Fantastic and peaceful place - highly recommend!

The Hockey Room is a nice little retreat nestled in the woods. Direct access to the ice rink was a huge plus! Amazing experience skating in the woods. The room design is unique with the ladder to the loft. Queen bed was comfortable (on the soft side) and plenty of extra pillows under the bed. Driving in the last bit was tricky with my 2wd Equinox but I got help getting unstuck! Nice recommendation for restaurants in town, especially Mexican Roadhouse. Also amazing sunset view at the Frankfort lighthouse. Overall highly recommend for close access to Crystal Mountain and Sleeping Bear destinations!

Over the top amazing place to stay. Beautiful, comfortable and adorable! Seth and Kelsey were outstanding hosts and my husband and I were so impressed, these two should give lessons on how to be the perfect hosts!!! The food was amazing and they also slipped in a little birthday surprise for me. The property was so well maintained and the hot tub and fire pit were a welcome surprise and we enjoyed meeting other guests fixing s’mores!! I forgot to sign the guest book so will be back soon!!

This home is a gem! The location is so private, wooded and beautiful. We enjoyed the hike to the lake view available on property. The home was so welcoming and cozy. I didn't want to leave! We will definitely be back!

Wonderful place to stay, this place had everything and worked great for our bachelorette party group of 14! Everything was clean and neat, easy to find a use, and Barb was very helpful with any question we had! Traverse city was an easy 20 minute drive. The farm animals were fun to have around as well! We loved it and highly recommended this place!

We had a great time and the location was perfect! Walkable to the ski slopes gave us the flexibility to come and go as we needed! Great space to hang out after a long day of skiing and full kitchen made meals easier! Had a wonderful time and would recommend!

Spent the weekend here for my wife's birthday with some friends. Great location for winery tours/local food, and everything you would need inside and out. Roger is a very responsive host and willing to do whatever it takes to make your stay as welcoming as possible. Plenty of room inside the house for sleeping for 3 adult couples, could've even fit a 4th no problem in the loft. Home was spacious and the screened in porch is a great hangout spot overlooking the lake.

We were looking for a winter get away and this was THE best! Although Gaylord has received record snowfall this year, the directions and roads were accessible and easy. Groceries, restaurants and activities all accessible. It was great to come back to the cozy cabin and relax in the hot tub after a busy day out in the snow! The pool table and games were a nice addition as well. We took in hiking, X-C skiing, and a horse drawn sleigh ride at Cooks Farm down the road (highly recommend this family farm activity-they were great!). It snowed every day and we woke up to over 10" of snow the day we left. Dorene and John happily volunteered to dig us out if needed but we got out just fine and roads had been plowed several times during the night. Dorene and John were very accomodating with early check-in, info on area activities and local eats. The cabin was clean, welcoming, well-equipped, and handbooks to answer any questions. Would like to come back in the summer!

We enjoyed our stay at the Treehouse. Beautiful home as pictured. Clean and well stocked with all the basics we needed. Fireplace was great for cold winter nights. Bed was comfortable. It was a bonus to be able to bring our dog with us. Drive to Bellaire was a little tricky due to weather conditions. AWD vehicle needed on Maple Lane during heavy snowfall. Overall great time enjoying all the snow up North and exploring the area. Bellaire is a nice town but many of the restaurants around the area were closed for the winter.

Great host! We enjoyed our stay. Awesome location. We’ve stayed in TC many time and this is our favorite. We hope to stay with Fernando again in the future. Thanks for making us feel at home!

Maria’s place is an absolute gem! We stayed three nights over NYE and it was exactly what we needed! It is a gorgeous cabin with thoughtful touches … very peaceful yet close enough to anything you would need. Although, it’s very well appointed so quite easy to just stay in and get cozy by the fire. We drove to Sleeping Bear Dunes area which was not too far and found the drive to be very beautiful! The best part was the snow we woke up to New Year’s Day … just magical and our dogs loved it. 10/10 recommend!

