What a stunning little cottage. Great space for me, hubby and our dog. The cottage has everything you could possibly need and more. It was very comfortable and cosy and the attention to detail is amazing. The welcome basket was an added bonus and very much appreciated. It was just a 5 minute walk into the centre of Bedale and it has everything you need.

A really enjoyable couple of days away in a beautiful glamping pod. It was clean, comfortable and beautifully decorated. The welcome basket was a lovely touch

Nicolas place was fantastic ! absolutely beautiful place both inside and out was everything I could have asked for and more and Nicola herself was super helpful and friendly made me feel even more relaxed than I already was and got to admire the hard work she'd put into her place and it shows would definitely go again 😊

We arrived for a Town Hall concert we had a fabulous weekend location is great everything is near by for all your needs Sue's place was just what we needed clean tidy wanted for nothing would definitely recommend it and we will definitely be staying here again Martyn and Elaine from Nottingham.

Thank you for our stay, we had a lovely time. Samantha's place is great for exploring the local countryside, towns and pubs. The place was characterful, cosy and well equipped with views up and down the adjacent stream.

Lovely, clean, spacious lodge in a lovely setting with a perfectly placed hot tub. The lodge meet all our requirements. Plenty of storage space, extra bedding provided and all the essentials. Highly recommended.

Beautiful seaside apartment. Great base to explore the area. Host was very communicative about check in. The welcome book on arrival was a great help for the local area. The apartment was spotless and had a great set up. Especially liked the small selection of games for entertainment. Will definitely stay here again if available when visiting the area.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and we felt at home from the day we arrived. The cottage was perfect for our extended stay (a month) and we will fondly remember our time in the cottage, Frosterley and the Weardale and North Pennines area. Our hosts were very friendly, laid back and made us feel wonderfully relaxed during our stay. The cottage was warm, comfortable and well appointed and ideal for our needs. We would definitely recommend River View Cottage and the other accommodation in the courtyard to family and friends and we would definitely consider returning in the future for another break.
