrived, shower head was broken in one of our rooms, there were some dirty dishes in the kitchen but maybe to do with dishwasher as we found it didn’t wash dishes very well? I know it seems pedantic but curtains were hanging off in the living room, mould on the ceilings and quite a few old looking spiders/webs. I know it’s rural but they looked like they’d been there a while. These complaints were minor and didn’t impact a fabulous stay. I just feel like combined they were worth mentioning as they are easy to fix for the next guest. Would stay here again definitely. Loved having our own wee beach.

Fantastic cottage in a beautiful location with everything we needed. We very much appreciated the welcome gifts of chocolates, wine and fruit, plus the groceries. Cosy, comfortable and quiet with great views. We would be happy to return.

Tolle Gegend, klasse Cottage. Pub um die Ecke, Einkaufsmöglichkeiten klein aber toll, alles, was man benötigt zu wirklich guten Preisen. Schöne Unterkunft mit zwei Schlafzimmern, gut ausgestatteter Küche, gemütliches Wohnzimmer. Parkplatz fürs Auto auf dem Grundstück. Würde jederzeit wiederkommen und das Cottage buchen. Herzlichen Dank an Howard, der ein toller Gastgeber war und immer sofort erreichbar.

We loved our stay here, the house & surroundings are beautiful. The photos of johns house were great but it’s actually more stunning in real life, we were so happy to stay here. It has everything you could need like a home from home and really don’t need to leave the property but it is great that there are 2 pubs within walking distance. The scenery and surrounding are just spectacular. John was very helpful and responded quickly when we contacted him. Highly recommend staying here. Thanks John, my family and I had a great time.

We have just stayed here for a full week in March and it is the perfect spot to explore the Isle of Mull. The Bothy is secluded and secure making it a very peaceful stay. There’s lots to do within a walking distance including walking through the estate and the coffee shop served delicious food. It was very cosy, very clean and very modern. There is no signal with all the doors closed but if you have a window open you can usually get a good signal. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay here again. Another added bonus is that we sometimes woke up to highland cows right outside our door!

It was a comfortable place to stay and Ali was a great host who endeavoured to resolve any inconveniences exist, even those not within her remit.

Fantastic relaxing stay in beautiful surroundings. Although there is not much to do in the village, Eileen and Rob had loads of suggestions for us and we did spend one day tripping around the island. Ord is a lovely place with a great seafront when the tide is out providing a brilliant space to watch seals. The property itself was clean and inviting, very homely and Rob and Eileen were always on hand for anything we needed, although we didn’t need much! 100% would stay again when visiting the Isle of Skye. Recommended for travellers wanting a quiet few days of relaxing with the chance to do some sightseeing from a comfy base.

Wonderful location and superb bungalow. And the view!!!! Perfect location for KIntail, Eilann Donan and Skye. And did I mention the view? Super comfy accommodation, truly excellent. And the evening sunsets... and the views at dawn. In case you didn't get it....THE VIEW!

Wonderful place to stay and really well equiped. Lovely to have the wood fire on in the evening. Comfy beds and everything was catered for. Some highlights include Glenelg Village (and the pub); some lovely walks; and if you get the opportunity to take the Glenelg Ferry to Skye don't miss it. There's also a lovely wee cafe at the ferry terminal that does a lovely coffee and home baked pasties (community run). Many thanks for your hospitality Sarah and family.

Great place to stay in Fort William, easy walk into town for bars and food.

We thoroughly enjoyed staying at Calum and Ian ‘a beautiful house. It really was a home from home and extremely comfortable for 4 people plus our 3 dogs. We were really spoilt with the luxurious bedding and furnishings. The surrounding area was breathtaking and it was ideally located to explore all that Scotland had to offer. We would highly recommend a stay here and the previous glowing reviews were definitely spot on! We can’t wait to book in and come again some time in the future.
