We had the best time experiencing the natural and urban cultures in the bayou! Henry’s place is amazing, clean, comfortable, spacious, tastefully decorated and fun! Crabbing, fishing, hot tubbing, cooking and relaxing in…and venturing into NOLA was so easy with so much to explore …and a day beach trip to Bay St. Louis was a nice surprise with gorgeous and clean white sandy beaches for miles and a cute seaside town. What a gem of a spot! A perfect blend of relaxation and exploration! The perfect family adventure!

My family loved staying here. Bywater is a great neighborhood with lots of great food and walkable. We especially loved the hot tub! Would recommend!

The pictures doesn't do this property any justice. It was much bigger in person. It was very clean and well equipped with the normal essentials. I also appreciated the coffee station as I am coffee lover and my morning cup on the rocking chair front porch was the best. The beds were so comfortable. the only issue we had was the water pressure not being strong in the 2 bathrooms upstairs. We also had an issue with heating up the spa but Jason and David were very responsive and the pool tech ended up coming by to fix the issue. once it was working, the spa was the highlight of our weekend after partying on Bourbon. Jason and David were awesome hosts, they checked in before during and after checkout to make sure we were good and provided any instructions we needed. The house was in a good location close to all the main attractions and we were able to walk to Ruby Slippers for brunch which is a must! overall, I loved this place and will always consider staying here every time we come to NO

We really enjoyed our stay here. It was as described. Check in was extremely easy, everything was clean and organized. The beds were comfortable, nightlights throughout were a nice touch, coffee make with K cups provided also nice. I wish we would have stayed longer, would have been a much more comfortable stay in The Treehouse compared to where we stayed the majority of our trip. It was nice that there was a welcome book with local activity and restaurant recommendations. Also had a guest book that we could leave a review in and look over other previous guests reviews. The only knock I would have is to me it seems like it is time for a new couch, kind of seemed to sink into it but that would be my only critique. Overall had an excellent stay. Clean, comfy, as advertised, $ rate seemed fair to me, just a nice quiet spot to stay. It was my first time in Louisiana and after my stay I would loved to come back. If I needed to stay near Shreveport again I would definitely stay here again.

This is a beautiful home in the garden district of New Orleans. It was easy to access and the communication was amazing. They checked in with us several times while we were there to see if we needed anything. The kitchen had everything we needed, the heated pool was appreciated. Everything was so clean and it is a perfect place to stay!

Great location - wonderful backyard - the hot tub was great. Wish the pool could have been heated without additional cost. Understand why it wasn’t. Gary answered questions as needed and provided lots of brochures for things to do in the area of which was nice! Would stay here again

Great house to host our band’s trip to New Orleans while we worked on recording a new album and played a couple of live shows. The space was comfortable and had everything we needed for a productive and fun week. The location was perfect—walkable to tons of great restaurants and shopping, which made our downtime that much better. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a convenient and well-kept place to stay in the city.

Everything about this house and hosts was pure perfection! Every single thing we could think of was already there waiting for us... Disposable coffee cups to take down to the dock, a sharpie for writing names on solo cups, ice maker to never run out, even bubble bath for the gorgeous tubs. The attention to detail was impressive and made our stay even more enjoyable. It felt as though we stepped in to a friend’s house who knew our needs before we did. We ended up having a rainy day, but didn’t miss out on any fun. The covered porch had plenty of space for fun and kept us dry. The 7 kids in our group range in age from 8-14… they had plenty to do and even chose to leave the phones inside and explore the property. Their favorite rooms were the bunk rooms and their favorite activity was playing ping pong. The big girls particularly enjoyed sun bathing on the dock! The memories made here for our families are absolutely priceless. It was an ideal getaway from work and stress!

This place was great for a large group. The house was clean with all the necessary amenities. It was a great location close night to walk to a few nearby restaurants and the WW2 museum.

Paradise. Big easy for sure. You should definitely choose this spot. I use AirBnB often and this was my best experience yet. Craig and the rest of the crew were always around to help but never too close. We had a wonderful vacation and attribute much of it to this cozy spot and helpful staff on Mandeville. We will definitely be back! Thank you!

This place is extraordinary, and Jeff was the consummate host. He was super-responsive, gave lots of helpful suggestions for things to do and went out of his way to make us feel fully at home with both total privacy and total availability. The home itself is wildly wonderful, exactly like the photos except more expansive inside and outside, with a lot of land. The landscape is gorgeous, and the bayou could not be prettier. I recommend this place for anyone!

We enjoyed our time at Spencer's place. The description of the townhome and its surroundings is very accurate. We were a family of 9 adults and 1 infant visiting for Christmas, and Spencer's unit met all of our needs. Spencer is a great host and he really wants to make sure his guests have a good experience. He was very responsive leading up to our trip and during our stay. He also provides direct access to his property managers. The property manager assigned to us during our stay was very helpful and checked in with me each day via text to make sure everything was ok and to see if we had any concerns. We had difficulty getting the home bluetooth speaker system to work, and Spencer and the property manager worked to get the issue resolved very quickly. We traveled with 2 extra large SUVs, and never really had any problem parking on the street directly in front of the Airbnb. There are also some eateries and bars in walking distance. I would definitely stay here again!

Michael and Marcia’s home was perfect for hosting my family and friends for Christmas. From the cozy decor to the thoughtful touches throughout the house, everything exceeded our expectations. The space was spotless, beautifully designed, and had everything we needed to make our holiday gathering feel extra special. The kitchen was fully stocked, which made preparing our Christmas dinner a breeze, and the spacious layout allowed everyone to relax and enjoy themselves comfortably. We especially appreciated the festive atmosphere and warmth of the home — it truly felt like our own little holiday retreat. Michael and Marcia were attentive and responsive, making the entire experience smooth and enjoyable. We couldn’t have asked for a better stay and will cherish these holiday memories for years to come. Thank you for opening your beautiful home to us! We hope to return soon!

Beautifully decorated large old home with lots of room close to a lot of things to do like restaurants and shops. Would stay there again loved it.

Very comfortable place to stay for two people, very responsive and friendly people really do recommend

We have stayed at several Airbnbs before, but never one like Timmy and Terese's. We immediately felt like family. Their generosity goes above and beyond. They were always willing to offer advised for things to do, places to go or where the best fishing may be. They had extensive knowlege of the area and always a good story to share. They truly wanted us to experience the Cajun culture and even shared some authentic Cajun meals with us. The pictures of the house and grounds don't do it justice. The house was clean and they made sure we had everything that we needed. The pool, the hot tub and the beatiful landscaping helped us relax and make the vacation more memorable. We went to their place with fishing and crabbing in mind. Timmy and Terese were always ready with recommendations on where to go. The choices are endless either in the bayou, the lakes or even in the back pond. We would definitely recommend this Cajun Paradise.

Amazing place! Very peaceful and relaxing. Identical to photos and was super clean. Beds were very comfortable and everything was as described. Great for a quiet weekend getaway. Had a fantastic time and will be back!

This place is absolutely beautiful, if you love nature. Being able to walk out the front door and hear nature is the most peaceful vacation we could have asked for. The place was very clean, and we loved the small touches inside of the cabin.

My girls loved this place! The house had plenty of amenities, and the owner was very responsive with the few questions we had. Easy check in and Easy to find because the instructions are very clear and precise. Not to far to hit up New Orleans and Baton Rouge located right between them, and then get home to a peaceful location! Would definitely stay there again
