Beautiful view of the lake! Valia was also very kind when 2 of my sisters decided a few days before our trip to join us for one night each. House was clean. Two showers and an extra .5 bathroom = great! I was concerned about a review from over a year ago that mentioned a cigarette smell. When we first walked in, 2 of us thought there was a slight smell right in the entrance, but it was not present throughout the house and we didn't notice it again. The backyard did have around 100 cigarette butts under the balcony but it's clear no one is smoking inside. I'd recommend bringing some extra blankets if you like more than one per bed. There were plenty of pillows. A fun town with nearby unique thrift stores, restaurants and a roller skating rink. WONDERFUL HIKING TRAILS AND WATERFALL NEARBY! I would definitely recommend this place and stay again.

The house was very clean and comfortable, it felt like our house. Bathrooms, Kitchen, stovetop and fridge was super clean. Overall everything was perfect! Location is great and relaxing! Neighborhood is quiet!!

I want to say our stay was awful...just so no one else will rent it and I can come back whenever I want but nothing could be farther from the truth! Aloha House is an exceptional home. As soon as we walked in, we were struck by all the natural light streaming in crystal clear windows and the peaceful views of the lake. The home was sparkling clean, beds were comfy with soft bed linens, and the towels were fluffy and all looked to be brand new. The attention to detail in this home was amazing! Not one single spider web inside or on the windows which is pretty impressive at the lake! And then there are the outdoor spaces. The landscaping was impeccable and beautiful. Thanks Debbie and Steve for this oasis by the lake! I hope to make your place an annual week end get a way!

DeeDee’s gorgeous retro lake house was outstanding! Fantastic views, comfortable furniture with many seating areas to gather together or have some individual space. It was like staying in a little gem of the past. I felt like I was living in a movie set from the late 60s. Loved it all! The downstairs bed was so comfortable and there was ample hot water for showers. Deedee went above and beyond setting up the deck furniture for us - even though the season for it hadn’t quite started. All around 5 stars!

Wonderful location for our book retreat - comfortable and plenty of sitting room across the entire house with a beautiful view of the lake. Loved having a bathroom on every floor and the fact that it was spacious enough that everyone had their own bed and space to lounge. Will definitely come back again!

Fantastic, huge house with all the comforts of home and stunning lake views! Our family of 2 adults and 2 college kids spent 4 relaxing nights here over Thanksgiving weekend and it was perfect : ) The main level has a living room (w/a couch that has 2 lay flat seats), dining room, kitchen (all the dishes/pots/etc you could need!), a 1/2 bath, and an adorable sitting/reading room with great lake views. The second floor has 3 bedrooms (1 w/a queen bed, 1 w/2 twins, and 1 w/1 twin) and a full bath. Plus a deck with gorgeous lake views and 2 seating areas. The top level is a huge primary bedroom suite with a king bed, lots of windows, and a full bath. There are 4 smart tvs in the house so everyone can watch what they want. The house even has thoughtful touches for winter, like comfy throw blankets and lots of tissue boxes. We highly recommend this house and will hopefully get a chance to stay here again :)

What was originally a "had to find a place for the night close to where we had to be" kind of situation turned into a very enjoyable stay, great place, great communication, good beds, lots of space and great surroundings even though it was very cold that day. Outside: inside was just right :) We even got to see a young eagle perched right outside our windows, thanks to Di who texted us to have a look! Very enjoyable stay, thanks a lot!

We are already looking at dates to book this bnb again this summer! We came for our babymoon with our dog so the fenced in yard was a huge help- and yes it’s actually fully enclosed and the under deck is blocked off so he couldn’t get into any nooks or crannies!! The house is adorable and easy to feel at home in, the hosts thought of everything from coffee creamer to toiletries available! I would recommend bringing a case of bottled water as the fridge water line didn’t work (not a huge deal for us but an expecting mama drinks a ton of water!) The area is quiet this time of year but we found good restaurants and enjoyed an outing to vermilion which is cute! We came for the views of the lake and had the most relaxing time. We can’t wait to come back!

This is a wonderful house to stay at. The host is very friendly and responsive. We simply relaxed the whole trip. The hot tub and sauna are super relaxing. The view is amazing. Lots of bird watching. I also played games with my kid on the large projector downstairs. Fully equipped kitchen. Nice soaps in the bathrooms. Would absolutely stay here again.
