A lovely room in a beautiful property with nice grounds and set back from the road. An excellent, safe area with regular bus service to central Wellington just at the end of the road. The hosts were friendly, very pleasant and helpful - couldn't fault. Will stay again without hesitation.

We had a lovely stay at Trudi’s place over Christmas. We had everything we needed. Great to have the beach across the road with lots of amenities close by. Would love to stay again

Nice place and hosts. You can have as much or as liitle interaction that you want with the family. Plenty of interesting stories. I will see you next time I am in Wellington.

What a wonderful place to stay while in Wellington! I can’t recommend this place highly enough. Kate is very communicative, thoughtful and helpful and her tips and suggestions really improved my visit. You *must* be able to walk up and down lots of steps in order to stay here (as well as walk around the surrounding area), but it’s so worth it. You get an authentic Wellington experience living here and can explore the hidden pathways (most with steps!) as you walk to Zealandia, the Botanic Gardens (and glow worms!), and the cable car. And it’s only a 5- minute walk to the local village shops and excellent restaurants. I was able to comfortably stay here for 4 days without a car. I wish I could have stayed longer. A lovely place to stay. Very comfortable, clean, and the view is just magic. The continental breakfast was very generous and the home made biscuits amazing. The hosts were very accommodating and allowing us early entry to put food into the fridge was greatly appreciated. Thank you.

The studio is a perfectly formed place for peace, relaxation in a lo-fi setting, with great views to the hills. I enjoyed the solitude, and made immense headway across some key pieces of work. This is a great getaway for locals and travellers. Will definitely return.

Comfy studio in peaceful neighborhood, very close to Days bay - would happily stay there again.

Klare is what makes this a special place: kind, friendly, and helpful. The bed is comfy, the tuis chat away, and it's a bit like a good old kiwi holiday bach. Casual, welcoming, and easygoing in a spare self contained room of her home. Thank you Klare for added excitement 😊

Fantastic location in the Miramar neighborhood, just a short walk from the grocery store, restaurants and a public transport hub. The rental was as clean, as described and equipped with thoughtful touches to enhance our stay.

We stayed at Jo's place for 6 nights. The suite was perfect for our needs, everything we needed including fresh salad crops from the garden.Lots of local amenities and things to do including a very very good bakery and only a short bus ride to the city where there is so much to do and see. Definitely recommend Jo's place and we will return on our next NZ trip.

Our stay at Anindita's property was fabulous. Anindita and her partner Neil were wonderful hosts. The property was clean, fully equipped and we had the most restful sleeps. The location was wonderful with public transport into the CBD of Wellington literally outside the front door. There were takeaways, supermarkets and other stores within walking distance. We had our gorgeous (well behaved dog with us) and he had a wonderful time. There was a fabulous doggy park literally a four minute walk from the property - perfect.

Radhini made this whole experience very easy and made us feel at ease. She was very responsive and helpful as well always checking in to see if we were comfortable and for that I highly recommend having her as a host

Had a lovely stay . Accommodation and amenities were faultless, as was Richards hospitality. The amazing view was an added bonus.

Only stayed for one night at Esther’s and Morgan’s lovely little place, nice warm cozy quiet room in a safe neighbourhood, and only a 20 meter walk up the driveway, handy to shops and restaurants gas stations etc.. Esther was easy to deal with, quick to respond with messages and gave clear easy to follow instructions. Although I didn’t meet her, I met her husband Morgan, who is a really nice guy. Definitely recommend checking this place out.

This is a great find in the perfect location for mountain biking or to be away from the city. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend.

This was our second stay - so I think that probably speaks for itself. V handy to train, compact but with sufficient space for two people to be comfortable. Well designed and aesthetically pleasant. Kacper is a responsive and friendly host.

Stay was very nice, 5 star, the Khandallah village is very walkable and the best Parson Cafe recommendation.

It was nice to have Janet & Ian meet us on arrival. The unit is a cosy self contained and private section in the downstairs area of their home. Very comfortable bed. Having off-street parking is a bonus.

Had a great stay with Ellie, it was just as described. Had all the amenities we needed for our stay. The bed was super comfortable as well! Would recommend.

This place was everything I could have asked for! It was incredibly private, making it the perfect spot to relax and unwind without any interruptions. The space was cozy, well-maintained, and had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The location was fantastic—easy to access and close to everything, yet still tucked away enough to provide the peace and quiet I was looking for. Getting in and out was a breeze, and I never had to worry about anything during my stay. The whole experience was seamless, and I couldn't have asked for a better place to stay. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful retreat with easy access to everything. Will definitely be back!
