Relaxing and refreshing!

It was the perfect place for our family vacation. Amazing house, nestled in the woods with a nice mountain view. We loved hanging out in the hot tub, exploring outside, and sharing meals in the well appointed kitchen. The cabin is in a nice location, easy enough to explore all the surrounding areas and visit Dahlonega, Blue Ridge, Helen, and Ellijay. The arcade was a hit with the kids, and the fenced in yard was a hit with the dog.

We had an amazing stay at this cozy cabin right on the river’s edge. Waking up to the sound of the water and having such easy access to the river made this place truly special. The short hike to the nearby waterfalls was absolutely magical—definitely a must-see! Our host, Sarah, was fantastic. Her communication was excellent, and she made sure all our needs were met throughout our stay. The cabin itself was clean, comfortable, and the perfect place to relax and enjoy nature. If you’re looking for a peaceful escape with beautiful surroundings and a great host, this is the place to be!

We absolutely LOVED staying at James and Tracy’s cabin this weekend. The cabin was very well equipped with everything you could need. Everything was very clean and I personally loved all of the signs inside explaining how things worked etc etc The hot tub was amazing as well to end the day off with. We did play horse shoes down from the cabin and walk the nature trail a little. Loved sitting on the back patio and watching the birds and squirrels. We will definitely be coming back in the near future for sure.

We had a wonderful time here! The cabin is beautiful and has everything you need. The location is great and we enjoyed walking around the property. There’s a fire pit to enjoy and we walked along the stream. Overall, it was a great experience!

Arthur and Ann were amazing hosts. Responded fast and had every single thing we needed and more. The house was beautiful the river was gorgeous and the area was quiet. Not much to do in the city but the house had plenty to do. Games movies dvd player clean and well taken care of.

Pictures really don’t capture how beautiful that place is. I loved how private it was yet not too far out from parks and the town of Helen. It was exactly what my family needed. They even had a cute little s’mores basket set up in the kitchen for you. I’ll definitely want to book again in the future!

We had the best time staying here. The cabin was really cute inside, the beds were super comfy, and the place was very clean. They provided firewood and when we needed more, they quickly delivered us some. The cabin is close to many great hiking places, and they also have a great trail onsite that we saw deer on. I would absolutely stay there again.

The cabin is everything I dreamt of! A cozy retreat nestled in a beautiful cove, just a few footsteps from the AT. It was a dream. Not to mention lounging on the porch, in the spacious bed swing with a fire in the stone hearth, that was soul satisfying. Equally incredible is the host, Leah. She is so welcoming and thoughtful. I took advantage of her local recommendations and my weekend became an experience I’ll never forget. Easily one of my favorite memories ever. I’ve already booked a return visit and I’m counting the days!

Cabin was what you think about when you want to just get away into the mountains. It is very nice and in great condition. You can disconnect or stay connected with WiFi and direct TV. The hot top was fun and grill was in great condition. It is a 45 min drive to Helen or Blue Ridge mountain. Mountain drive does take time to get use to. Definitely stay again.

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at the cabin! The cabin is exactly as described and just so cozy! We loved all of the small, intimate touches! Jennifer is a great hostess and responded immediately to our small concerns! Highly recommend!

We stayed here five years ago on our honeymoon, so we decided this year for our anniversary, we were going to stay here again. It was lovely, just like last time - the fireplace is so nice, the kitchen is quite well stocked for an AirBNB (we've seen some bad ones, and we've always been able to cook easily in this kitchen!), and there are plenty of extra blankets should you need them. Our son liked the game room downstairs, and there's plenty of room to let our dog play. There are DVDs and an HDMI cable. Had it been warmer, we'd have loved using the fire pit, too. Plenty of room, and the binder full of things to do is a nice touch (and so is the hiding game!). Do note: the grocery store is a solid twenty minutes away, so it's not a quick run down the street. Highly recommend planning on one big grocery run should you need to. There are usually miscellaneous basic spices and such in the cupboard. There is also not a first aid kit as far as we could tell. Highly recommend!

The cabin is beautiful. It was perfect for my family of four and a dog. We stayed for the week and had everything we needed to cook. The space is just right for a family of 4-5.

We stayed for a girl weekend in the Gold Mine Cabin and it was perfect. The cabin was well stocked with nessesities and was just exactly as expected from the description and photos. The location was close to a wonderful winery and downtown but also seperate enough to enjoy some peace. Crystal was full of recommendations and very responsive! We had a great stay!

House and Tracy were great. Very welcoming and accommodating for us and our senior dog. Had a great experience. One point of note for anyone staying with a dog. Hardwood floors throughout with some area rugs. Our Great Dane struggled a bit on the floors so we didn't use the upstairs. We brought two runners to help him get around. Did not affect our overall experience.

Great house and location. Fully equipped even down to the scotch tape to wrap the wedding presents ( which we had left at home) Great host.

I stay in a lot of airbnbs and this was a favorite for me! Monica was an exceptional host with lots of little items that made a big difference Toothbrush was a big win because my son forgot his! Fishing rods since we didn’t have ours. Honestly there was so much thoughtfulness I can’t list them all! House is small but perfect for 3-4 people. Fire pit was great and the river is private and BEAUTIFUL. I enjoyed the 5 minute walk through the woods. Bed was comfortable. Shower nice. Everything new and clean. We didn’t use the downstairs but maybe next time! We would love to get back here again some time.

We had such a good time at Melissa's place! It was perfect for our girls' weekend. It was easy to find and check in was a breeze. The place is clean and comfortable. There is a little noise from traffic but there are sound machines in each room ,so that was not a problem. We had a blast and would highly recommend this Airbnb! It is close to downtown Dahlonega and all the wineries we wanted to visit. We would love to come back. Thanks Melissa!

The outdoor space was just as perfect, with a great porch to enjoy our morning coffee and a scenic backdrop that felt like a dream. Alan and Heidi were fantastic hosts, making sure we had all the information we needed for a smooth check-in and stay. It was the perfect mix of rustic charm and modern comfort. My husband and I stayed here for our anniversary. The cabin was perfect and offered privacy and relaxation just like we wanted. The cabin was very nice. Lovely touches like hand soaps, makeup towels, and everything you would need available. We stayed in the room downstairs and the bed was very comfortable. We also enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub. I would recommend bringing some slides for getting to the hot tub. We didn’t bring any since it was winter and assumed there would be pavers on the walkway. The house was very clean and a lovely way to spend our anniversary! Brandon and Tiffany were excellent and responsive hosts as well!

This is the perfect cabin in the woods. It is tucked at the end of a narrow gravel lane. The home is beautiful. The kitchen is clean and stocked with everything you need and more. We loved the waters and snacks after our long drive in. The beds are firm and the rooms are cozy. My family loved the coffee bar. It was very relaxing and peaceful to sit on the deck with our morning coffees. We saw deer all throughout the day. Across the narrow lane is the large fireplace where we spent our evenings. Then down the deck stairs to the river, we spent days fishing and wading in the cold water. There was even supplies provided for panning for gold! My boys had the best time. There are some things to be aware of, this is not a place for someone who has mobility issues. There are many stairs. This was no problem for us. Also, there are no TVs in the bedrooms, which was also a non-issue. We had such a fun time in the game room! We made great memories and would love to stay again.

I can’t say enough nice things. The house is clean and beautiful. It is very peaceful. Teresa communicated frequently and clearly. We can’t wait to return.

This beautiful home was a great location to have a girls weekend trip to wineries. Downtown Dahlonega and several wineries were all within minutes. Suited our party of 5 perfectly. The house is in a very peaceful location with a beautiful stream close by.
