I cannot say enough great things about Janice Marie’s beautiful home and communication through out our booking and stay. From the minute you pull in the driveway you feel like you’re home. The house is pristine and decorated beautifully. The sun porch was a game changer for us compared to other homes we have stayed at in the area. The neighborhood was quiet and peaceful and just a short walk to a great restaurant Bricks on boundary. My husband and our two teenage boys stayed here comfortably and never felt cramped. Thank you Janice Marie for an amazing stay! We look forward to staying next year on our trip. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We were in town for a marine's graduation and this home was absolutely perfect for our family. The backyard was amazing for our dog and Kristyn was extremely communicative. Thank you for an amazing stay!

Die Unterkunft war wunderbar und sauber. Es war alles vorhanden, was man braucht. Die Gegend ist ruhig, die Schule nur wenige Meter entfernt. Ein Babybett wurde freundlicherweise auf Anfrage organisiert. Unser 2jähriger Sohn konnte auch ohne Hochstuhl sehr gut am Tisch sitzen. Wir sind sehr zufrieden und können die Unterkunft nur empfehlen.

Joanne’s place was exactly as photographed. It was clean and neat. She had enough beds and bathrooms to accommodate my family. My mini loved the kids room. She enjoyed playing with the toys provided in addition to sleeping in the bunk bed with her big sister. We were traveling to Parris island for a USMC graduation. Joanne’s place was 3-4 min from the military base. That came in handy for those early mornings. Joanne also had chairs and some other items available for use while visiting the base. I think that was so very thoughtful. Lastly Joanne suggested we visit the waterfront in Beaufort. It did not disappoint! We took some great pictures, visited two restaurants and stopped to get some ice cream. Thanks again Joanne for being a great host!

We stayed at the River House for a long weekend and it was the perfect environment for relaxation. Lots of options in town for food, shopping, etc. Highly recommend!

If you have a large group, this is the place! We were 7 women and found the house to be very spacious - large bedrooms, plenty of bathrooms. The living area with the huge windows is gorgeous and adds a lot of natural light. There's plenty of room for all. This home is very private but only 10 minutes away from Beaufort proper and we explored the area every day. We enjoyed a boat trip with a naturalist from the downtown marina, a free ranger walk with discussion about the Reconstruction Period, a trip to Boneyard Beach and Parris Island, a golf cart tour through the historical antebellum houses district, a boardwalk visit through Cypress Wetlands, and a visit through the National Cemetery. The downtown area is beautiful as well with lots of local shops. There are plenty of delicious restaurants right on the water and lots to do close by. Stacey and Tim were very responsive when we had a question or an issue arose.

This perfect place set the tone for the most perfect vacation! We had the best time. Debbie & Dennis were so friendly, and had great recommendations for local things to do. We already can’t wait to plan our next trip here!!

We had an emergency & Caroline & her husband were extremely helpful. Caroline communicated with us on a regular basis. She provided us info on different places to visit including parks & trails. Cottage Burrough’s was a very comfortable place to stay & an excellent location to our favorite restaurants on the waterfront & grocery stores. Caroline is a very friendly host & always available to answer our questions & concerns.

This is our third year in a row we have stayed at this house. We love everything about it. First of all, the location is fantastic being only 3 blocks from the main street where there is shopping and restaurants. The house is spacious and easily has room for 5 people. The beds are extremely comfortable. We also love the 2 bathrooms as well. There is a large front porch which is perfect for just sitting out. Overall, this house is perfect and we can’t wait to come back again!
