I had a fantastic stay at Morag's cottage. The location took my breath away, just stunning, right on the Loch with beautiful views all round. Peaceful in nature, lovely flat to come home to after long days exploring the local area and the gorgeous bays. Fabulous spa near by for a bit of luxury, lovely local produce, great ferry rides, starlit nights , seals, deer, a pinemartin and so many birds. The cottage is so comfortable and well appointed and lovely natural colours as well as the wood burner which was so great in the evenings. Village shop right next door and lovely cafes and bistro too. A great stay in a great place!

Couldnt have done anymore to make our stay perfect. Would definitely recommend and looking forward to our next stay. Thanks

Lovely lovely apartment right by the lake. Mesmerizing views, amazing shower, well equiped kitchen and we even had a bottle of prosecco waiting for us. We felt at home abd had a wonderful time !

Had fantastic time in Lisa's flat even with Storm Eowyn keeping us indoors on the Friday. This is the second time I have booked it the first being for my son, daughter & son-in-law for my father's funeral. This time it was for my sister and myself. Can't complement it enough and its a lovely place to stay between Greenock and Gourock. We will use it the next time we visit Scotland.

Claudio's flat was the perfect location for a stay in Largs. Very close to shops, pubs and restaurants. Ideally situated on the seafront next to the Ferry terminal. The views from the bay window were stunning and the sunsets were spectacular. It was most enjoyable watching the ferry going back and forth to Cumbrae and watching everything through the telescope made it more enjoyable. It had the added bonus of being able to sit outside on the roof of the restaurant below! The welcome pack of bread, milk, eggs and pancakes was greatly appreciated, although teabags would have been useful. Fortunately there's a Co-op supermarket close by. The extra, very cosy blankets I found in the cupboard were great on the chilly nights. The kitchen was well stocked with utensils and cookware so eating in was easy. TV reception wasn't always good as there isn't cable or satellite, but still got a good range on Freeview.

A lovely place to stay in an excellent location with beautiful views. Plenty of space for everyone to sit and eat in the kitchen and plenty of seating in the living room too. The listing mentions the bunkbeds not being the best for adults but we found them very comfortable. The heating was easily adjustable and worked well, the kitchen was well equipped, lovely shower and bath also available. We had a brilliant stay and would definitely book this again.

Wow- what a beautiful location. We enjoyed wonderful views from the waterside bench, and even a couple of dips in the loch. This is a special place. Highly recommend.

Great wee place from which to explore Rothesay and Bute. Everything in the flat worked well and I really enjoyed my stay…..can’t wait to buy return.

The perfect house for our family get together. Lots of space, well equipped kitchen, the games room was a hit, as was the hot tub! The house was warm with loads of hot water. Thank you!

If you are looking for off-the-beaten-track luxury with incredible wildlife, views of beautiful Loch Etive and the surrounding mountains which are second to none - then this is the place for you! Our family of 7 had a wonderful stay here and we were sad to leave. We highly recommend this Air BnB and we would love to visit again. Note: we were thankful to find teabags and coffee - but bring your own milk. ;)

We had a fabulous trip to Largs, the accommodation was lovely. The photos do not do the space justice. Bedrooms were very spacious and living are was really comfy. Location was superb, really near the town but also very peaceful. Thank you Laura for a fabulous stay, we will hopefully be back!

We had the most wonderful stay at Loch View House! The location is incredibly serene and scenic and the house itself is gorgeous with really thoughtful touches! The place was big enough to host all 12 of us, including kids and each room is perfectly decorated! Ema was incredibly friendly and on hand to help too! We’ve made some incredible memories that we’ll treasure forever.

Our stay was fantastic, especially given that we booked last minute after another place fell through. The host was incredibly responsive, making sure everything was ready for us. The real highlight was the breathtaking view overlooking the water, with mountains in the distance – truly picturesque! The house itself was spacious and ideal for our group, nestled in a private, peaceful spot that felt like a true retreat. The kids had a great time with the nearby beach just a few minutes’ walk away, and they loved exploring the vast open land surrounding the property. Another great part was the location – it’s about a 15 minute drive to Oban, a lovely town with plenty to do. It gave us the perfect balance of seclusion and easy access to town activities. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking to enjoy both tranquillity and the option of nearby excursions!

A real home away from home, I highly recommend staying here! The hosts are lovely, the location is beautiful, the beds are comfy and the house is immaculate. This is a real gem and the pictures just don't do it justice!

This place was perfect to stay at for walking the hills nearby. The lochside garden was beautiful to sit and relax at as the sunset. Very easy to walk to nearby pubs and a little shop. Details to get to the place we're spot on and really helpful. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would happily stay again

Firstly the view from the property is absolutely stunning and you are as close to the loch as you can be. The view takes your breath away and is a joy to behold each time you walk into the open plan lounge& kitchen. Carol and Don came out to meet us and to show us around the property and advise on heating etc. They were very welcoming and friendly, but left us to settle in after an initial chat. The property was spotlessly clean and was very well equipped, with everything one could possibly need for a comfortable stay. The guest book was very thorough, containing relevant instructions for a safe stay. I loved the Deer theme running through the property and the personal touches including a lovely little personalised welcome card. Carol and Don were more than happy to recommend places of interest if required and of course had a thorough knowledge of the area. We had a lovely restful four days at the property and would highly recommend this beautiful property & friendly hosts!

Jill is a fantastic host! She was proactive with instructions, directions, things to do and restaurant recommendations. She even offered to make a dinner reservation for us the first night & we loved her suggestion! The home was tidy and peaceful with thoughtful touches like cookies & a pitcher of milk for the tea and coffee.

Had a great stay at Joanna’s place. I am walking the Rob Roy’s way, and Joanna’s place was just what I needed after a long day, a bed, clean sheets, and two beers in the fridge! Great communication, and overall just a great stay. Highly recommended :)

Louise was very helpful and quick to respond. We had such a lovely stay so much so we have already booked a return visit. The beds were very comfortable and the whole house warm comfortable and cosy. The lounge was the only area we felt needed updating, the sofas were well past their sell by date and quite shabby. The furniture in that room on the whole was tired. It did not deter from our enjoyment. The kitchen was extremely well equipped with everything we needed and more. and Louise had very kindly left us a welcome gift. We used the local taxi service to travel about and they were very reliable. As said previously we are returning and would highly recommend. Thank you Louise x

What a perfect find!! We were looking for a quiet spot to get away from it all for a couple of nights. The Old Post Office could not have fit the bill any better. From the start, Vince was exceptionally proactive with clear communication and instructions. On arrival, everything was exactly as expected.. Spotlessly clean and pristine throughout. Extremely well appointed with lots of lovely touches by Vince and Nicole. Plenty of snacks, biscuits and porridge pots to keep us going for our stay!! We were blessed with amazing weather - the beach was literally 10m from the front door with incredible views across the water to the Holy Loch, Dunoon and Gourock. Sunsets in Cove are beautiful and we were able to enjoy them fully, sat on the perfect little bench at the front of the apartment. Absolutely no complaints and we would thoroughly recommend others to try it out. PS: There’s a little shop only 30m up the road that does amazing ice cream!! Enjoy!!😊

Loved this apartment and the area. Very quiet, well equipped, clean, perfect for a couple. Great bars and restaurants within short walking distance. Great instructions for getting in to the apartment and clear checkout instructions too - stress free and simple. Can’t wait to return

John was a great host. He messaged regularly to check that everything was ok with checkin and recommended places to eat and things to do. The flat had everything required for a very comfortable stay. It was right in the heart of the town. Just perfect. Very friendly people in the town too. I would definitely recommend and will return.
