Absolutely fantastic location at the base of Edinburgh Castle. Short walking distance to great restaurants in Grassmarket. Accommodation was exactly as described and perfect for our stay. Would have loved to stay longer as it felt like home. Great directions and instructions through out the entire stay.

Wow! Our family of 5 and our 3 travelling companions had an amazing visit to Glasgow (our first). Suzy’s place was exactly as described and pictured in photos. It was very clean and easy to access. Very close to great restaurants and attractions. Suzy was an incredible host and extremely accommodating and responsive. Thank you for making our first trip to Scotland an amazing one.

The perfect place for a stay in Edinburgh! The apartment itself is so cute and has all the necessities. It’s within a 15 minute walk to most of what you’d want to see and there’s so many restaurants and cafes nearby. I will say, we came during Saint Patrick’s day and there are many pubs nearby which made it a little loud at night so keep that in mind if you’re traveling during a holiday but other than that we had a great stay!

Suzy and team were fantastic and helpful at responding and answering any queries! The place was incredibly clean and amazing!! I would definitely recommend it to other people :)

We can’t say enough great things about Geoff and Marie’s place. Everything was perfect. Beds comfy, kitchen filled with utensils, comfortable living and dining areas, lovely outside, I could go on and on in how great our stay was. Oh did I mention central location, close to many great places to visit, a home away from home.

This is the second time I've stayed in this apartment, and I recommend it with my eyes closed! It's close to the city center, the train station and the best restaurants in Glasgow. I'll definitely be back.

Booked this last minute due to needing accommodation to visit a relative in hospital. Jacqui’s communication was clear and responsive and the accommodation fitted our needs perfectly.

A wonderful “ home from home” for the 4 of us and the dog !!! Just perfect in every way !

I would always remember the Butler’s Quarter. It was so easy for us to go places and be anywhere as the Tram was just right about the corner, as well as if we needed something the Mall was there as well. Had a shop near by as well great recommendations as well!! We would love to go back. The only thing with the little one is that we had to carry the pram up and down the stairs. That would be the only thing that we struggled with. But for everything else it was a great place felt like home for our whole stay.

Located in a great spot for people wanting to visit the more famous Edinburgh landmarks. Accommodation was very clean and it suited our needs. Taxi’s were also very easy to arrange from this location

Wir waren zwar nur eine Nacht hier, aber das Hostel liegt wirklich super. Wer die Abgeschiedenheit liebt und die ynstur ist hier genau richtig.

It was our second time at this lovely home. We were lucky to find it free for New Years Eve. We love the coziness of Iain’s apartment. I would say we feel at home. You can find everything you would need - games, books, TV.. the kitchen is very well equipped, comfortable beds. Supermarkets in 5 min walk, Bellfield brewery for a pint if ale. The centre of the city walkable distance. The park in front of the building. Iain is friendly and generous making our stay amazing.

We really enjoyed our stay at The Armoury. The apartment was spacious, clean, comfortable, well equipped and warm (despite the cold weather). The location is very convenient (with shops within easy walking distance) but tucked away/quiet (especially overnight). Catrina was helpful, friendly and responsive. Recommended.

An extremely spacious and clean living environment- Perfect for 2 people. A beautiful kitchen complete with everything you'd need, a very clean bathroom, great bedroom and a really nice balcony (I imagine it would be great if the weather was a bit better). The free parking was a godsend as the car is absolutely not required thanks to the public transport right outside the accommodation.
