Locust Grove : locations de vacances

The house was great! It had everything we needed to enjoy the long weekend. I would suggest packing water shoes for the little ones. We did not and left with a couple cuts but nothing serious.

Margie was great. She introduced herself to my son and I right when we got there. The accommodations were excellent. Beds were super comfy and everything was very clean. House sits right on a small lake in a very nice neighborhood.

We stayed here to attend a nearby wedding venue. We flew in from LA, Seattle, Berlin… the place was so nice and comfortable to settle into after a long flight and drive. We found it to be very clean and sharing one bathroom wasn’t a problem. There were snacks and smores ingredients and plenty of towels. Julie was proactive and friendly.

This is a perfect mountain retreat for those looking to get away for peace and quiet. The views are spectacular, especially at sunset. Tim was great with Communications and responded quickly to any questions/concerns we had. Rich, the property manager, was awesome and checked in to make sure we settled in fine our first night and was only a call away if there were any issues. You're very close to Luray and Skyline Drive. There are also so many things to do at the house if you're just looking to stay in, especially during the colder months. It was just a couples trip this time but I would definitely bring my children here. Highly recommend!

This home was beautiful, wonderful, and relaxing. The view from the house is so gorgeous and secluded. You really feel like you are on vacation. Of course our host was responsive and proactive. But as a busy mom with two little kids I have to highlight how particularly child friendly this home is! We stayed upstairs which has 2 bedrooms with a jack and Jill bath in between. My boys loved having two single beds at a height they could easily get into and I loved not worrying about them falling out of a gigantic bed. There were toys in the chest of their room with working batteries! Unreal! There was a mini table and chairs. Games and books spanned multiple ages and both my 4 yo and my 6 yo found games to play. My kids are sensitive to cold water (the little one turns blue!) and the heated pool was a HUGE hit. We never even made it to using the kayaks because the kids just wanted to be in the pool. There were even pool toys. I am running out of characters for this review! We will be back!

The cabin is very nice. The host communicates very well and provides detailed instructions that will make your trip very easy. Its like going to your own house. Everything was clean, available and orderly. Very nice cabin and we enjoyed it very much. The drive up to the cabin is trecherous. They offer a vehicle for the drive up which is awesome and I recommend using it. We had dry weather for our trip and used our 2023 chevy blazer. It made it, but was stressful and would not have if it had rained. Take a truck or take advantage of their SUV. You need some ground clearence to get up the drive safetly. Absolutly worth every penny. Great place with spectacular views!!

If you have the chance to go to Brightwood, Connie’s place is a can’t miss! The chalet is clean, homey, well decorated, and welcoming for a family or gathering of friends. Connie includes those little touches that make you feel at home- chocolates on the bed, extra towels, extra toothbrushes, toothpaste, and makeup remover in the bathrooms as well! Connie’s chalet is very clean and everything you need is at your fingertips. Connie was very communicative and the chalet and view was private and gorgeous. If I was ever back in Brightwood, there is no doubt that the chalet would be my first choice.

My fiance and I enjoyed our time here. it was peaceful and quiet and very clean I will be staying here again in the near future

We had a great time here! The place is within walking distance to the lake for fishing and other activities. We especially enjoyed the hot tub and use of streaming services on the TV!
