Would definitely recommend. Host very friendly and responsive. Booked on short notice and worked hard to make it would be ready. Nice cozy place.

So surprised to walk in and feel “Welcome”. The yellow door should have given me a clue. Like the sign says, the colors and furnishings gave us a warm welcoming feeling of being at home. We are fussy about our bed and it was comfortable and we slept well. Internet worked well too. Kitchen had more than the basic supplies, so check before you go shopping. The laundry also. I must mention to be truthful, for anyone our age, mid-80’s, we lived through the 70’s of different level home styles and are not comfortable with that anymore. So there is a step-down from living room to bedroom that I want to mention. But Lauren and David have a lovely house right next door that we have stayed at and it’s all on one level and hopefully available for us the next time we return. You young people will have no problems with the step down at all of course.

Place was great! Everything worked well and was in line with the listing. Lauren and Daniel live next door and were very helpful, offering consistent communication and recommendations on the town. Overall great spot for anyone looking to stay longer term especially out in deep East TX

We would definitely recommend this wonderful heartwarming home. Loved the location, so peaceful and relaxing plus our dog enjoyed the ample room to she had to roam. Had an awesome view of beautiful starry night. Thank you Donna and Cheryl for allowing a reasonable 1 night stay as those are hard to find so that was very much appreciated. Oh and the banana bread was wonderful and delicious. If we are through this area again we would definitely want to stay again. Thanks so much for sharing your home.

Stayed here for work and it was an amazing place! Quiet, plenty of parking space and the house was well taking care of. Would definitely stay here again

The property is BEAUTIFUL! The house easily accommodated all 7 of us and there was still a spare room - plenty of space! Very open concept which we loved so we always had an eye on the littles! This place was a hidden gem!

stayed close to two weeks. My wife and I immediately felt at home. The house has a warm cozy feeling. We enenjoyed watching TV in the living room. Bed was comfortable and provided a good night's rest. Kitchen is stocked with all your needs. We needed a blender and host quickly order one for us. I would definitely be coming back. Neighborhood feels safe and house is located within close proximity of everything you might need.

Love the whole area. Quiet and very restful. Appreciated extra effort Lee went to provide charcoal BBQ pit for us to use. Loved watchjn g the local bird, animals, and horses. Always love eating at Clear Springs Restaurant

Gay's place is peaceful, relaxing and quiet. Upon walking into the home we felt right at home. The home stayed very comfortable with both cold & warm weather during our stay. There is a fully stocked kitchen which made it perfect for all our cooked meals, very comfy beds with extra pillows & blankets. The back porch was amazing for relaxing every day surrounded by pine trees. Rural yet so close to town. We highly recommend her place and when we are back in the area, we'll choose her place to stay again.

This is our second time renting this house and we hope to be able to rent it again next year at this time. It is just a group of us ladies that get together for a ladies conference and we rent the house so we can all be together this house is absolutely perfect for us. Not only do we feel safe, but the host make it so easy for us to be able to communicate with you and if we need anything, they are right there to answer any questions quickly for us. The house is absolutely beautiful, always clean and has everything we need to make our weekend getaway the best getaway. Looking forward to our next visit at the Lakehouse. ❤️
