Such a beautiful cabin in an incredibly property by the lake. The home is spacious and so comfortable for our extended family to hang out, cook and play games. Lots of communal spaces to spend time together, but so many private areas for sleeping and for individual families. The home was incredibly clean and Mark was easy to communicate with. Thanks for the great stay!

The Escape Hatch is the perfect get away. It's location is private and quiet but yet it is not far from numerous area activities. The large deck has gorgeous views of the lake and can accommodate all your guests. The house is very well stocked with pretty much everything you will need. The hosts are very responsive and easy to deal with, making our stay very easy and comfortable. Looking forward to our next visit.

A fantastic stay! Super clean and well cared for house, comfortable beds, and wonderful outdoor spaces and waterfront. A great lake getaway spot for small families. Note that most bedrooms (except 1) are up a creaky spiral staircase - easy for us but could be a challenge for some folks.

Nice Cabin. Super close to a food lion which was great for essentials. Host was very helpful with her direct instructions on how and where to enter the cabin and how to get there via alternative directions needed instead of the maps route. The game room downstairs was cool with the pool table as well.

We (2 adults + 2 dogs) went for Thanksgiving week; we basically had Lake Anna to ourselves -- minus 2 of Mary's wonderful neighbors. The expansive property has tons of room for dogs to run, and the two neighbors we met had friendly dogs. Humans will love the firepit, screened porch, comfy outdoor, furniture, TV, bbq grill & smoker. Inside, there's TONS of room. The beds are comfortable & bedrooms are spacious, plus there are 2 full baths (1 w/tub), and a beautiful "French country" kitchen with which my wife fell in love. The kitchen had everything you'd expect/need and more like tons of spices, plenty of boxed/canned foods, a waffle maker, a Keurig w/pods, etc. We remarked numerous times how wonderful it was to have all this at hand (compared to other places we've stayed). There are toys for kids and dogs, a canoe, plenty of board games, and several TVs. It was a perfect, peaceful, and stress-free stay in a wonderful home; we'd choose it again without hesitation. This is such a great place for a big group getaway. Unlike most places on Air BnB I feel like Sarah's place accurately states that it can accommodate up to 10 people, and actually has sleeping space for 10 people without cramming singles and bunkbeds into one room. We've already talked about using the place again!

Our family had an awesome time all together under 1 roof. The boat house was great to keep your own boat at and all the toys to pull behind. Loved sitting on back porch and campfires.

What an amazing weekend spent. My friends and I wanted to find a place that felt like home and accommodated a large party and Kevin’s home did just that. The kitchen was well stocked, rooms were clean, and the common spaces were comforting. We had plans to leave the home and visit the Winery but we enjoyed the space so much we felt no need to explore outside of the grounds.
