On top of genuinely getting what's in the description, which is already pretty decent, and a responsive host ready to adjust checkin and checkout times for my convenience, the showering facilities are worth mentioning. a decent shower pressure and hot water temperature is not guaranteed, so it got my attention. Also, amazing towels! I am sure I will be back.

We had a restful stay. Easy to find and park. Pamela’s communication was excellent and we felt welcome and at home. The facilities were everything we needed and more. The area is lovely and there are restaurants and shops within walking distance. We very much hope to return next time we are in the area, and would recommend to anyone.

I found the Annexe was within walkable distance to Harpenden about 25 mins which is great on a fine day ( local taxis are available and not expensive ). You can walk via the Common or via Rothampsted Park both pleasant. Trains to London are fast and frequent and a combined tube and bus ticket is very flexible. The booking office staff are very helpful too . We went to Windsor on one day to which was less than an hours drive away . Eileen is a perfect host and will assist in anyway possible . oh yes the Annexe was lovely and warm ,we were free to come and go as we please and . Suited our needs very well . Would recommend

Great spot if you're using public transportation in London. There's a bus stop a short walk away. Friendly hosts, beautiful yard!

This was our 4th stay in Gordon & Viv’s annexe, which speaks for itself. We use it in order to visit family in the area and it provides the perfect base. There is everything you need for breakfast, and plenty of crockery etc should you wish to bring in a ready meal to cook in the microwave. Access is easy and there is ample parking space. Viv & Gordon are both very friendly and always keen for us to say if there is anything we need.

We had an amazing stay at this beautiful home! The property was spotless, just as described, and located in a peaceful, scenic setting. It made for the perfect retreat after our adventures. We traveled with two children, aged 8 and 10, who absolutely loved exploring and playing outside. We were able to take day trips to the WB Harry Potter tour and to London, both of which were easy to reach—a short drive to the tour and an easy train ride to the city. This home served as an ideal base for exploring the area, and we truly appreciated how comfortable and convenient it was. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a serene and family-friendly place to stay! Let me know if this works!

Robert's place is a spacious annex. The bed is comfortable. The bathroom is pleasant and the shower is powerful. The kitchen is very well equipped. Access and parking are convenient. The smart TV is large and easy to use. Robert provides milk, cereal, juice, bread, butter and marmalade. Overall this is an excellent Airbnb - one of the best we've stayed in.

I have stayed here a couple of times now. It is nice self contained unit in a very convenient spot for everything. Will be going back again. Thank you

The studio was great and well worth the money, supermarkets close by and I had everything I needed. Rachel communicated really well and was very quick to respond. The studio was beautifully decorated and I loved all the little touches. I would definitely stay again.

Stephen and Stefanie were great hosts. Very accommodating and communicative throughout our stay. We have two young children and there was a wonderful playroom to keep them occupied. Amenities were easy to use and clean. Would definitely come back!

Really friendly host and lovely place. Close enough to major tube stations. Place was warm and cozy and felt like home and not just isolated and staying somewhere foreign.

I enjoyed my stay at Rangi's annex. The accommodation was perfect for me - private - but I liked the idea of being attached to the main house, in case I needed anything . The kitchen was very well appointed. Thank you, Rangi, for your kindness and making me feel so welcome.

Lovely place to stay in Surrey, quiet and serene. The apartment was spotless and everything we needed was there. Walking distance to restaurants and pubs and they didn’t disappoint, A very pleasant and comfortable weekend for which we have to thank Gillian, if the opportunity comes along again we would not hesitate to book The Haven again.

This is one of the best Airbnb experiences I have had! Denise & Jonathan made me feel extremely welcomed, and were gracious enough to let me check in early and check out late because of my flight times. The studio is beautiful and has lovely natural light. It was quiet, and had enough kitchenette tools for me to make easy meals. One thing which stood out was the fact that Denise & Jonathan stocked the studio with necessary little essentials upon arrival- like little energy bites, homemade jam & croissants, tea and coffee, and even my milk of choice. Plus, there were plenty of toiletries to use in case you forgot something. Super welcoming, responsive, and friendly! Would 100% stay again.

The property is far from the main house so it does not feel like you are intruding on anyone else’s space, easy to locate and instructions were very clear. The hosts were very thoughtful to leave snacks and food for us to have should we need anything. All the appliances were fully functional and clean, however the fire alarm is very sensitive, even with windows and doors open, so be mindful of this if you plan to cook. We had a lovely stay, and will be back again❤️
