We absolutely loved our stay at The Dawson House! It is such a beautiful & comfortable home in a peaceful country setting just a few miles from Nacogdoches. Donna was so welcoming & offered great suggestions for restaurants. We will definitely be staying at The Dawson House the next time we are in the area.

We had a long stay at this Airbnb and the host made sure we were always comfortable. We had a great stay, it was very homey and cozy. Would definitely recommend.

This was our 35th straight year of The Tangler's tour. We have stayed in many different locations. We are an especially difficult and hard to please group. We are also very needy. Each of our requests were met with aplomb and the utmost in friendliness. Angela was accommodating with never the slightest hint of being bothered. I would recommend these accommodations to anyone in need of a comfortable and cozy weekend. 5 stars really aren't enough.

Our family had a fantastic time with fabulous accommodations! The area is perfect for launching a boat or swimming and the neighborhood is safe and quiet. Our dogs were welcomed and the home was very clean and comfortable. We will be repeat visitors.

This place was adorable. The little signs everywhere made me laugh. The rooms were super cute and the view was beautiful and peaceful. The screening patio is perfect for morning coffee (though a bit cold this time around) and the large porch area would be great for good weather days. It was the perfect space for our needs and our fur babies enjoyed the big fenced in yard. If they were a bit smaller there are even dog doors they could have used! Will definitely be back when we come to visit family in the area. Thanks for creating and sharing this sweet space.

I really enjoyed staying at this location and will stay here again if available. Clean and well played out for a family event. Plenty of room which is what we needed.

You'd be hard pressed to find a friendlier host than Jim, who clearly wants the best for his guests. That's very apparent by the care taken to keep the property so beautiful. While enjoying morning coffee, we watched a Bald Eagle soar in from the lake like a fighter jet and perch itself on a pine tree for about a half hour. It was extremely vocal and had the other birds in the area on high alert. Not something we see every day in our neck of the woods. We are already planning to return with the family. The home was very spacious, clean and well kept. There was not anything that we needed during our stay that wasn't provided or available. Wish we could have stayed longer. Thanks again, Jim! Had a great time staying here, both Dawn and Carlos are great host some of the best ever! I’d recommend anyone to stay here at their Airbnb. My grandpa, cousin and myself had a great time and Carlos made sure we had everything we needed. Great people thanks for letting us stay!

Excellent property for larger families or someone looking to be surrounded by nature! Unique house with extra amenities like basketball, badminton, pickleball, swimming, and more. Great place to unwind and rejuvenate. Fantastic proximity to Lake Naconiche and Nacogdoches. The location relative to the city of Nacogdoches and Stephen F Austin is a huge plus. Definitely will seek this property out in the future when staying in the area.

the house is expansive for large parties to accommodate everyone. the decor is cute & eclectic! huge fenced in yard for fur babies and in a safe neighborhood. the bed & bedding was comfortable. this house has everything you would need. I will definitely be back!

We loved this Barndo! It was absolutely perfect and just what my family needed for a weekend getaway! Despite the cold weather, the weekend was perfect! We can’t wait to come back and enjoy the beautiful pool oasis! Delilah was an amazing host! She texted us the week before check-in just to make sure we knew the exact directions along with helpful tips for checking in. Again, my family and I cannot wait to come back to the amazing barndo! ☀️

This was home base for us while we were in town for the Polar Express at the Texas State Railroad. We loved the home and location, and the hosts were among the most thoughtful and attentive that we have experienced. Communication was quick and helpful, check in was easy, and they thought of lots of little extras for us to enjoy. There were cute Christmas decorations, including a tree, as well as some gifts for our toddler which he thoroughly enjoyed. The setting was family friendly, with the peaceful pastures, horses, and cute chickens and pigs. The hosts were kind enough to offer our little boy a chance to interact with the chickens and pigs, and he loved the sweet farm dogs and cat too. The home is cozy and well cared for, and we were very comfortable. It was a huge added bonus to have the "cookhouse" across the yard which we were able to use to cook some meals. Plenty of yard space for our toddler and dogs too. Close to a lot of attractions nearby - would definitely return!

We loved our stay at Camplee and would highly recommend it to anyone! Elee was a wonderful host and quickly responded to all inquiries before and during the trip. We had so much fun watching DVDs, playing board games, barbecuing, and just relaxing in the sunroom and on the porch. We brought our dog with us, and she loved going on long walks on the property (leashed, of course), sniffing, and exploring. We brought our telescope and did some star/planet gazing. It’s incredible how quiet it is at Camplee! We live about a mile from downtown Houston, so we rarely get peace and quiet and don’t see nearly as many stars! The house was immaculate and fully stocked with everything you might need. The shower was nice and had excellent water pressure. Getting there, Elee gave two options: quicker or smoother. We chose quicker! We were a little nervous about the faster route; however, we did just fine in our sedan (no truck required). Thanks again to Elee for being such a wonderful host!

Absolutely beautiful location, nice and quiet. Really cozy space and it was nice to have somewhere to cook. It was a bit difficult to find on maps but the host does a wonderful job telling you how to get there. Absolutely amazing stay especially for the price. Thank you again for the lovely weekend~

This house was perfect! We rented it for our family for Christmas and it was such a wonderful experience. We have 11 in our family (though two didn’t stay the night) and everyone was comfortable. The only room we didn’t use much was the formal sitting room, only because we didn’t want the kiddos on the nice furniture. The couch in the den was super comfortable to hang out on. The kitchen was well stocked. We brought some of our own things for Christmas dinner but it was mostly unnecessary. The kitchen is well stocked with Pyrex dishes, a food processor, and other things needed to cook for a large group. The double oven’s were perfect, though took some getting used to. Jim and Ashley were very communicative and so helpful. They decorated for Christmas and made us feel at home. The house is a 15 minute walk to downtown in one direction and 15 minute walk to SFA in the other direction. We felt quite safe walking to the brewery at night. The neighborhood is safe and well-lit.

Needed a place to stay for a month during PA school rotations, and Eugene’s cabin did not disappoint. Very peaceful and covers all the basic needs. I enjoyed my stay!

The pink house is a comfortable home with close proximity to everything. The description says park on left of house, which is easy to find, however the left of house driveway leads to a parking lot for the apartments behind the house. Originally we were afraid to be blocking access, but then realized there is also a driveway to right of house which is apparently the access the apartments use. Anyway, no big deal, just something to note. As others have stated, the shower is HUGE! Ha, at first I was a bit unsure about the size and lack of a door/curtain, but as others have stated, it’s actually amazing! The layout of the home worked out so well for our family. Plenty of space for everything! I loved that I could unpack and use the dresser and closet (with hangers!!) to really settle in. We cooked in the kitchen and I was very pleased with most everything that was stocked. I would have loved to find a larger skillet, but we made do with the options there and truly enjoyed our stay☺️

Michelle was a wonderful host and communicated with us everything we needed to know. The camper was beautiful , clean, and cozy. It’s perfect for a little country getaway. Make sure you take a vehicle that’s higher off the ground because the dirt road to the place is quite bumpy. Michelle let us know that ahead of time so we made sure to take our truck and it was totally fine. Michelle gave us excellent directions and we found the place no problem. I ended up getting sick on the second day so we left early and Michelle refunded me for the second day (even though I didn’t ask for it and she didn’t have to do so). Quality place and a quality host!!!

Abel is a great host. Totally loved the place however it rained a lot and we weren’t able to use the outer facilities. But the place was fantastic and would totally love to visit back on a a clear day!
