Lower Garden District, La Nouvelle-Orléans : locations de vacances adaptées aux enfants

This was our third trip to New Orleans with our kids and Edward's place is by far our favorite house! The location is great - a coffee shop a few houses down, park across the street, a few blocks to Magazine, not too far to St. Charles streetcar, and close enough to Audubon Park for my morning runs. There is so much to do nearby, it's also easy to get around the city via bus or streetcar, and there is plenty of street parking if you have a car. The house is amazing! It's clean, beautiful, and has plenty of space for everyone to spread out when they've had enough family time. There are plenty of towels, beach towels, kitchen/bathroom supplies, etc. We enjoyed the pool and lush backyard space every day (it was quite warm already in March). Edward and David are amazing hosts! Super responsive to any questions, great food suggestions, and made us feel right at home. Book this place! It feels more like staying at a friend's than a typical rental. We hope to come back soon!

We stayed here because our daughter was touring Tulane. it was so convenient to walk to the university and also down to Maple street for coffee and food. Also convenient to Audubon park. we hope to come back on parent visiting days.

We had a great stay! The instructions were very clear and I appreciated all the safety measures. It was close enough to the French Quarter for a quick ride to and from. There was great communication and we enjoyed the space!

We enjoyed staying in this uptown cozy house! It is a great location which was walkable to some fun restaurants on Freret street. Cynthia was an excellent host. She responded promptly when we called with a question and even called back the next day to check on us. The house was comfortable, clean and soaps, shampoos and coffee were available. I would highly recommend this for a fun stay in New Orleans!

Stayed with a group of friends for my birthday weekend. The home was beautiful and extremely well appointed. Every room had its own bathroom which is ideal when several couples are staying in one place. Alleshia provided a terrific list of local attractions and “handy hints” and the location was perfect - a short distance to all the action but also in a quiet neighborhood with nice restaurants and coffee shops within easy walking distance. I would highly recommend and definitely stay here again when in New Orleans.

Great location. Walkable to restaurants, shops, and street car! Very comfortable and cozy. Even had bottled water for us. Kay was great to work with especially when we left a purse in the Airbnb and had to come back for it. Very flexible! Thanks Kay for a great stay

Alex’s home was a perfect place for our New Orleans weekend. The tree lined street is beautiful as well as all the gorgeous architectural homes. The home was clean, comfy bed & every thing we needed to make a quick breakfast every morning. Alex stopped to greet us when we were having coffee at the cute outdoor table & chairs. It was walkable to restaurants & groceries. We walked to Katie’s for dinner based on recommendations left by Alex. It was a short Lyft ride to Frenchman St for music as well as the French Quarter. We would definitely stay here again.

Casey was very accommodating allowing us to drop off our luggage early and also she ended up letting us check in 2 hours early when our tour was cancelled due to heavy rain. The bed is comfy. Great neighborhood 2 blocks from Magazine Street. Apartment is up 20 curving steps. Safe neighborhood. Rooms./doors could use a little bit paint and a few repairs, but fine to spend a night or two.

I had an amazing stay at Owen’s place in the Lower Garden District. The apartment was absolutely beautiful—such a perfect mix of historic charm and modern touches. It had a cozy, peaceful vibe with lovely greenery that made it feel like a true retreat. Everything was spotless, and the space was incredibly comfortable and welcoming—truly felt like a home away from home. The location was also perfect, with so many great restaurants, shops, and things to do just a short walk away. The neighborhood felt very safe, and it was the ideal base for exploring New Orleans. Owen was a great host, and I’d definitely stay here again. Highly recommend to anyone visiting the area!

We had a wonderful 4 day stay, the house was cozy and well stocked with all the essential necessities. The place was clean and the neighborhood was nice and quiet with plenty of grocery stores nearby. The home location was easy to find and all of our destinations were within 15 to 20 minutes. This is a great place to stay. It is one (1) block off of magazine and easy to walk to. The neighborhood can be a little noisy with street traffic during the day but that didn't take away from this awesome rental with a great interior and a great new orleans interior/vibe. The Neighborhood is very quiet at night. The information booklet provided is loaded with information and places to go and try was wonderful. Even after making over dozen trips it had some good tidbits of information. I would come back and stay here!

Algiers pointe was perfect location to access French quarter, etc, while a peaceful retreat from the city by ferry. Ferry location very walkable from BNB. Most importantly, Dionne was the perfect, responsive host. Her place reflects great taste and charm. Love the New Orleans flair! Beds were comfy. Slept well. TVs in each BR plus living room was plus. Neighbors were super friendly and personable. Felt like home and Dionne made us feel like visiting relatives! NOLA is a magical, unique and special city. So is this spot. Bathroom upstairs, so might not be everyone's choice. Also, due to dependency on ferry, might be challenge for those travelling car less and wanting to take in the nola nightlife. Otherwise, book this charmer and enjoy! Say hello to the next door neighbors while you're at it!

Its a wonderful, old, quirky space that has been updated and is totally functional and roomy. The location is perfect for access to the various neighborhoods in NOLA. Very close to good restaurants, short walk to the Quarter etc. The C unit is up three flights of stairs (which I missed in the pictures and description) which wasn't really a problem except we had one person in a "boot". Otherwise it was clean and safe, functional and historic. So all in all very nice.

This was our second stay at Brad’s place. Very comfortable and clean. Short walk to all of the good restaurants and the French Quarter. Lots of convenient pay to park parking lots that are secure with cameras.

This place is absolutely beautiful, clean and safe. We loved how attentive Forest was with us for our entire stay! We always felt safe. Any time we needed something we got it right away. Service was impeccable and all the staff we encountered were extremely friendly. We highly recommend anyone visiting NOLA to stay here!

The place was amazing and an amazing location. Super clean. We walked everywhere downtown. I will say the front room can be noisy but earplugs were provided. And it’s New Orleans. Anything you could want is in walking distance. Beds were comfy. Only thing I would suggest is maybe another chair or two in living room. But again it’s New Orleans… who stays in their rooms. Would definitely stay again!!!

My wife and I had an absolutely amazing stay in New Orleans! Gigi's place was spotless, stylish, and had all the amenities we needed for a comfortable visit. The location was perfect, close to downtown NOLA and the French Quarter, but far away enough where it was quiet and peaceful at night. Gigi was incredibly responsive and gave some great local recommendations that really made the trip special. I especially loved the outdoor deck overlooking St. Charles Ave, as well as the architecture and charm of Gigi's condo. Overall, we'd would definitely stay here again.

Brad's large apartment space was the perfect location to explore the beautiful city of New Orleans! Although the location is only a few blocks from Bourbon Street, the unit was very quiet and secure. Brad provided quality recommendations, and do not miss going to the fabulous World War 2 Museum, about a 15 minute walk from the apartment.

Nice place with a great location. A few minor things that could improve but we’d stay again and probably will. The kitchen could benefit from a teapot of some sort. Cooking utensils were sparse. The bedrooms could use some side lamps. Overall, very nice place.

Great location! I think the reviews underestimate how walk-able the location is to restaurants, Bourbon Street, French Quarters. There are plenty of cute, little coffee shops and markets nearby, too.
