We really enjoyed our stay. Derrywood is a short walk from the centre of Braemar. It is a great base for exploring the local area and hiking the Munros. The accommodation was very clean, spacious and well equipped and the hosts very accommodating, approachable and friendly. Would definitely stay again

We had the best weekend celebrating a special birthday. Mhairi was so attentive and fast at responding. The neighbours were so kind and welcoming to us. The beds were comfy and clean. The kitchen has everything you can think of! The underfloor heating was magical. Everything was perfect!

I booked this property for my husband and his 3 friends for his 40th birthday. Wallace was extremely communicative at all times, and was very welcoming to the group on arrival. One of the guests arrived early and while Wallace explained the place would not be ready till check in, the guest was able to fish on the loch till later in the day, and thoroughly enjoyed himself! The property was as described, perfectly clean and the location was exactly what I was looking for when I booked. It was easy to find, and the walking guides and maps of the local area were very helpful too. Would book again!

This was a lovely location and a great house. We really enjoyed our stay here made even better by the snow. Dog friendly and everything was just as described. Would definitely stay here again and would recommend to anyone.

Alison was a wonderful host for her place from giving us excellent directions (we came in after dark and still found it easily) to checking us in personally. We communicated with her that we had left later than planned and would be getting there late so we certainly didn't expect a personal check-in, but it was much appreciated. The place itself is a charming croft and a small distance from Spean Bridge into the countryside. The views are gorgeous and the interior is welcoming and well equipped. For us it was a central location for exploring - .5 hour to Fort William, 1.5 hrs to Glen Creran, and slighly less than 2 hrs to Kyle of Lochalsh and the Skybridge to the Isle of Skye, etc. We would hike all day and come home late to make a last meal and sleep. Having a washer and dryer in a mud room area was fabulous with mud on our hikes. We would definitely stay here again both for the scenery and the hospitality.

We had a lovely long weekend in the Mole Catcher’s Cottage. It’s a gorgeous house, recently renovated to a very high standard, and it had everything we needed. The location is perfect for exploring the Cairngorms area. It was so peaceful, sitting in the living area with huge windows on to the garden and river. All four of us - adults and children - had a great time. It’s a short walk to Landmark Forest Park and a short drive to Aviemore, Rothiemurchus etc. Thanks to Linda and family for hosting us!

We had an amazing stay at this beautiful, spacious cottage located in the stunning Perthshire countryside. It’s the perfect location for peaceful walks in the Scottish Highlands and a wonderful escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life. The garden was a standout feature—large, spacious, and full of quirky charm, making it a great spot to relax and enjoy nature. Jeanette and Guy were incredible hosts-super friendly, welcoming, and always quick to respond. They went above and beyond with local recommendations, which made our stay even more enjoyable. We couldn’t recommend this place enough and hope to return soon!

What a gorgeous little flat this is! It had everything you could possibly need as Elizabeth really has thought of everything. Place was spotless and equipped with all the essentials. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and felt right at home. Honestly, I would struggle to find something we didn’t like. I especially liked when we arrived the flat was warm cosy and inviting ❤️ I would absolutely recommend this to anyone looking for a pleasant, homely base to stay in. We often visit Comrie as we love it and also because we have relatives here and so we look for different places to stay in. This is one we will definitely stay in again. As a couple with a dog seeking a weekend break Dunollie at Balquhidder was perfect for us. Cosy and spotlessly clean, in a great location for walks and the excellent Mhor84 just down the road for a superb breakfast. A perfect break for us, thank you Alison and Hannah.

A warm welcome and a warm stay. Allyson is a magic host. She is very kind and was very keen to stress that we should contact her for anything needed. The property was spotless and very comfortable with plenty of heating options for the coldest time of the year. It is located right next to the woods and perfect for a stroll with various loop options around the area. A good variety of birds constantly visit the garden with a horde of resident coal tits present and visits by chaffinches, crested tits, woodpeckers, etc. It's the perfect place to stay as either a base for the wider area or just enjoying the local village and woods

We had a lovely stay at this apartment. Perfect location right on Loch Ness with plenty of indoor and outdoor activities to keep the kids entertained. Highly recommend!!

Angela's place in Findhorn is simply beautiful and we had everything we needed from the amazing location, to the accommodation itself being exactly as advertised to the way the apartment is decorated and furnished. Angela made everything very easy for us; it is true, she does reply within 1 hour and we felt so welcome when we arrived. The fire was lit, there was prosecco chilling and the lamps we already on. The bay in Findhorn is stunning and the apartment is right on the sea front. It's a short walk to the sandy part of the bay to see the seals and there is a lovely pub, The Kimberley, no more than 100 metres up the road. Everything was wonderful. I would highly recommend Angela's place and we will definitely stay there again when we return to Findhorn. Thank you again.

Many thanks to Jas & Kiran for hosting my partner and I. The place was easy to find, and easy to check into. Private bedroom with a beautiful outlook into the amazing mountain views. Kitchen was great to be able to cook meals in, and definitely enjoyed the vinyl records available. Bedroom and bathroom were clean and very stylish, and provided a great place for rest and relaxation. We were thankfully blessed with clear skies at night, and had a lovely evening stargazing. The location of the Airbnb is just nice, as it’s not too far off from Fort William if needing to grab groceries, and also has many attractions not too far off as well. 10/10 definitely recommended if visiting the highlands/staying in Spean Bridge!

We had the most amazing time at Bhallin Dhu - Lorna's place is absolutely fantastic. The lodge was super cosy and very comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed, the bathrooms were spotless and the king size bed a dream. The log fire was easy to use and made the place even more cozy. It was a peaceful location and fantastic to be right on the Spey side way, which made for some great dog walks. The deck area was great for the dog, and he just sat out in the evenings and mornings watching the wildlife. We cannot think of anything we would change about the place and would love to stay again.

Thanks so much Jessica for hosting us on our first stop on (our version of) the NC500. We had such a wonderful time in your little oasis outside Cromarty. Perfect location for exploring the Black Isle and everything it has to offer. We were very lucky with the weather and to see dolphins almost on cue at nearby Chanonry Point. The nearby Fairy Glen falls were gorgeous and thanks for the recommendation of Big Burn Walk in Golspie, that was stunning! By far our best memories are sitting in the hot tub watching the deer in the fields, the sun go down, and bats soaring above our heads. Spectacular. Thanks so much for everything!! :)

We really loved this peaceful and remote stay. It was very quiet and serene. The Airbnb had everything we needed, it’s definitely a cozy little spot! The extra touches from the hosts were really nice. Everything was extremely clean. Very close to the main town. Highly recommend if you are in the area!

The wee love nest was so cosy and beautifully decorated. The attention to detail is like nothing I've seen before! Just such a beautiful place to be and nice little walks in the surrounding area. The hot tub was absolutely wonderful and the hosts were incredibly welcoming and easy to chat to! 100% will be back in the future!

We had a lovely stay at Glebe cabin, which is small and very cosy, with everything you need (a double bedroom downstairs and two single beds up in the attic) in a lovely location. Emma is a great host.
