Tucked away in a wooded acre yet just minutes from the Pacific, this cabin is the perfect beach retreat.

This unique getaway cabin has a style that is all its own! When you arrive, you will be greeted by the warmth cedar wood, touchable textures, and architectural angles throughout the space. This charming two bedroom and one bathroom 60's inspired chalet styled cabin has a lot of personality, and an open floor plan. The space can sleep upto 4 adults, and is in a quiet neighborhood location less than 5 minutes from the amenities of Westport. Adult (over 18 years old) guests are preferred.

The Saltbox was originally built back in 1940, but given a full face lift for its new adventure! Our cottage is dog friendly and located between Ocean Shores and Seabrook, about a 15 minute drive to each. Whether you're looking to enjoy the sound of the ocean from the balcony, a cozy fire down in the pit, game nights with the family, or a quiet space for you and your pups, we hope you'll find it here. Perfect for entertaining with a large outdoor patio, fire pit, and barbecue grill. Quick drive to downtown Long Beach for shopping, dining, and the Discovery Trailhead. 2 bedroom 1 bath cabin sleeps 4 comfortably 5 total. 2 Bedrooms, each with a queen bed. Queen futon in the living room. Walking distance to market, brewpubs and great restaurants. About 1/4 mi to the beach and heart of Long Beach. Hiking, beachcombing, shopping and museums close by. Large yard, propane fire pit on the covered porch. WiFi, TV, DVD's, RedBox 1 block away. Located in the Marina District of Westport, Westport offers exceptional fishing excursions. The Marina is lined with shops and restaurants and dockside crabbing and fishing. We are 1 block from the iconic Observation Tower that is the starting point of a paved hiking/biking path that meanders along Half Moon Bay to the Jetty, where the number one surfing spot in the state is located! Whether you're a winter storm watcher, fisherman or surfer, our location is ideal.

The Salt Shack: Westport Beach Cabin

Make memories on the coast: visit the historic lighthouse, book a fishing charter, surf, tour the winery, walk the soft sand beaches and bird watch. The beach, paved beach trail and lighthouse are a short 1/2 mile walk from the cabin. The 🏄‍♀️ surf break and Marina are only 4 miles. Discover nearby attractions like Twin Harbors State Park (2 miles), Westhaven State Park (2 miles) and Grayland Beach State Park Drive-On Beach Access (6 miles).

Our cabin is on a quiet country road. While nestled in the trees, the cabin sits on a bluff and offers amazing views of the Columbia. It is 45 min. from Astoria, and 60 min. from Long Beach. Sit on the porch and watch river traffic, eagles and deer. Build a fire, in the fireplace, or the firepit. play games or read. Relax on the porch with a cup of coffee, tea or a glass of wine and enjoy the stunning view of the river and the wildlife.

Great Indoor/Outdoor Space - Kid/Dog Friendly

Nice cabin nestled in a woodsy setting, yet close to the ocean - great open floor plan with cedar lined vaulted ceilings. Fantastic outdoor space with large deck & fire pit area. Get in touch with nature with the ocean close by- very peaceful setting! Couples have comfortable space but yet don't have that feeling of being 'lost' in a large home, while groups up to 7 guests have ample room and aren't crowded.
