Absolutely stunning position. Felt very much at home . Jenny very helpful . Very friendly and there if you need her. Most peaceful of positions. Beach 2 minutes walk. Lovely cove round the bay about 10 minutes walk. Very dog friendly. Tongue about 10 minutes drive nice walk to castle . Burrs a must to visit. Coffee shop. Home made pies and cakes and petrol. Accommodation. Lovely. All you need in a cosy wee house. And parking with sheep just strolling by.

We had a lovely 3 night stay in Alexa’s cottage. The property is in a great location if you wish to travel further north, it took us less than an hour to get to John O’Groats. There is a walk to the small pebble beach 5 minutes from the cottage. The cottage is by a river which is lovely to listen to at night. Our dog enjoyed the walks nearby. The cottage stays warm and the rain shower js lovely! The living room is small and cosy, with plenty of firewood. The kitchen is stocked with all cutlery and dishes. I would say bring your own tea bags/coffee if you have more than 1 cup a day. Also bring your own shower gel, something we forgot! The hosts are helpful and responsive. Everyone we met nearby were all were kind and friendly people. All in all, a lovely place to stay. I’d recommend it to anyone wanting to visit that area.

Our third stay in this wonderful house . Homely and cosy with a great log burner and everything you need . Stunning views and great access to the beautiful north coast . Bring a head torch if you arrive after dark . Logs are available at Bettyhill cafe and the Wee Shop on the way to Thurso . Can’t recommend highly enough as a great ‘getaway from it all ‘ place to relax and unwind .

Great accomodation, just as described in an outstandingly beautiful location. Highlights were the superb Applecross Inn, the wildlife right on the doorstep and simply lying in bed listening to the sounds of the waves. Loved it.

Amazing stay in Portree! This place is adorable and in an amazing location. The view and location were top notch. My family's stay in the Isle of Skye was made even better thanks to this place. Cozy living with a nice fireplace and kitchen. Games for us to enjoy with the view right outside our door. And easy to get to all the recommended hikes and scenery. We would definitely stay here again!

Ideal studio apartment for a holiday break. Everything had been thought of by Katie. It was clean and tidy and well equipped. Katie even provided the view! Stunning location - it sits directly opposite and very close to the harbour where there is lots of activity. A perfect place to stay.

My wife and our 2 little boys stayed at Gemma’s place for 3 nights. Instructions were great, check-in was easy, the place was spotless and within 50m walk of the beach. Helpfully, all of the things that you need for a short stay but don’t wish to buy especially were also there (eg buckets and spades, dishwasher tablets, toilet rolls, olive oil, soap, tea coffee etc) a great stay - thank you!

Lovely stay at Shirley’s lodge. Caravan was really clean, beds super comfy and lots of games was a bonus. Great to have the bath, washing machine and dishwasher. Place was spotless and loved the decor. One row back from the beach and huge bit of grass at the front for the kids. Great communication from Shirley and we all had a fab time

Another 10/10 stay at The Thistle 😊 It truly is a wonderful gem of a place in the most stunning setting. Liz was marvellous at making us feel at home and communicated everything we needed to know in advance and Tanya is a super host with a lovely property indeed. We'll be back to this special place! The place was beyond our expectations. The views are incredible and it felt so private and peaceful. Inside the house was beautiful, very cozy but modern and they had thought of everything. The kitchen had lots of bits that meant you could cook proper meals which was lovely. Felt right at home and would reccomend it to anyone looking for comfort and tranquility.

Great place to stay, lovely views, great hosts, and made sure the hot tub was ready when we arrived. Will definitely be back!

As far as AIRBNBs go you could not ask for a better view. Not only is this a lovely place to stay, there are loads of local coffee shops, restauraunts and shops to visit. It's also great for access to the rest of the island and Alex is super friendly and couldn't have been a better host.

This was our first visit to Plockton and definitely won’t be our last! We were originally staying in a remote area Isle of Skye but decided to mix it up and to see this charming town. Angie‘s home exceeded expectations with exceptional amenities, spectacular views of the water, and walking distance to several restaurants. There’s a lovely restaurant, The Shores Plockton, just two doors down with an exceptional wine menu and freshly caught seafood. They even have a small market with local goods and the freshest coffee in the mornings. Angie’s attention to detail and responsive communication was greatly appreciated given it was our first visit. We felt right at home and will definitely choose Angie’s place for our next visit!

We had a fantastic time staying in the yurt. Lisa is a friendly and helpful host who made our stay absolutely wonderful.

Having stayed at our fair share of airbnbs across Europe and the UK, Fiona's place was by far the most hospitable and welcoming. We were travelling as a group of 4 and absolutely loved our stay here. Fiona has clearly put in a lot of effort to ensure her guests are comfortable and have everything they need. We really appreciated her recommendations. Although we had a car, it would have been equally accessible go get to and from her place through public transport and just a short 10 or so minutes into the town of Golspie. Staying here really made our Highland experience memorable. We would absolutely stay again in the future.

well we'll what can I say about Sarah.. she is just a beautiful wonderful host inside and out. the place is so spacious very neat and clean.had everything what we needed. fridge and freezer full of food and the most important thing is we could use everything that was so kind of Sarah.she couldn't do enough for us. always checking if we were comfortable and needed anything. loved staying every minute of it. Will definitely come in summer again.just felt like home.thank you so much for everything Sarah. hope you have a wonderful time at NEW YEAR.all the best for 2025 !!

Such a special place to stay: as close to the beach as you could get in a breathtaking place, and when the weather was bad even the view from the cosy sitting room was exceptional. The campsite next door was busy for New Year, but there was absolutely no noise and people walking past the window to head to the beach really didn't intrude, plus the small shop in the campsite reception was very useful for snacks. House was perfectly set up with lots of space, all the equipment you could need and a comfortable living environment. A very wonderful place to spend time.
