Place was amazing and beautiful!! Very fun! Sauna didn’t get hot, but everything else was clean, and top notch. Beautiful house and beautiful area. We enjoyed our stay a ton!!!! Would definitely recommend for a big group to come and hang out. The hosts were also great at communicating and answering any questions we had.

Great place, went up there with 9 of us and spent most of our time split between the back barn playing pickleball or in the hot tub. Lots of space, and not far from town while still feeling secluded.

Stayed here with multiple families and kids and it was perfect!! The kids loved being on their own floor in the basement and every couple had their own bedroom! The common area was spacious and plenty of dining space!! We had an amazing time having game tournaments in the game area as well!

Wonderful stay and loved the space!!! The pool and hot tub were so fun and the living areas were super cozy!! Only advice is that if there’s inclement weather to make sure you have a reliable source of transportation because there are some steep hills to drive to get there. Overall, we had a fantastic stay and would love to return!

Very nice house, with all the amenities we needed. Plenty of space and the patio with firepit was useful. We did not rent the lower bar but it looked very cool. Will definitely use again when we visit our OU Bobcat.

We have been making an effort to book a trip to hocking hills area annually and have stayed at a few locations. This was by far our favorite! Amazing location with stunning views, hot tub, close to grocery stores and diners ( within 5-15 minutes), easy to locate and check in, and the house was perfect for our large group. We look forward to returning in the summer time to enjoy the pool and home again. There was no lack of entertainment either with the game room and movie room! Highly recommend!

I cannot say enough about how incredible our stay was! This beautiful home is a reflection of the warmth that Jackie showed us throughout our stay. This is the quietest, most peaceful stay we’ve ever had. The property is so peaceful, the trails were an amazing added bonus and our dog had the time of his life here as well. We were so impressed with the length that Jackie and Jared went to making this home so welcoming, comfortable, cozy, peaceful and fun. We truly felt at home. I hope to visit again. My son and I loved everything about this place and my son kept remarking too about how peaceful it is. Truly so kind for them to share this gem with others. You will not be disappointed. We also loved being so close to the parks we wanted to visit. I am so grateful we got to experience nature and have a soft place to land at the end of the day. Thank you so much for opening your incredible home to us! 💖

We have stayed here many times before. It’s really secluded and quiet but not too far away from the grocery store (15 mins) or places to hike. The place was clean and we enjoyed the jacuzzi a lot.

Beautiful space that was easy to find and access. We had plenty to do with multiple TVs, a pool table, hot tub, and a fire pit.

Our group loved this space! Game room was awesome (though the billiard table has domed a bit), beds were very comfy, and the place felt cozy and quite nice. This was a really good space for our group! I'd come back here again. Just to prepare: The chimney between the main area and master bedroom is used by both sides, so you can see through it to the other room. Basics for baking/cooking are there, except a pan for brownies or something. Washer/dryer worked well.

We have stayed here quite a few times and has always been great. Everything has always been nice and clean This time the temperatures were in the 20s at night and the house was nice and warm when we arrived.Daniel’s house has worked well for our visits

Convenient and cozy! Just enough for a simple one night stay in Athens, centrally located to uptown, and affordable for 1-2 people. It’s a unique place that must be respected so there are rules that come with the stay (not meant for those in town to party). Garage is small, but a coupe or small sedan can fit to stay secure overnight. Walking distance is convenient! We greatly appreciated the communicative host and flexible check-in.

We had a great stay! The house is absolutely stunning! The beds were so comfortable. The small touches, some snacks to welcome us, and toiletries, in case someone forgot something, are so nice. The hot tub was a nice surprise! We came for a weekend away to talk, do some crafts, and relax. This was a perfect place for that. Highly recommend!!

We stayed at Dustin’s place for our daughter’s graduation from OU! It was perfect for our large family. Definitely had plenty of space and enjoyed the ping pong table. The beds were all comfortable and we just loved all of the beautiful touches that he did to make our stay enjoyable. I would highly recommend this place to anyone.

Perfect location! Super clean and organized. Tammy welcomed us with a happy anniversary card and rose petals! We were even lucky enough to have three deer pass through while we were on the front porch! We will definitely be recommending Tammy’s place to our family and friends. We hope to return soon!

The house was perfect for us and convenient for the weekend. There was plenty of space throughout the house, especially the bedrooms. We enjoyed our stay so much that my six year old grandson didn't want to leave. If we had one complaint, there isn't enough counter space in the kitchen.

My daughter and her girlfriends had a wonderful stay at Whiskey Ridge Cabins for her bachelorette! Adam was extremely communicative and easy to reach (and even offered to let the girls arrive early, since the cabin was not being used the night before). Adam gave very helpful and detailed directions for navigating the area and everyone found the cabin easily. The cabin was only a short drive from the hikes they wanted to do, and Adam and Renee had the house stocked with lots of games and things to do during their down time. Everything was very clean and beautifully decorated for the spring as well! They had a fabulous time and would definitely recommend Adam and Renee as hosts to anyone!

Thank you Chad for opening your home to us for our extended stay. My husband and I had an amazing stay and I think the doggies enjoyed themselves even more. Everything was exactly how he described the property. He actually has more pots/pans than I do at home. Everything was so very clean, nothing was out of place. I loved the big bathtub and having plenty of hot water to fill it up. If you have dogs that love to play in the woods and catch sticks all day, this is the perfect place for them. My dogs had a blast and even found the little stream at the bottom of the hill to run through and play. Deer would visit every morning and evening. I’ve been to a few good AirBnB’s and this will always be my go to spot. The home is located within 20 minutes to Logan and the drive is beautiful. Only recommendation I have is for Verizon wireless customers… I couldn’t get a signal, so I went and bought a prepaid AT&T phone for my stay. I leave in PA and I don’t know if that played into no service.

This is our second stay at the house. It is absolutely beautiful and top class hosts. Josh has been outstanding to work with timely on all communication and quick response. We will definitely rent again when we are in the area. Again 100% TOP CLASS

The Gingerbread Haus is a gorgeous property and cabin, it’s even prettier in person and exceeded my expectations! The cabin was clean, spacious, cozy and well decorated. The hot tub and fire pit are excellent additions, even in the middle of winter surrounded by snow! We spent a weekend with 6 adults and everyone was very comfortable. If I have the opportunity to stay here again I would do so in a heartbeat!

We had a great stay. A spacious place for a reasonable price with all the amenities you could ask for. We hope to stay here again.
