Had an amazing time here and didn’t want to leave! Our favorites were the location (across the street from the beach) and hot tub. I was especially impressed with how well stocked the kitchen was - we never needed to buy coffee or spices for cooking.

This is an absolute prime location to see the ocean out the large window. You can watch the sunrise and the changing colors of the sky and water. It’s a convenient short walk to the beach. There was a beach cart available to carry beach toys and towels onto the beach. The kitchen good cooking pots and pans as well as other cooking equipment. It’s a short walk into town for their restaurants and ice cream place. Local fish markets provide fresh fish. There are many local parks in the vicinity. They have hiking trails and good locations for viewing birds and seals. We particularly enjoyed visiting Montauk Lighthouse. We plan to return to this place again…

You will be surprised to be able to see the sunrise from your bedroom, have cocktails on a little beach on the brackish Shrewsbury River with windsurfers trying their luck, walk to Bahr's seafood resto or Proving Ground tavern with good beer and food and views -- great location and quiet at night and interesting to watch clammers ride out in their little boats in the morning.

This is truly a gem. It's a sweet little cottage that has a genuine cozy feel to it. It also felt very roomy and had a very inviting lived-in feel. It has everything you could EVER need and fully stocked with all the essentials for cooking and entertaining a small family. Donna was a wonderful host and we fully intend to stay with her again next year!

Wir haben die Annehmlichkeiten dieser gemütlichen Unterkunft sehr genossen. Der grosse Esstisch und die Sofas sind so angelegt, dass wir auch bei dem schlechten Wetter eine wunderschöne Sicht nach draussen und auf das Wasser hatten. Die Küche war sehr gut zum Kochen ausgestattet und die Betten waren bequem. Ausserdem gibt es in jedem Zimmer genügend Stauraum. Uns hat der Aufenthalt in der Nebensaison sehr gefallen und wir können die Unterkunft wirklich sehr empfehlen.

We absolutely loved this little bungalow and can’t wait to come back! It is so close to the beach and there are a couple restaurants and bars within walking distance. A ton of other restaurants and bars less than a 10 minute drive away. And Trish is one of the nicest people I’ve ever met! We chose this Airbnb specifically because it was dog friendly and really wanted to give our oldest girl (13) at least one more beach vacation. Trish was super accommodating with the dogs and the beach was calm and perfect for them.

We’ve stayed at this house for the past few years and it’s been a great experience each time. Michael has always been a friendly host who communicates promptly. Thank you.

My husband and I were in town for a music festival and this was the perfect home base for us! It’s a bit small but was perfect for two of us and you can’t beat the location! Similar to other reviews, not having linens already there is kind of a pain - we borrowed sheets and towels from family because it was too much to travel with but then had to make sure we had time to wash and dry them before checking out and giving them back. Regardless, we would stay here again!

Had a great weekend- the house was in a great location, and had a great backyard. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking to vacation in the area!

Lovely, airy and peaceful home close to many beaches and live music. Had every amenity we could want.

Cody’s place is very cute. It’s small but it has all you need. We were there in the winter so we didn’t get a chance to enjoy the outside space, but I can imagine that in the summer it’s a great place to relax after the beach. I will definitely be coming back.

I cannot say enough good things about Denise, Rachel, and their beautiful bungalow paradise - they were so kind, so responsive and helpful, gave incredible local recommendations, it was heaven! The only downfall was that coming back to reality was so difficult after such a perfect stay, we didn’t want to leave!!! House and location is tranquil and private, clean and easy to navigate, every amenity you could want or need, few blocks walk to the beach, easy quick drive to both Asbury and Sandy Hook, I truly can’t recommend enough. Thank you Denise and Rachel so much for such an incredible stay and for making us feel right at home!

Incredible spot to stay in the town of Asbury Park! Michelle is a wonderful and responsive host with a home that really caters to both gathering and R&R! The house itself is cozy, super easy to find, has ample parking, clean, spacious. She provides great ideas on local places to eat and for entertainment. We give her and this home our highest recommendation.

The thing that stood out from the beginning was how helpful, responsive, and friendly Michael was. He answered all of my questions promptly. The home was exactly that…a home for us for 2 weeks. It sits by the Esopus creek and I can see how fun it could be in the summer with the kayaks, grill and fire pit. The beds are comfortable and my husband had no problems working with the desk area and internet. I highly recommend this property and we will be looking to rent it again!

The Neptune home was unique in our experience, with its witty, chic decor, unusually inviting and well thought out. With regard to the level of care and trust put into her offering, it was unlike most Airbnbs that we have experienced. We were comfortable and delighted. Our only issue was with the automated August door lock, which once we mastered it, worked fine. (We are in our 70s and grew up with actual keys. )The location is not by the beach or within walking distance from town, but rather is tucked into a block of small homes. We found it to be safe and quiet, and knew that we would be remote and reliant on our car going in. This home has so much to offer, it fully compensates for its location, which is a close drive to everything.
