We absolutely loved our stay at this quaint little cottage in Bremanger. The view of the open water and mountains is truly breathtaking—exactly what we were looking for, and it did not disappoint. The cottage itself is warm, cozy, and perfect for settling in for a few peaceful days. Gunnhild is a lovely host—very kind and responsive to all our needs. One thing to note is that the toilet is downstairs and the stairs are a bit narrow, so just something to keep in mind if you’re traveling with small children. But overall, we booked this place for the view, and we couldn’t be more satisfied. A truly memorable stay!

High standard, large cabin with amazing view

Great house to stay at. It was our central base for four days. nice ameneties and bathroom. Fantastic views. A couple small things: The room sizes are a bit small and the checkout cleaning instructions are a bit tedious. Other than that great experience and would stay again.

Child-friendly holiday home, preheated in winter.

Wir haben unsere Familienferien im Ferienhaus von Melissa und Siver sehr genossen. Es verfügt über viele Spielsachen und unsere Kinder haben es geliebt. Weiter ist es sehr familienfreundlich, insbesondere für kleine Kinder eingerichtet (Treppengitter, Bettgitter etc.). Die Küche ist gut ausgestattet mit neuem Kochherd (Induktion) und einem riesigen Kühlschrank. Alles war sauber und die Bettwäsche und Tücher konnten wir aus dem Schrank nehmen. Das Auto kann auf dem Grundstück geparkt werden. Melissa & Siver waren immer gut erreichbar und haben sehr schnell und freundlich auf meine Nachrichten geantwortet. Wir empfehlen das Haus sehr für Familien mit kleinen Kindern.

Amazing view by the lake

Nous avons passé un séjour inoubliable chez Steinar, sans aucun doute le plus bel endroit où nous avons séjourné. La vue est tout simplement indescriptible, à couper le souffle ! La maison est parfaite : extrêmement confortable, d’une propreté irréprochable et très bien équipée. Steinar est un hôte absolument adorable, toujours disponible pour prendre de nos nouvelles et répondre à nos questions avec gentillesse. Nous espérons vraiment pouvoir revenir un jour, tant nous avons apprécié notre séjour. Merci encore pour tout !

Wir haben bei Erik einen kleinen Zwischenstopp gemacht und haben uns sehr gut aufgehoben gefühlt. Die Wohnung ist klein, aber sehr gemütlich eingerichtet und sauber und liegt direkt am Wasser. Außerdem ist Erik ein sehr freundlicher und hilfsbereiter Host, der uns bei all unseren Fragen sehr geholfen hat. Wir würden jederzeit wieder kommen, danke für den schönen Aufenthalt!

We hadden geluk met een zonnige en droge dag om de omgeving te ontdekken. Het huis zelf is echter uitstekend om je ook binnen te kunnen vermaken, mocht het weer slecht zijn. Alles aanwezig wat je nodig hebt. Julie en Torbjørn zijn super leuke mensen. We hebben leuk met ze gepraat.

Kjære Hilde og Espen! Takk for fine dagar i hytta dekans. Me har hatt det kjekkt med tur opp mot Høgkubben og på leikeplassen og ellers vore på Glomset og kosa oss med krabbefiske.

Anders’ cabins are peaceful, and with the most incredible views. Cabin 5 looks out over the fjord and has a great wood burner and lovely living space; it was cosy and enjoyable even in early spring with snow still around and some rainy Vestland weather. There are lots of a great walks, and mountain trails a short drive away. Anders maintains the cabins well, and was responsive, friendly, and flexible. The hot tub is of course a huge highlight—an unmissable stay!

Flott rorbu med nydelig utsikt ! Stille og fredelig. Ledig fint å parkere rett utenfor, enkelt å finne fram, gode og raske svar på spørsmål. Velutstyrt kjøkken, nydelig utsikt. To fine bad. Det vi savnet var knagger til å henge tøy på i soverommene og på badet. Leselys over sengene ønsket jeg meg. Sov veldig godt i gode senger. Et sted du kan slappe av og bare nyte.

We rented this house for New Year's, and it was a wonderful experience. The house was warm and cozy, and it felt just like home. The owner had decorated it beautifully for the holiday. The view from the windows was breathtaking, creating the perfect atmosphere. We would rent this house again and highly recommend it to others.

This is a special place! Best of everything Norway has to offer. Quaint island community, a perfect peaceful getaway with easy and scenic drives to Alesund (15mins) or day trips to Loen, Stryn, and Geiranger. Traveled with another family and all had our own spaces, with beautiful accommodations, well appointed & extremely clean. The neighbor kids immediately greeted our two children and fast friends were made. We would sit outside on the deck or pier and listen to sounds of kids laughing and having fun everywhere, pulling fish, snails or crabs out of the water over & over again or playing at the local playground. Not to mention the hospitality of the neighbors (homemade strawberry jam, an evening fishing trip, and some local crab claw snacks). And hiking….. the most spectacular views hiking to Storhornet and back down the ridge to the island school. Meanwhile, the adults enjoyed the endless views from nearly every spot outside or inside the house. Core memories made!

Stryn, modern cabin in nice area

Cecilie’s cabin is a gem. I rented it to give my French family a glimpse of the Stryn/Loen beautiful surroundings and they had a blast. The cabin is so pretty and charming: everyone had a beautiful and relaxing time. Cecilie gave us great recommendations on the side and our stay couldn’t have been more perfect!