Lee’s place is awesome location if you’re looking to stay in northern Michigan. Lots to do within walking distance to Traverse City but also very centrally located to other towns and things you’ll want to do/see in the area. Highly recommend!

We loved our stay here! Ken and Rhonda were the perfect hosts, they were very flexible with check in and check out times and available to us during our stay. The stay is in a renovated garage next to their house, but we felt like we had lots of privacy and the setting with the pond and lots of land is wonderful. Everything seemed new, clean, and comfy, with lots of games that our kid loved. We loved the location, it felt remote but was also very convenient to everything we like to do in the area!

This was a great place to stay! We loved the location and the fenced in yard made bringing our dogs with us even better. My husband and I had a great time spending New Years playing pool in the basement. The location was so convenient to town but so quiet and private- we loved watching all of the deer outside. Just a small hiccup with check-in, as the key was not where the host had indicated, but it ended up working out after a while.

The tiny house was just wonderful. Lisa has put into lots of considerations in building this small but well equipped space. We brought our dog and cat, who were warmly welcomed by Lisa. The house was clean, organized, and cute. All of us had a great time spending a couple of nights there. Would definitely come back.

Tom was a great host. Communicative and responsive! The place was clean and was exactly as described. We had everything we needed. The view was lovely even with all of the snow! We had brought our dogs and Tom was great about this. Would stay again!

We thoroughly enjoyed out stay in this gorgeously updated condo with a lake view. Patty and Al are friendly and responsive and gave us terrific recommendations for dining, sight-seeing, and making the most of our stay. The condo itself is lakeside and the many windows offer lovely views - both sunrise and sunset. Downtown restaurants and gift shops in Boyne City are just a short walk away along the waterfront, passing parks and boat launches along the way. We visited summertime but it's perfectly situated for skiers as well.

We had a wonderful weekend and totally enjoyed the Condo. It was clean, organized and we felt right at home. We most definitely would stay there again. It was perfect!! Thank you so much for allowing us to rent from you. It was nice to have a home, instead of just hotel rooms. Excellent experience.

Absolutely loved the location of this rental! It was like a 3 minute walk over to the yellow chair. So, so easy! The condo is also fully stocked with anything you might need for cooking breakfast, lunch and dinner. It is decorated super cute, was clean and very accommodating. We would stay here again for another ski trip.

This location was perfect for our winter get away. Check in was easy, the house was clean and ready for us to enjoy time with our family. We were a group of 8 people, four adults and four children. there was space for all of us to spread out and enjoy time inside as well as outdoors. Beds were extremely comfortable! The cabin was located close to many activities such as shopping in Gaylord and snowtubing at Boyne Mountain. Andreia was helpful in providing suggestions for things to do. our group enjoyed using the club house pool as well. overall our stay was perfect. I would absolutely book this same cabin again for another family vacation.

Our family enjoyed our stay. It was comfortable with all the amenities, and decorated beautifully for the holidays. Our host Marc was very welcoming. We would happily stay here again if our group size and timing work out!

Very clean and up to date. Decorated to feel like your at home. Amazing spa shower and king size bed was very comfortable. My husband and I have stayed at several Airbnb’s and others could take a lesson from Kara on the correct way to run a bnb. We’ll definitely be renting this spot in the future.

The location is everything! Ski in/ski out really made this trip, especially if you have young kids who need frequent breaks. And the fire pit brought the non skiers out and helped make them feel apart of the activity. Inside was clean and accommodating. The kitchen is fully stocked with pots and pans. Driving to the cabin was difficult. 3 cars with 4 wheel drive got stuck with the fresh snow. Do not ignore the 4 wheel drive warning in the winter months!

We stayed here for a soccer tournament weekend with 3 other families (total of 8 kids and 7 adults) and had plenty of room. Everything was great. The location is beautiful, just a little tricky to get to. The place was clean and comfortable and had everything we needed. Would definitely stay here again!
