Good house in a walkable neighborhood - live music and a few restaurants right around the corner

A very nice and restored historic place. Lots of decor! The house is big enough for small or large gatherings. A 5 minute drive to Lake Erie beach. You would be amazed as soon as you walk in the door. The host is pleasant and commendating.

We stayed at this location for multiple months, including Thanksgiving and Christmas as we were displaced from our home due to a fallen tree. During the warm months, there is a wonderful secluded backyard patio with waterfall and swing seat. This house easily became a home and we are grateful for the space and conveniences it offered.

This was a great place to stay at. Location was perfect for what we needed. You can see the lake from the house which is a great feature. The house was overall very clean. There did end up being a significant trail of ants in the downstairs bedroom. However, this was likely due to the wet weather. The host was responsive when we informed of the problem and sent over someone to spray for the ants the next day which was definitely appreciated. Definitely recommend this Airbnb!

This was a top-five Airbnb experience for me and my family. The house is so comfortable, clean, thoughtfully designed and decorated. We slept soundly in the comfy beds/quiet street. What a treat to have two full baths upstairs and a half bath downstairs. Amanda was kind and responsive. I’ve already booked our next visit.

We are already looking at dates to book this bnb again this summer! We came for our babymoon with our dog so the fenced in yard was a huge help- and yes it’s actually fully enclosed and the under deck is blocked off so he couldn’t get into any nooks or crannies!! The house is adorable and easy to feel at home in, the hosts thought of everything from coffee creamer to toiletries available! I would recommend bringing a case of bottled water as the fridge water line didn’t work (not a huge deal for us but an expecting mama drinks a ton of water!) The area is quiet this time of year but we found good restaurants and enjoyed an outing to vermilion which is cute! We came for the views of the lake and had the most relaxing time. We can’t wait to come back!

Stayed at this cute apartment on a friends’ trip! The space had all of the basics you needed to live and cook. The early Spring views of Lake Erie were beautiful as we got to enjoy some warmer March weather on the deck and even witness a thunderstorm from the living room. Unobstructed views from the living room upstairs and both bedrooms downstairs really made our stay in the Lorain/Vermilion area special. The Airbnb was easy to access and located near many activities. Photos and instructions from Gjergji were accurate and very clear.

We came to Ohio for the birth of our son and stayed in the apartement for six weeks. During all this time, Chris and Jim made sure, that their venue was our "home away from home"! They were extremely welcoming and supportive, be it with equipment we needed for the baby, like a crip with changing table, or with tips what to do in the area. They fully respected our privacy, but at the same time were very interested and supportive towards our journey and our story. They were always open for a quick chat or a good longer tallk. So, after leaving back to our "normal" home, we really feel we found new friends overseas! The apartment is large and well-equipped and exactly as we expected it to be from the description and the pictures. Amherst is a very small town, but has a very nice center with a good variety of restaurants, bars/breweries and cafés. All of that is within walking distance. We hope there will be a next time and alread are looking forward to it!

Laura was great to communicate with. We were in town to visit the College and Laura gave us local recommendations. Really sweet house. The sofa bed was very comfortable (not always the case!). I would most definitely stay here again. kate

What was originally a "had to find a place for the night close to where we had to be" kind of situation turned into a very enjoyable stay, great place, great communication, good beds, lots of space and great surroundings even though it was very cold that day. Outside: inside was just right :) We even got to see a young eagle perched right outside our windows, thanks to Di who texted us to have a look! Very enjoyable stay, thanks a lot!

This place was simple, affordable, and perfect. It’s not snazzy, but it’s clean and comfortable, and it’s a GREAT place from which to be able to walk to everything in town. Plus, the host was fantastic—responses were quick and really helpful. We’ll definitely be back.

Our stay at Kelly's place was wonderful. It was an oasis of peace in a crazy world. Fantastic view of Lake Erie out the back. We saw eagles from our seats she placed at the end of the yard for us, and one night we got to view the Northern Lights! Despite being quiet and private it's a short trip in either direction to cute shops, and great restaurants. Kelly is hands down the friendliest host we've ever had with an Airbnb. Highly recommended!

Great location easy check in clean inside and had everything we needed! We visit again if in the area.

Stayed at Millie’s for 1 month. The room was just right for one person. Neighborhood is quiet. Millie was great with communications.
