Fiona's place was perfect for the one night we were there. Everything was new and the stocked kitchen was really really handy! As said in other reviews, the noise from the road is really loud, so if you are a light sleeper. . . . definitely bring earplugs and maybe also have some white noise sounds or an app to play like we did. She did have a fan in the room which helped to drown out the traffic sounds, but you are right next to a motorway so it can be quite loud. Other than that it was a really nice little self contained unit.

Steve was an exceptional host and their villa was stylish, spotless and in a super location. Super comfy bed and clean bathroom with all necessary comforts. Lots of free parking on street but also walking distance from public transport. Super restaurants close buy and laundromat mere 90m away. Petone esplanade is less than 600m walk. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely book again.

The Bunker: A truly remarkable AirBnB! Excellent location with the Petone township just around the corner. The room had everything I needed and more. I met Roxanne briefly and immediately felt comfortable. This is definitely my preferred place for the Lower Hutt and Petone region.

Lovely house in the heart of Petone. I have stayed in Petone a few times before and this was my first Airbnb and will stay again if I visit. It’s right in between the foreshore and the Jackson Street restaurants. Easy walk to Petone station which is only a 15 minute ride to Wellington plus the train also goes to Upper/ Lower Hutt which was easy to see my friends who live there or have them down for dinner in Jackson Street.

True Luxury within a Boutique yet homely setting here at The Gatehouse. It was evident that this was going to become my best AirBNB experience from the moment Philip made contact. The entire process was swift and smooth with no delay in communication. The house itself is remarkable, with high end sound equipment, luxury bathroom toiletries and rich flora at your doorstep, just to name a few. The location itself is a simple 20 minute drive from the CBD or a short ferry trip if you prefer. Its peaceful surroundings and friendly locals help aid this in being the best Airbnb you can find, not only in Wellington but perhaps the entirety of the Southern Hemisphere. Look no further if you want to set the bar so high as to make a 5 star hotel feel like a hostel…

This home was beautiful and clean. Madeline was super helpful and response. Could not have asked for a better host of home. Thankyou for sharing your lovely place with us. We had the best time.

We had a wonderful stay in the cosy studio. The beautiful setting made us feel completely relaxed. A lovely studio, built with care and detail. The instructions were clear and the place was easy to find. We will definitely be back!
