Stayed at jacks place while working out of town for a few weeks Was a home away from home. Very quiet area and close to many places. If I'm ever working in MI again would definitely stay at jacks again!

I needed a place to stay close to downtown. The neighborhood reminded me of where I grew up. Old homes and quaint neighborhood. Jack was very accommodating and helpful.

I didnt get a chance to stay here but I had a positive experience with the host. I had to cancel to do a change in job and had canceled after my checkin was supposed to be. Jack made sure I got my full refund and he was very responsive and very helpful.

The house is easy to find, in a quiet neighborhood. We felt safe. House is nicely decorated and clean. We would rent again.

Beautiful home, nicely remodeled, clean, comfortable, great appliances. A block from Lake Erie makes for an easy walk down the beach to the light house and restaurants. We enjoyed watching the sun set outside town and the mornings sunrise across the Great Lake. Local restaurants were unique and the food was very good. Everyone we encountered in town was friendly and welcoming.

This was a wonderful get away spot for my husband and I and our four legged furry companion. It's always delightful when homes of this quality welcome dogs. Other reviews mention the front room, with bright white wicker furniture, full AC/HEAT and expansive windows as the highlight of this house. The feel, view, sound and light of this room mimics being "ON THE LAKE" without actually being in a boat. We brought yoga mats, books, and enjoyed watching the weather change from sunny summer to blustery windy fall in the matter of two days. We went on two very enjoyable 5 mile hikes at Magee Marsh and Metzger Marsh catching glimpses of many bald eagles and marsh birds. The neighbors were friendly and this time of the year it was quiet, peaceful & grounding. We walked the length of the beach often and were grounded by a short visit to 'life on that lake". Fresh orchard peaches @ Moore's Orchard ! Icecream @ Barnside Creamery! Port Clinton Jolly Rodgers!.. not much decent dining super close.

This home was spectacular. Right by the water which in beautiful when you wake up. Had more than enough room for my party of 7. Would definitely come back and recommend anyone that loves a good view and chill vibes to stay at this home. Bonus it has an organ if you like playing music.

Home was easy to access, we felt right at home. Anything you need is provided, toothbrushes, shampoo, conditioner, lotion. I forgot floss and it also was provided. Home gave off a very cozy feeling, no clutter and the home was spotless too. Only issue was some pet hair but host provided extra sheets in the home so we swapped those immediately after arriving. I’m a coffee drinker and I had a few cups. Access to a small beach but do not swim in the water! Do your research first. Chairs, umbrella and cooler were also provided. I thought that was very thoughtful. I’d definitely come back to this home again if I visit MI. The host was very kind and communication was always prompt. The neighborhood is also very quiet and safe. There’s nothing I’d change about our stay. Thank you for a wonderful experience!

We were very pleased from the moment we entered the home! Our host was very thoughtful and responded immediately anytime we needed her. The view and privacy was well worth the money! Our family of 6 have so many more memories to cherish from this vacation! Everything was so clean and nothing was an eye sore. It was warm, welcoming, comfortable, and felt like a home away from home! I can't say enough about our stay. We're all still basking and missing our vacation! Snacks, board games, movies, and other activities were provided. She went above and beyond to make us and our children feel welcomed. We woke up around 6am just to catch the sunrise over the water, which was a breathtaking sight. The sunset behind the rocks made for a wonderful scenic background. Having the windows open to hear the waves crash and the sunlight that filled the living room was peaceful. The kids loved finding new rocks/shells. And the decor in the home was very lovely! From age 4-13, all 4 kids loved it!

The views, warm breeze from the lake and quiet nature of the area were the best part of our stay. Parker was a great host and we enjoyed staying at his property!

We stayed the night at James’ house for a fishing charter on Lake Erie. We had a peaceful fire outside and slept nicely - the beds were all comfortable and we appreciated the extra pillows in the closet! We were all surprised at HOW CLEAN the space was and loved the keurig coffee for our early rise. I would definitely recommend staying here for anyone visiting fishing charters or want a night away from city lights.
