The accommodations were not only beautifully furnished but also incredibly comfortable. The added amenities, including the pool, hot tub, and gym, made our stay even more enjoyable, offering plenty of options for relaxation and fitness. We also loved how close the cottage was to the local restaurants and the beach—it was the perfect location for a relaxing getaway. A gem of an Airbnb! The hosts truly thought of everything and this was the perfect place to stay with two young kids; in fact, my son loved the bunkbed and toys so much he refused to go to bed every night! From the tonies box and kids toys, to all the beach and baby gear, there wasn’t one thing they lacked. The place was clean and organized and felt so cozy. I highly highly recommend this place, especially for families! The hosts were so friendly and accommodating as well.

Nice private area, close by to a few small-towns for groceries, gas, etc. Property was very scenic and often only sounds that could be heard were birds. Slept 5 comfortably and never felt crowded. 10/10

Lovely one night stay at this sweet little cottage! Grounds are well-kept, enjoyed morning coffee on the front porch. AC kept it nice and cool. Convenient location close to a great donut shop- Congdon’s and our favorite ice scream spot- Scoop Deck. Chloe is a gracious host and even granted us a late check-out!

Cottage in Shapleigh a.k.a. CampTallPines exceeded our expectations. I was looking for a nice place as a mid-point to meet my adult daughter who lives in northern ME. I invited my mother (86) to join us. The cottage was recently renovated, the kitchen was perfect with all new appliances/gadgets, the bathrooms were beautiful, the beds were very comfortable and furnished with duvets covers and overall the cottage was homey with a beautiful mix of old and new. As for the outside, Christina and Liz have created a magical place for kids, young and old, to enjoy. We enjoyed a 55 degree day and walked to the lake, visited a maple farm, sat by the fire pit with wine, watched March Madness, and just enjoyed quality time together. It was perfect!

My gal pal friends and I had an excellent and memorable stay at Audrey and Seb's place. From the moment you walk into the entryway, through each bedroom and shared space, you will be blown away by the exquisite decor and comfortable accommodations. The kitchen is expansive, modern, and great for cooking a full meal. The property is beautifully set in the woods, bringing all the more charm to your visit. Entry was easy, and the hosts are very friendly and communicative. I'd definitely stay there again!

We loved our stay at the Gull Cottage!! Karen and Steve were great hosts, incredibly friendly, helpful, and responsive. The cottage was well stocked with everything we needed to enjoy our stay. The guide book and guest book were great touches as well, and we would happily stay again next time we come up to Maine! We could not recommend the Gull Cottage more if you’re looking for a great and cozy place to stay near Portland!

Our group of 4 had a wonderful stay here. It had everything we needed and John was extremely helpful. We cooked several meals and visited nearby attractions.

This place is perfect! The house is so cute and cozy we didn’t want to leave. The hosts left a hand written card and a bottle of wine for us when we arrived, which was so thoughtful. Beautiful views and tons of privacy. Would highly recommend this stay to anyone!

What an amazing setting! Right on the water. We saw seals, osprey, and, we think, an eagle.Also the most beautiful sunrise. The house is cozy and comfortable and really really clean. We found everything we needed and some thoughtful extras. Tamara is an excellent host!

Beth’s place was the best weekend getaway from the city for my friends and I. The place was great and perfect for what we were looking for. I would highly recommend. Beth was a great host!

The ideal autumn getaway. A cozy cabin with a warm fire. The soothing sound of rain in the roof. Generous hosts and golden leaves. We loved our stay.

Our stay at Cheryl's cottage was great. The location of the cottage is super convenient! Cheryl's cottage is walkable to the town of Bridgton, including the public beach. It is about a 30 minute drive to North Conway, NY and the White Mountains. Cheryl's description of her cottage is extremely accurate! The cupcakes waiting for us was such a lovely touch. Cheryl is a communicative and responsive host. I look forward to staying at her cottage again in the future!

Perfect little Maine cabin getaway! We enjoyed our stay so much. The cabin was clean, easy to find, and had everything we needed for four people and two dogs. Cannot recommend enough!

Beautiful place! Easy walk to the beach and comfortable environment

We have been coming to Ogunquit/Wells in the summer for about 10 years, and this was our first time trying Summer Village, and it was a truly fantastic stay! The cottage location is situated between Ogunquit and Wells and is easily accessible to both of those beaches and destinations nearby. ‘A’ could not have been a nicer, more responsive host and it made the logistics of planning very easy. Know going into it that you are bringing your own linens and towels, and there are some standard rules about the larger property, but the cottage has everything you could need and it was very welcoming. In A’s cottage, you have easy ability to sleep a family of 5. There is a fully stocked kitchen and gas grill. But the biggest unexpected perk was all the amenities of the Summer Village property. 3 pools, bocce, tennis, a rec room with games, and a free on-site trolley to get you around every 20 minutes. The stay was incredibly relaxing and I would highly recommend this for young families!

We felt truly comfortable and at home in the Knotty Pine Cottage. We spent 19 days there! My husband was working again in the area and the job site was 5 minutes away. On his days off we took advantage of hiking the numerous Boothbay Region Land Trust properties. We highly recommend Porter Preserve, Oven's Mouth Preserve and Oak Point Farm. We loved walking around beautiful Ocean Point and an afternoon on Popham Beach. We also spent an afternoon reading our books at Barrett's Park. The house is well stocked with everything you'll need to prepare meals and there is a Hannaford Grocery store 10 minutes away. We recommend The Thistle Inn in Boothbay Harbor if you enjoy crabcakes that are made from scratch. We're looking forward to our next trip back to Southport and hope the cottage will be available. Many many thanks to our responsive hosts! They made us feel welcome and comfortable in their home!!

Beautiful location, perfect stay with amazing hosts! This was the perfect getaway for our family and we cannot wait to go back! The location can't be beat and Kate and Barry went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. Highly recommend!

The location was amazing. Just a few steps to Crescent Beach. I actually took my coffee down there and watched the sunrise in the morning. So beautiful. The cottage was clean and comfortable. Kristin was very responsive and helpful. Don't miss out on the clam chowder at the Lobster Pound less than 100 meters away. We'd definitely come again.

Don’t tell anyone about Shelley’s place! We want to be the only ones to be there!!!!! We had a beautiful time ! Me, my daughter and her 2 yr old son. The lake is soooooo clear and relaxing. Canoed every day. Loons in the lake everyday. Went and picked blueberries and went to the children’s museum😃 Close to Portland! We’ll bring the Daddy next time! Thanks Shelley

Perfect fall cottage so close to Portland! The cottage is so peaceful and quiet. But so close to Portland but you wouldn’t even know it. The farm is lovely and we took a walk down to the river on the property, it was so peaceful and so much land! If you are looking for a get away from a city, but want to be able to explore Portland and Kennybunks, this was the perfect spot. I don’t know if I’ve slept that good all year. Would definitely come back again. And we love Trooper the dog!
