This was a great location for my four-man crew, who was in the area for work. They had a comfortable and relaxing stay with enough privacy to unwind after a long work day. It was very easy to get in touch with the host, and there were no issues with the instructions provided.

David was very thoughtful and proactive; he bought new lighters and wood logs for the fire pit. We enjoyed and appreciated the Keurig coffee pods. Home is very comfortable and we had an amazing time. Check in and checkout we’re super easy.

This may be our favorite Airbnb we've ever stayed in, and we have a pretty great track record of finding awesome spots. Ann was communicating with us even before we headed to her house for our stay. She provided great instructions for operating the fireplace and bluetooth devices and laid out all of the amenities of the farm. The entire property is absolutely beautiful and peaceful. We can't wait to come back for our next stay.

WOW!!!!! IF YOU ARE EVEN THINKING OF BOOKING GO AHEAD AND DO IT YOU WONT REGRET IT I PROMISE. We fell in love with this place it's so relaxing our kids were never bored . We spent most of our days down by the doc fishing, swimming,kayaking, paddle boarding and just swinging on the hammock chair .Also don't worry if you forget something I can promise you they are going to have it literally. I love this place so much I miss it already. we are already looking on when to stay again thank you for making our little stay feel so at home ,family friendly, kid friendly and peaceful .

We loved our stay at Pelican Pier! Everything on the property was as beautiful as the pictures, all amenities were exactly as outlined, and there were many thoughtful touches offered by the host to encourage maximum enjoyment of the waterfront property. We have 4 boys (ages 8-14) and they loved the dock. We caught crabs, went fishing, and played on the small sand beach. It was too cold and windy to kayak but it was very tempting. The house has just enough common space and very nice bedroom arrangements for a family. Bringing an extra adult couple would have also worked. The house is not in a populated area - which we felt was part of the appeal! Slidell is close enough for quick trips. Downtown New Orleans is a 45 min drive but reasonable for day trips. We would definitely consider this property again if going to NOLA again.

Such a great experience! The hosts were absolutely wonderful, and the space was all you could ask for. 15 min drive to anywhere in the city and tons of amenities nearby. I will stay here if possible every time I’m back in NOLA. A+ all around!

Greta and Eric were fantastic host! Our boys really enjoyed the location and being able to play basketball next door. We loved being able to walk to the donut store and coffee shop as well! Super friendly hosts with great info and recommendations during our stay. We would definitely come back!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Suzy and Danny were overly accommodating and kind. They communicated and never hesitated or made us feel like a burden. The cabin is wonderful! It smells like Heaven and felt so warm and inviting. They have everything you could possibly need and the convenience store a few miles away in Nebo has anything else you forgot and not expensive! Including fishing supplies! We enjoyed being able to use the golf cart and the outdoor fire pit. The fish weren’t cooperating very much this time BUT thats beyond human control. We can’t wait to book again! We really could have moved right in! If this place is available for your next trip do not hesitate to book!!

Great place to stay for us and our big dog. Did a lot of walking and exploring, looking for wildlife. did a lot of birding - it was awesome. there's a marsh behind the house and a bayou across the road in front. saw some gators and beavers paddling around. we also visited the state park just down the road. nice boardwalk and of course more birding and beavers. Did not get to see black bears. Maybe next time. Had everything we needed. got to watch a storm roll in over the bay. Really enjoyed our stay. Will happily return and highly recommend.

We loved the peacefulness and the tranquillity of the place. It was the perfect place to come home to after a hectic day. My sister being from up north was thrilled to see the local wild life. We will definitely be back!!

Nautical Escape was a very pleasant surprise. We were lucky to have cool sunny weather. My grandkids had a great time playing outside. It was very clean and had the supplies we needed. Nice linens wonderful towels. My only regret is not bringing something to grill on the nice big outside grill. I’m sure we will rent it again.

Carolyn is very nice and responsive, can’t go wrong staying at her place if you’re in the area.

This place was perfect for what we went for. My husbands birthday was yesterday so we went this past weekend Friday-Sunday. We had quite a few people and it fit all of us and had everything we needed! Had zero problems over all. We loved the kayaks. My husband and I stayed in the master bedroom. We slept great! 10/10 would recommend!!

This house was perfect for our family. Lots of space inside and outside. They had a stocked kitchen with everything we needed.

This entire experience was so special! It was my husband's 75th birthday and we arrived to balloon decorations, candles, and blowers!The "Glass House" was exquisite, beautifully designed, inside and out, giant windows on 2 sides with views. Erik paid such attention to every detail and responded immediately to every concern we had and checked in periodically by Airbnb communication. His directions on how to navigate to this location, instructions/manuals for each product, and info on suggested restaurants/attractions were in abundance.

it was wonderful we were sorry we had to cut our trip short but our host were so kind and understanding we will definitely be back again

Kayaking, fishing, sunsets, fire pit and more…everything was amazing and as advertised! Mary was very helpful. She greeted us with cookies upon arrival to show us around the property and how to use the boat launch. Had a blast making memories with my kids!

We went to celebrate two of our birthdays and it was a great getaway! Bill answered all of our questions before we arrived, and sent us detailed instructions for how to get there. Home was an easy drive from Baton Rouge and New Orleans, and was easy to find. You can see their deer and blueberry fields out of the window- and the kids loved feeding the deer. Easy to navigate hiking trails, fishing pond, picturesque views, and boats made our outdoor adventures fun and great for pictures. The fireplace made it extra cozy, and bathrooms were clean and large. Spiral staircase is a bit tricky, so just be sure the people using the two bedrooms upstairs are ok with steep, windy stairs. Other than that it was a fantastic stay and would highly recommend!

This is a beautiful spot for a couple to stay in a studio style cabin - especially if kayaking or canoeing is something you love! It is a serene setting with just one neighboring cabin. Kayiking among the cypress trees in Cross Lake was quite an experience even in winter! The host was quite friendly and the unit is cozy and clean with everything you need for a stay!

The cabin is beautifully decorated and very clean. The surroundings are peaceful and quiet. We’ve been a few times and look forward to visiting again later this year!

enjoyed our stay at Nicole's place, relaxing and nice location on cane lake. enjoyed sitting on the back porch and watching the occasional boat go by. having 3 smart tv's in the house was very nice.

It had been 30 years since I last fished Toledo Bend. The fishing was better than I remembered. Kristin’s property had easy access to the lake and was peaceful at night. I couldn’t have been more satisfied with my stay. She was super responsive and helpful with questions.

10 for 10 on this place. Very nice people and easy to communicate with when needed. Place has everything you need plus what you may have forgotten to pack. Quiet place with a very nice view. I'll be back plenty!!!

Great place! We rented for a short stay so our son and his groomsmen could ready for his wedding. We are locals, but needed somewhere close to the wedding venue which was at the brides parent’s home. This little cottage was the perfect setting for them and I cannot wait to see the professional pictures! Beautiful and cozy home.
