this place was just so beautiful..right in town yet so peaceful and private. nice get away. the linens are also very nice from towels to bedding...it is very cozy very nice. I would recommend and I would definitely stay again

Wonderful house, with an even better location. We were so close to the park and lots of hiking, as well as a short drive to Fayetteville. We really enjoyed our stay and our dog was happy too! We felt right at home. The hosts went above and beyond when it snowed and shoveled our walkway up to the house. Would highly recommend!

My fiancé and I stayed in Red Bud with our little dog for 6 nights and loved it so much! The view was incredible and we enjoyed how quiet our surroundings were. Having a cup of coffee on the porch every morning was like a dream. The cabin was clean and very well stocked. We were surprised because it had everything we needed plus more! Most cabins are bare bones but not this. Also if you are someone in need of internet, the internet was perfect and gave us no trouble. We also arrived at night and it was of course very dark, I messaged Rich to help us get to the cabin and he called me and stayed on the phone with us until we were there, which was super appreciated. As far as activity recommendations, the immediate area is pretty remote, but we drove one day (about 40 mins maybe?) to Hanging Rock Raptor Observatory (short but very pretty hike!) and then went to the Cheese ‘n More Store for a sandwich after. The perfect day trip! Both are worth the drive/visit. We will be back!

We had a wonderful stay at Laura’s Airbnb and frankly, it exceeded our expectations! The space was perfect for our group, plenty of bathrooms and exceptionally comfortable. We also appreciate the little welcome snack basket! New River Gorge and the surrounding area is such a special place and we look forward to returning to this house in the future! Thank You!

Perfect little getaway place. We had this on our wishlist for awhile to check out. This is a great place as it is close to many of the hiking trails . Roger was great, very clear and timely with instructions.

Dave was great! Check-in was super easy, the place is very nice, there is plenty to do in the surrounding area, and if you have questions he's very responsive. Would stay again!

This is the perfect spot for a bachelor party weekend. We came out to do some white water rafting, so the location was perfect. The pool, hot tub, outdoor grill setup is top notch. Our only criticism is that the kitchen is a bit of a wreck with a ton of water leaking out of the fridge and a heck of a lot of mold growing under the sink. That doesn't bother 9 guys on a rafting trip, though. Absolutely would come back!

The Banker’s House was a great place for my honeymoon with my husband! It was very small, but cozy for the two of us. The location is perfectly placed between Beckley, Fayetteville, and New River Gorge making it easy to find something to do or eat. My only recommendation is to bring a small humidifier with you if you are partial to dry air/heat. The heating was comfortable, and we didn’t want to change the temperature, but I did find myself having very dry skin, hair, and nose. Nonetheless, The Banker’s House is great, and we would 100% stay here again!

Victor was very responsive, and understanding. It’s quaint and quiet. Absolutely beautiful. We would definitely stay here again.
