Beautiful home with breathtaking sunrises and sunsets. The home is incredibly clean and the decor is perfectly fitting for the theme of the home. From coffee, creamers, and teas, to an air fryer in the pantry, hot tub with towels nearly by, fire starters, and even a basket of dog toys and balls provided. New decks of cards and uno games were provided. The team truly went above and beyond. Everything is clearly labeled and easy to find. We plan to go back soon.

We had an amazing stay at this cabin! From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by how clean and well-maintained everything was. The cabin itself is cozy, stylish, and has everything you need for a relaxing getaway. The game room with the pool /air hockey/ping pong table was a big hit with everyone, providing hours of fun and laughter. We also enjoyed a movie night with room for everyone on the large sectional! Was a short drive to all Louisville activities’. The hot tub was the perfect way to unwind after a day of exploring louisville! The trails were also nice for those who wanted to get out and explore/exercise. The hosts were also incredibly thoughtful and responsive, making sure we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed. Also had extra of all toiletries incase you forgot something. Highly recommend this cabin for anyone looking for a peaceful retreat with plenty of fun activities! We will definitely be back!

The cabin was wonderful for our large family as a weekend away. There was plenty of space with the bedrooms, living spaces, and outdoor spaces. The surroundings and additional features (like the gas fire pit and golf simulator) were great. There’s some quarks about the inside living spaces but doesn’t take away from the functionality and room/comfort for a large group! I would book again, especially for proximity to different areas of the bourbon trail!

We had an absolutely amazing stay for a friends weekend! We had three couples with six total kids under 10 years old and this was the perfect spot for a weekend of fun! The pickleball court was SO much fun the adults and kids alike! The house was exactly as described and photographed and truly exceeded our expectations. Everything was spotless and all required amenities were provided. We went to the Bernheim Forest (thanks for the recommendations in the listing) and it was magical! Very walkable for the kids and lots to see for the adults. Other than that, we hung in and cooked, played games, and enjoyed the hot tub. Before we left we were all asking when we could rebook and meet up again!

This AirBnB has lots of charm and character, and Aaron went the extra mile to make sure lots of little amenities made our stay very special. The Writer’s Den is a quaint little cabin nestled on a wooded hillside that feels so remote that it’s nearly impossible to believe how close it is to the city of Louisville. If you’re looking for a place that feels private and natural, but that’s close enough to the city to easily take advantage of what’s present there, this would be a great place for you. The cabin is cozy and creatively furnished and decorated. The kitchen had an assortment of teas, plenty of coffee, some staples to get a meal started or use as a side if necessary, various sauces, and a really well-stocked spice rack. The downstairs bed is really comfy with nice linens. The setting is lovely - on our last morning there I saw 7 deer go by! All in all, this is a little gem with an owner who communicates very well. I highly recommen it!

This place was so clean, neat, and homey. We loved the quiet, peaceful location. We traveled with our three young children (ages 6, 4, and 1) and felt bad that they were so loud in the evening as we shared a wall with the owner. I'm sure they could hear all the screaming and crying that was going on. I wasn't aware that we would be so close to others as we try to keep our distance with our loud kids to keep from disrupting others. There was a friendly neighborhood cat that my youngest was crazy about! The cat ran righti n the front door and was super affectionate.

The Justin Finch Cabin was comfortable and well equipped for a fun weekend away.

This house was amazing. We really enjoyed the game room and the hot tub. Lisa was a great host, the kitchen had everything we needed to cook meals.

My wife and I stayed a couple of days at the cabin at Christmas. Dominique was a great host - very helpful with recommendations and always responsive. The cabin is super cozy and had everything we needed. This is the place to come for quiet time, for sure. We appreciated the special personal touches that Dominique had in the cabin to make the stay even more memorable. We certainly recommend.

Such a beautiful place!! The property was so peaceful and well maintained. The inside was clean and had everything we needed. Plenty of space for all 8 of us and we did not feel like we were on top of each other. Thank you for the amazing stay!

What a beautiful property, both grounds and house! Everything is immaculately decorated. The host included everything we could ever need, right down to Ziplock bags and extra umbrellas. The host also proactively checked in and was very kind. Would definitely recommend!

Wonderful experience at Boone’s Cabin! Secluded setting in a great location for the Bourbon Festival. Cabin had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. Sheila was very proactive and even got us in early! Would definitely visit again.

Tammy was so kind and welcoming as soon as we pulled up :) She and her husband gave us a quick tour and left us with several local suggestions. We were gifted with cheese and crackers along with wine along with a hand-delivered, HOMEMADE breakfast the next morning (at the time of our choosing). It was delicious! We were tucked away but with every convenience needed. Overall, it served as the perfect quick, quiet getaway.

Location was great. Our family made some beautiful memories together. Will recommend to family and friends. Hope to come back soon.
