We had a lovely stay. The only minor thing was that we had to make up the beds when we arrived, but all linen was provided and Silje was a great host.

So beautiful! The surrounding mountain view is stunning. Cozy living room. So close to one of the best bakery’s we’ve tried in Norway. Great base for that area of Lofoten.

really enjoyed our week at Barstrand. Hans Ole was great in providing us with information and recommendations before and during our stay :) every question and problem was swiftly take care of. Fully recommend it for a relaxed stay with view in the sea :)

Sehr schönes Ferienhaus! Einfach, aber schön eingerichtet, alles ist vorhanden. Das Bad wurde gereade renoviert und alles funktioniert jetzt gut. Die Umgebung ist sehr schön und ruhig. Ein Pardies für wanderer.

We had a wonderful stay in Timea and Paul’s amazing house. It is cozily furnished, with a well-equipped kitchen, nice bedrooms, good beds and a comfortable bathroom. What a beautiful place to live! The view is stunning, even when it snows. Timea gave us great advice on which snowshoe hikes we could do, and they were amazing. It had just snowed a lot, and making our own path was such a fun experience for our family. Timea and Paul gave us a warm welcome and are wonderful hosts!

Ein unvergesslicher Aufenthalt! Wir haben Anfang April in dieser wunderbaren Ferienunterkunft übernachtet. Wir können nur Positives berichten! Von der ersten Minute an fühlten wir uns wie zu Hause. Die Wohnung war makellos sauber und geschmackvoll eingerichtet, mit all den Annehmlichkeiten, die man sich wünschen kann. Die Lage ist einfach perfekt – ruhig und dennoch zentral, sodass man die Umgebung mit dem Auto leicht erkunden kann. Hinrich war unglaublich freundlich und hilfsbereit und hat uns tolle Tipps gegeben. Besonders genossen haben wir den tollen Wellnessbereich, wo wir jeden Abend unseres Aufenthaltes verbracht haben. Es war der ideale Ort, um zu entspannen und den Tag ausklingen zu lassen. Wir können diese Ferienunterkunft sehr empfehlen! Ich freue mich schon auf meinen nächsten Besuch :) Vielen Dank für die herzliche Gastfreundschaft!

We were two families (11 persons in total) visiting Kjetil's place and we liked it a lot! The house was great for such a large group. Very clear instructions both in advance through email/Airbnb and through small notes in the house made it very easy to understand how to use and take care of the house. This included for example instructions in case of fire (escape ladder was also available), Wi-Fi instructions, how to use the dish washer, etc. The surroundings were even more beautiful than we thought from the photos and there is also a hiking trip starting just outside the estate that we enjoyed a lot. The house was very clean and nicely furnished with the extra things that makes it feel like a home.

Beautiful isolated stay. We loved our stay and found it cozy and private. It was perfectly located, quiet, and very spacious. Beautiful!!

Great location for visiting the west part of Lofoten. Historical fishing town that is worth the visit, just take into account that supermarkets are therefore a 20min drive away. We appreciated the well equipped kitchen and bathroom (washing machine) as well as the elaborate hikes that are available in the area. Overall, we had a lovely stay.

Es hat drei verschiedene Unterkünfte am selben Ort, wir wussten zuerst nicht recht vohin. Kurt kam aber schnell und half uns gleich. Die Küche ist spärlich aber funktional ausgerüstet. Alles in allem eine sehr angenehme Unterkunft für ein paar Tage.

War ein guter Aufenthalt, genug Platz und die Lage ist sehr gut. Der TV hat nicht funktioniert, aber ich nahm an das es auch keine deutschen o. englische Seder gibt. Alles gut.

We had a great five-day stay here. The location is ideal for exploring Lofoten: it's halfway between Reine and Henningsvær, a short drive to several beaches, and close to many hikes. The apartment itself is large, peaceful, and well-equipped. It also has a great view. I would definitely recommend this place.

Cooles Haus mit guter Aufteilung auch für mehrere Personen/Familien geeignet. Sehr ruhig gelegen mit schöner Sicht. Alf war gut erreichbar und hilfreich. Danke.

Se dovessi consigliare un posto dove alloggiare alle Lofoten sarebbe questo, il migliore in cui siamo stati. Già solo la strada per arrivare merita la visita, in più la spiaggia di Unstad è un gioiello incredibile e la posizione è comoda per visitare tutto l'arcipelago. Il cottage è incredibilmente confortevole, un posto dove potersi rilassare dopo le ore al freddo, con tutte le comodità necessarie. Saremo per sempre legati a questo luogo avendo visto la nostra prima aurora boreale invernale. La seconda sera l'abbiamo vista comodamente seduti sul divano, non ha avuto prezzo! Hermann è estremamente gentile, non possiamo che ringraziarlo per la sua disponibilità! Grazie per metterci a disposizione questo luogo speciale.

We arrived late at night after a 4 hour drive from Narvik. The next day Cato showed me how to fill and heat the hottub and even took it upon himself to get it up to temp while we were out grocery shopping. That night we enjoyed gazing at the aurora borealis dancing above our heads in the hottub. A couple days later it got rainy and extremely windy preventing us from heating the hottub. As compensation Cato offered us use of his sauna and to take a swim in the sea, which we gladly did. He also gave us a whole cod for free from his fisherman's friend Tom which we used to make typical Norwegian dishes. Cato was extremely helpful and kind, he replied within minutes whenever we needed help or had any questions and he was full of amazing recommendations, as to where to hike and which towns and restaurants to visit. Towards the end of our stay it snowed a lot turning the surroundings into winter wonderland. We were very lucky to see all sides of Norway including the Northern lights!

Wir waren zum Angeln dort und konnten Boote im Offersøy Feriensenter mieten (ca. 20min entfernt mit dem Auto). Für uns genau das richtige. Sehr gute Kommunikation und schöne Lage.

Tor is the best host because he us thoughtful, helpful, and caring. Our family loved our snow days in his home because it was warm, cozy, and felt like home. Tor provided some fish he caught from the fjord for us to have and it was wonderful. This is the best overall stay my family has had in 4 international vacations. We hope to return for summer. We all slept so well in the cozy beds. The views were unbelievable. We enjoyed playing cards and chess. Kitchen is very well stocked and grocery store is 10 minutes away. HIGHLY recommend Tor and his summer home.

Ett fantastiskt gulligt hus, så charmigt med utsikt över fjord och berg. Verkligen ett litet dockhus. Vi åt mat ute på altanen en solig dag och njöt av omgivning. Mycket nära vandringsleder tex som Ryten och Rören. Pierre var snabb att svara och perfekt värd!
