This place tops my list on the houses I have had the privilege to stay in. From the rustic wrap around porches to the beautiful custom kitchen. Everything about this home feels handcrafted. Definitely a labor of love that must have taken years. And I can’t forget to mention the outdoor space. I am far from an astrologer but the night sky up on top of this mountain without all the light pollution was breathtakingly awg inspiring. And with tons of hiking trails to explore there is never a dull moment. Lastly Matt the host I would have to say is what made our stay the best yet. With all his help from navigating us there to being flexible on our check in to even accommodating us another day last minute. We couldn’t have asked for a better host. I would definitely stay here again.

This place was absolutely amazing! The house was super clean with beautiful views of the ocean. Andy made sure the house was stocked with everything we needed and gave clear instructions at check in and check out. Would definitely come stay here again and would recommend to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway weekend.

Beautiful condo in a stunningly beautiful location. Simy was a wonderful host with clear and quick communication and very helpful. The hot tub with an ocean view was something else and I’ll be recommending this spot to friends and family in future.

We had a wonderful time at Lisa’s place! The sunset view was magical. We enjoyed the hot tub at night and s’mores at the fireplace! The inside was comfortable, clean, and warm. It was such a nice place that we spent the majority of our time there. It was relaxing and peaceful to wake up the ocean view and the sounds of the waves crashing. We also really enjoyed the games that were there like mancala and scrabble. I hope to return soon! Thank you for a wonderful experience!!

We had such a great time at this Shelter Cove Airbnb. The huge deck with a fire pit was an amazing spot to unwind and enjoy the ocean views and sunset. The yard was big and perfect for our dogs to run around and although it isn’t fenced in it was still a nice place to play. The backyard off the master was fenced in and had a nice little jet tub which was great for 1 or 2 people to sit intimately together. Inside there were plenty of spots to relax and the big dining table made it easy for us to enjoy meals together. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook which was really convenient. Plus the beach was just a short walk away so it was easy to enjoy the coast whenever we wanted. Overall this place had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. We’d definitely stay here again and highly recommend it.

Brian is great. he called us to find out what time we are arriving and gave us a tour of the place. We loved it. you must try the Pizza from avenue cafe very well made.

This was our second stay at Shannah’s and it was just what we needed. We had some pretty spectacular sunsets again and some amazing walks on black sands beach. Our little pup really loved sitting out on the deck and watching the goats and chickens and the early morning deer. The sounds of the ocean and the vibes of this peaceful little cabin are so relaxing. We stayed warm and cozy with the fireplace even though it’s still a little chilly this time of year. We hope to be back again. Thanks again, Shannah!

Lovely home in a great location! We enjoyed our stay at Mona & Jeff's place. Check in was a breeze and great communication from the hosts. Perfect location! The home was close to so many restaurants and things to do. We were able to walk to everything. Our main focus of our trip was to visit the Redwood National Park and the house was the perfect place to do so. The house was clean and cozy! Large kitchen with everything needed. Coffees and teas provided was a very nice touch. Soft towels and bedding was a major plus. Very friendly neighbors as well. Mona & Jeff responded to messages quickly and even offered to come by to show us how a few things work; much appreciated! We highly recommend staying!

What a gem of a place tucked away in the Redwoods, but also with beautiful views of the ocean. Perfect location close to Redwoods Airport and in the heart of the coastal Redwoods territory that we were there to explore. House itself was well appointed with chic modern design and all the amenities we needed. Ended every evening with a hot tub sit, while looking at and listening to the ocean. Would definitely stay again!!!
