Our stay at Wetley Cottage was fantastic! The place has obviously been designed with care and thought in every detail! One of the most well stocked places I’ve ever stayed with everything you could possibly need! The whole cottage was very homely, cosy and comfortable. The outdoor areas had so many different options to sit and relax! Shetland ponies were an adorable bonus! Louise was so lovely and helpful! Even coming to tell us that the Northern Lights were visible! Plus many other super local recommendations! The place was private at the end of a lane. The surrounding nature was superb, we heard owls and saw many other interesting birds. I would recommend Wetley Cottage to all! Perfect in Winter and I imagine just as wonderful all year round!

So glad we picked Bakewell for our visit to the Peak District, and even more so that we picked Pamela's property. Ideal location for exploring the town and surrounding area, 5 minute walk to restaurants at night. Spotless accommodation, quirky layout, which we liked! Thanks for the welcome pack, just what we needed when we arrived. We'll be back some day, thanks Pamela.

Fox cottage is the most beautiful home in a picturesque setting overlooking stunning views from every window! We only stayed for a weekend but didn't want to leave, it felt so homely and had everything we needed. The hosts Andy and Gina have clearly put in so much thought to the set up and every little thing you could possibly need is provided and more! It was so nice to have everything there already for my 2yo daughter (cot with mattress + linen, high chair, box of lovely toys, even toddler cutlery/crockery). Gina even left us out some chicken feed so my daughter could feed them in the morning and it was the highlight of her weekend! The hosts also saved us from a toddler meltdown when we realised in the morning we'd forgotten her breakfast cereal - a weetabix and porridge delivery within minutes saved the day! They truly do go above and beyond to make your stay as smooth as possible, would highly recommend and definitely return in future for another stay.

Our first stay on air b&b and it has set the bar high! very happy with our stay, felt like we found a little hidden gem and will be looking for similar places in the future (fingers crossed). very cosy, modern, clean and private. felt very satisfied with what we paid and cannot complain! Thank you

We had a lovely stay at Ruth's cottage, we felt really welcome and at home. Ruth had lots of information about local walks, pubs, restaurants etc and was really responsive to messages. We stayed over Christmas and Ruth had decorated the cottage with Christmas decorations which was a really lovely added touch. We had a fantastic break and would definitely stay again.

An absolutely delightful cottage to stay in - we’ve never visited the Peak District before and this cottage was perfect for our family (2 adults 2 kids) and two little dogs. Perfectly located for walks out the front door to explore along with close proximity to some lovely settings / walks and exploration. Less than 5 mins walk to the pub after a long day exploring and nothing better than getting back to the cottage and lighting the fire and getting cosy! A brilliant little cottage - highly recommend!

Absolutely gorgeous week away with another family, the cottage was perfectly suited to us … a big living room for the kids to play and lounge in the evening with the fire on, dining area and great bedroom config which meant both families had room. We also with our little one and had our own bathroom and our friends had 2 kids in the double room and they had their own bathroom too. The welcome brochure was helpful! Lovely pub a 6 min walk away and Carsington water visitor centre was perfect for some exploring. A brilliant stay thank you and we will hopefully be back.

A great short stay at this lovely cottage. Fantastic views and a cosy feel. Location was very convenient in the village very near to the fabulous pub and lovely walks. The cottage was very well equipped with everything needed.
