Our group of six (four adults and two teens) had a great winter weekend at Dan's cabin. Dan was very responsive and we had no trouble finding the house or getting in. The driveway is steep and we were glad Dan's instructions included information about how to manage it. The house itself is beautifully decorated, spotless and very comfortable. We enjoyed making dinners, playing board games and relaxing in the hot tub. Perfect location for exploring Old Man's Cave, Ash Cave and hiking in the area. I would happily stay here again.

I really loved it, was very clean and peaceful and even got to see some deer.

The house was beautiful! Definitely need 4x4 to get back there though! Even with AWD we slid down the last hill before the house because of the snow/ice mixture. We did finally make it and had a wonderful weekend with friends! Beautiful view of the sunrise over the lake and to look out all day at the snow! Would love to make time to come back in the summer months!

Spacious, peaceful setting for a family gathering. Clean and comfortable with a well-stocked kitchen. Close to Old Man’s Cave and the wonderful beauty of the State Park. We would enjoy returning to this property again.

The house was beautiful, very modern and updated with great amenities. It was in a very quiet and peaceful location yet close enough to easily get to town and to all of the amazing hiking trails in Hocking Hills.

We had a fantastic time at Valley View! The kids never wanted to leave. the weather wasn't great so they didn't play outside on the pickleball court, but they were so busy in the game room it didn't matter! I honestly thought they'd be in the pool the whole time but the game room was so fun, they spent most of their time playing. The house had plenty of space for all 16 of us and our 2 dogs! We were very comfortable and there were local food places where we could order in and let the kids keep playing as much as they wanted! In the photos online it looks like the bunk room doesn't have a door to close it off but it DOES have a barn style door to close that gives it some privacy. That was a nice surprise! The only disappointment was that the dogs aren't allowed to swim in the pool. However with the long, shared driveway, the fenced in basketball/ pickleball court, and spacious house they had plenty of opportunities for daily exercise! Everyone was exhausted each night from the fun!

We picked this cabin because we were looking for a rental that offered a sauna. Everything on the property was clean and in operating order (including the sauna :-) ) The arrival instructions were very helpful. The cell phone service was sketchy, and the tip to screenshot the door code was very helpful. Brian also shared some common feedback about finding the drive to the cabins, and that was helpful. We did message about one thing - it had stormed in the area prior to our arrival, and we did ask if there were any issues as a result of the storms. I did not get a response until after we checked out. There were no issues. Airbnb strongly recommends you communicate with hosts only through the app, and that is how we messaged. Brian did include other contact information, and maybe that would have yielded a quicker response. We were following the Arrbnb guidelines. The pre-arrival communication and tips were very helpful, so I will give credit for that, and it is well deserved.

Great place to stay, and Brian is a great host. It is not quite as private as the pictures seem. There is another villa on back the same driveway, you can’t see the other villa but there is some traffic on the driveway. Also the patio area can be seen from the road which is not a big road, but still a little bit of traffic. This did not bother us at all, and it was a great place!!

Such a wonderful place to stay. Will definitely come back. Everything was smooth and the place was amazing.

The house and property were perfect for our stay. We found the property and the geodome to be such beautiful additions and surprises to our stay. We walked back the waterfall which rivaled some of the other paths we hiked in the park!! The chefs kitchen was delightful, and we served our party of 18 no problem!! The hosts were so communicative and when we had questions were very quick to respond and helpful! We liked the property so much we are planning to come back in the fall or sometime next year!!

Out of my own selfishness, I want to leave a bad review so that way this place is always available for me. This house was AMAZING. For anyone in the area that is checking out Hocking Hills, this place is the perfect place to stay. The house is HUGE. We had eight people and were very comfortable. Lake view is breathtaking. The house is modern and has everything you would need. Perfect place for bonfires, cozy mornings on the patio overlooking the lake, and we saw a ton of bald eagles flying over the lake. Highly recommend.

Great location - the view of the lake was spectacular. We enjoyed the fire pit, the hot tub and the accommodations. Perfect girls' getaway!

Prefect place to stay in for a little getaway!

This was our second stay at Verde Grove Cabins (we stayed in Sycamore around Thanksgiving). We enjoyed the view out the kitchen windows of Oink (dense forest). Loved the hot tub and was able to cook all of our meals in the well equipped kitchen. Old Man’s Cave wasn’t too far away for a nice family outing. Planning to visit again in the fall!

The house was clean and as described. The living area was smaller than what appeared in the pictures. But, There was enough room for the 5 of us. It was unexpected that one bedroom was in the basement. The furniture was comfortable and kitchen was well stocked. The outdoor fire pit area was great, we did bring our own wood. The hot tub and deck were perfect to hang out on, even in the rain. We enjoyed corn hole and the rocking chairs. Would recommend if looking to stay in and relax. It did seem that most things were a drive away if you wanted to get out and adventure. The other rental homes on the lane were far enough you couldn’t see through the trees. But you could hear that there was a large group near by. Over all it was a great stay!

Everything about this cabin makes you feel right at home. Audrey really knocked it out of the park with the decor. We specifically chose this listing for the porches, in case it rained we could still enjoy sitting out in nature. Even though it feels pretty remote, it was still close to things we wanted to see and do. I would highly recommend this cabin and Audrey, our host!

Me and the hubby stayed for two nights for our 10th anniversary weekend and it was amazing. Peaceful, quiet, clean, and a great place to unplug and unwind but still close to town for necessities and restaurants and close to Hocking Hills for all the nature hikes you could want. The bed was comfortable, even for someone like me who has sciatica and has to be picky about it. I spent most of my time on the porch swing drinking coffee/hot chocolate (I totally need one of those in my life) and the hot tub. Dave and Carol were so nice and super helpful, and answered every question I had even when I was annoying lol. We would definitely stay again.

We really enjoyed our stay and will be back! The cabin was so clean. It was decorated really cute. Super cozy, peaceful, and relaxing. The hot tub was amazing. The shower was incredible. The bed was super comfy. I can’t say enough wonderful things about this place. They truly have something special here. You can tell everything was well thought out and they paid close attention to detail. 10/10 recommend
