Lot-et-Garonne : locations de vacances dans des châteaux

Nous étions 5 pour une nuit, maison au calme, vue sur la vallée comme annoncé. Maison très agréable Hôte réactive pour répondre aux questions, ma première expérience qui fut parfaite

Genevieve did everything in her power to ensure we had a wonderful experience at her beautiful chateau. The pictures do not do the castle and it’s surroundings justice and the entertainment we hired for the party we had there was superb. I can highly recommend Eric and his band. The rooms are all unique and beautiful and we hosted our 32 guests comfortably. With a combination of romantic suites and family rooms, several dining areas and receptions, a bar and a fab great hall entrance the look and feel of the decor was very much in keeping of a medieval chateau. It’s a wry old castle so it is totally unique and has the aroma of an incredibly old place but the kitchen and linen were all very clean and the chateau has every mod con you could want. The professionally kitted out kitchen made cooking for many a simple pleasure and although the bbq was small (considering the numbers we catered for) it was not a problem with a professional oven to assist. The pool is large with basic furniture housed next to the care takers geet. The caretaker and his wife spoke no English so communication was kept to a minimum. The supermarket and village are a five minute drive away with good local produce and hospitality. We didn’t go sight seeing this time but plan to return in the future where we hope to do so. We had a wonderful stay at Château Ladausse. Eric, Diane and their dog (Skippy) are the most gracious hosts. We thoroughly enjoyed our time at this beautiful location. We had lovely meals, breakfasts and fun learning about wines of the region. We felt most welcome and comfortable at this fairytale château. Can’t wait to visit again!

The Chateau is really nice and spacious and it has everything needed for a holiday in the south of France. Also communication, checking in and out went very well. Our group had a great time at this accomodation and we highly recommend it to others!

Nous avons séjourné, mon partenaire et moi, dans une belle chambre du château avec Marc et Florence. Dès notre arrivée, ils ont été très attentifs à notre bien-être. Chaque matin, ils nous ont préparé un délicieux petit-déjeuner, que nous avons partagé en échangeant des conversations intéressantes. Marc nous a fait découvrir les espaces communs, comme les salles à manger, en nous racontant l’histoire de chacun d’eux, car le château appartient à sa famille depuis longtemps. Nous avons pu garer notre voiture juste devant l’entrée du château, ce qui était très pratique. La partie orientée au sud est magnifique, baignée de soleil tout au long de la journée. Un séjour inoubliable dans un lieu chargé d’histoire, avec des hôtes chaleureux et attentionnés. Merci encore à Florence et Marc :)

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour aux gîtes de Born. Nous avions réservé les 3 gîtes pour 14 personnes, les 2 principaux communiquent, il faut passer par l’extérieur pour accéder au dernier. Le logement était parfaitement propre, très sain pour une maison ancienne, et très bien équipé, notamment au niveau de la cuisine. Les lits étaient confortables, la piscine était chauffée, et le jardin est très agréable.

Nous avons passé une semaine en famille dans la très belle maison/chateau de Servane. Il y a quatre chambres dont deux avec des lits recents. Draps et oreillers de qualité. La cuisine est très bien équipée, une vraie cuisine de famille où on trouve tout pour preparer de bons repas. La maison est grande. Nous étions six adultes et nous avons bien profité de notre semaine avec un peu de sport, piscine, déjeuners sous un grand tilleul, promenades, visites des bastides. Et nous revenons avec plaisir au Chateau des Trois Tours (dont il ne reste que deux)! Nous avons aussi bien apprécié le vin blanc « entre deux mers » de la domaine offert par Servane.

We stayed 1 night at this magnificent place. The castle is right by the road, but the location is discreet and suits perfectly if you'd like some peace and quiet. It is perfect for romantic getaways, the place simply charms you with elegant décor and architecture of the house, majestic oak and sequoia (!) trees around, and a lovely forest and lake nearby. We received a very warm welcome, breakfast was served in a spacious dining room overlooking the green yard. Florence and her husband were so kind to tell us stories about origin of the place, and to give a small tour around the house. We brought a 1928 year edition of the French magazine as a souvenir back home with us :) Everything in this place is about history that is carefully preserved by very caring hosts. Would love to come back again and again.

Have been to many airbnbs. This one was so special. Eric and Diane are amazing hosts. Even though you are in an old chateau in a remote area you feel at home, comfortable and well fed. Third communication was timely and helpful. Don’t miss having one of Diane’s amazing dinners. Enjoy some time by the pool. Many thanks for an incredible weekend.

An unforgettable experience. We felt like royalty at the top of the hill. We felt that we were living in a place of deep history. You can imagine all your historical stories happening in this setting. Less luxury than we sometimes think of in a castle and more ancient beauty and lasting appreciation.

Vi har haft den dejligste ferie (som vi forlængede) hos Diana og Eric. Stedet var lige så dejligt som det stod omtalt og værtsparret var så søde og behjælpelige med alt vi havde brug for. Vi har virkelig nydt suiten på 2. Sal samt både morgenmaden og poolen. Det var bestemt den lange køretur fra Danmark værd og vi kommer helt sikkert igen. Vores eneste ønske hvis vi skulle komme med et, ville være at Diana åbnede sit dejlige køkken for os gæster alle aftener så vi ikke behøvede at køre rundt efter restauranter, men bare kunne sidde på gårdpladsen og lade os forkæle, mens mørket faldt på.

Anne-Sophie was a lovely host, very communicative, helpful and friendly. The place was excellent and was a great place to stay. We were very grateful that breakfast was supplied in the morning (it was lovely) and the care and attention we were shown was excellent. There was a slight issue with the listing description … the listing states (pictures and blurb) that there are 4 bedrooms however upon checking in we were told that only 3 were available. It wasn’t a problem as there were enough beds but I think the listing needs updating or some more clarity around the bedrooms is needed.

The most wonderful Air B n B’s we’ve ever used. Our room was truly stunning, clean and had everything we needed. Eric and Diane were so kind, friendly, helpful and hospitable. We were so happy staying in the chateaux, and stunned by the grounds, swimming pool and beauty of the location. We would 100% recommend to anyone looking to stay in the area!
