We had everything we needed during our stay! What stood out for us was the location with beautiful views and lots places to walk and cycle. We felt very relaxed after using the hot tub. I would highly recommend staying at this place if you would like to visit the Queen Elizabeth forest.

This is a gorgeous lodge to book. It is perfect for 2 couples to stay overnight with a separate lodge for each. The fire hut is a great place to relax and stay warm. The games room is fun. The hosts were lovely and very accommodating with great communication. The rooms were stunning and clean. There are massage chairs in each lodge which were amazing. The lodges are well equipped, there was an air fryer and coffee machine and Bluetooth speaker. I would highly recommend this place and would love to rebook in the future.

Had a wonderful overnight at Lawers Rest. Beautiful location and house had everything we needed. Very clear directions and instructions which were most helpful.

Thank you so much for providing such a welcoming, clean and peaceful place. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay & so lucky with the weather. The surrounding area is absolutely stunning. I brought my kayak and used it on the loch with friends. Just a few steps away from the lodge which was so handy. The hot tub was luxury and absolutely spotless. Loved every minute with my best friends.

we had a perfect stay at the woodcock lodge. The visitor information was extremely useful and both Ross and Dianne were extremely friendly and welcoming.

The cabin is a lovely location for a peaceful holiday in the countryside. The views are stunning and the walks around the site are very good. The hot tub was a nice feature, and we used it a few times while we were there.

What can i say..... booked for 2 days at the cabin early april, the sun was shining and it was just bliss. With a busy life style, to come to this cabin was relaxed, time slowed down, total chill out. My son loved the hot tub, my husband loved the sauna and i loved sitting on the veranda listening to the trickling water and the bird songs. We took the kayak, across the loch was a old castle (lots of info online on it) it was an adventure for my son. He loved the homemade swing down by the water, the local shop (cafe) and the bar area for a wee drink at night. We didnt use the car once, we had everything we needed. George was great, phoned me to see if arrived ok and was great at responding. The cabin had everthing we needed, it was warm and cozy. We didnt use the tv, didnt need it but it did have some more channels then just bbc1 to ch5 which was good, also good wifi. We will certainly be back.

Beautiful cabin, fantastic watching the light fail in the evening. We were blessed with perfect weather for walking, cycling and the wonderful beach at Knockvologan

We were looking for a cosy retreat, and we were not disappointed. Andrew’s place is beautiful and situated close to quiet woodland walks, perfect for those with dogs and/or an itch for nature. We were even lucky enough to see red squirrels, and deer. Would definitely come back!

Gareth was the most attentive host, and the house was a cosy home away from home, and perfectly located for walks.

Jackie and Jons lovely cabin was our cosy home while up in Scotland bagging some munros. The cabin was spotless and had absolutely everything we needed. Jackie and Jon were amazing hosts who were so helpful providing recommendations in the local area, and generally just lovely and friendly! Loved it so much that I opted to stay for a few extra nights and enjoy the rare Scottish sunshine! Could not recommend enough, I will definitely be back! ☺️

We loved our stay at Patrick’s cabin. The location was brilliant, secluded and quiet with facilities nearby. My kids and dog loved the cabin and our stay, I would definitely recommend this cabin.

Argyll Retreat is perfect. If you need to get away from it all, this is the place. This was our 4th stay, 2 wks this time. Me, I could quite happily spend the whole time here, just being in nature & watching the various birds & their eating habits. By the way that is a requirement of staying here, you must ensure the Bird feeders are always filled. The birds will come to tell you if you don't! Everything you need here. Fully equipped kitchen with breakfast bar, bathroom, double bedroom & store room for bags & cases etc. Lounge area is cosy with 2 2 seater settees, coffee table & TV. Best tho is the view from the window here. Looking out towards the Argyll Forest, the mountains, & wildlife. Nearest pub, The Coylet, 5 mins drive. Great food & staff, useful to book. Nearest town, Dunoon. Main rd there's Co-op & further in, Morrisons. Swallows Cafe - lovely food, can get very busy. Shops close on Monday. Boat Shed cafe, rd to Carrick Castle great food, hence gets busy. Inveraray lovely

Wir haben uns bei typisch schottischem Wetter wunderbar geborgen gefühlt. Sonnenschein läßt sich auf der Terrasse genießen. Die Hunde waren durch die Umzäunung gut gesichert und konnten das Grundstück erkunden.

Cabina davvero stupenda con una vista spettacolare! Lauren poi è un host fantastica, ci ha accolto molto calorosamente e ci ha dato tantissimi consigli, nonchè lasciato le uova fresche della sua gallina (adorabile, ogni mattina passava fuori la cabina a darci il buongiorno :). La cabina era caldissima al nostro arrivo, molto gradito in questo freddo periodo di novembre! Il posto è magnifico, perfetto per chi cerca un piccolo angolo di paradiso, lontano dalle luci artificiali della città, e in cui avere modo di ammirare benissimo le stelle e la natura, immersi nel silenzio. Puoi avvistare tanti animali selvatici (noi abbiamo avuto la fortuna non solo di vedere tante specie di uccelli, ma anche una lontra pescare e poi venire a farsi una passeggiata a riva non molto distante da noi!). La cabina è davvero adorabile, super confortevole, pulitissima, dotata di una doccia grande e un letto comodissimo. Un atmosfera bellissima all'interno e un alloggio attrezzato di tutto l'indispensabile

Sally’s place is an absolute haven in a beautiful setting. The chalet is cosy, comfortable, well equipped and beautifully decorated to a very high standard. View of the beach was like looking at a painting and it is very quiet. There are only a few other chalets nearby but it felt very private and peaceful and when we did see people they were very friendly. So much wildlife in Sally’s garden and nearby. Our daughter loved the rabbits and birds. We even saw red deer and lots of pheasants in the garden too. Sally was excellent for providing information and recommendations and she put up some lovely Halloween decorations and left some delicious provisions for us. The local shop is excellent - friendly patrons and well stocked and the food at the Tigh an Truish pub is excellent. So many lovely walks and places to explore and most of the time we didn’t see any other people. Really gorgeous place to stay and location. Amazing sky and we even saw the Milky Way. Loved the beach metres away.

Me and my partner had a fantastic 3 nights stay at Seal Cove Cabin during the New Year break! Louisa & Peter were fantastic hosts and were very helpful when checking in and recommending local places to visit, eat or local walks with our dog. There is nothing negative we could possibly say during our whole stay! The cabin is very cosy and we felt so comfortable from the moment we got there. Overall, fantastic stay at the cabin and will look to book again for our next trip to Scotland!

Fantastic cabin which beautiful wooden interior and amazing views. Sara has thought of everything that made our stay really comfortable. Ord is a great part of the Isle of Skye and there a many great walks from the doorstep. We also really enjoyed a boat trip a drive away. Really recommend Sara’s cabin.

Stunning cabin, immaculate and lots of thoughtful little details. Directions were perfect and easy to follow! Will definitely be back!

just home after a amazing 2 nights. both hosts were great with communication, the Lodge was easy to find with their instructions. the Lodge its self was perfect especially the wrap around porch for dogs. the view is stunning can only imagine how much better it would be on a sunny clear day. so peaceful you can hear all the different birds chipping away. kitchen had everything you would need and more, bedrooms all a great size, plenty of clothes storage and 2 had lovely dressing tables, mattresses pillows and duvets were awesome we all had a great sleep. living room is cosy and comfy. bathroom modern and clean with the bonus of a bath. hot water, heating and WiFi all available 👌. would love to come back in the near future thanks again George & Maria
